If there's one thing I absolutely adore about Changbin, it's that like 49.5% of the time he looks like this, a buff-ass bunny:
49.5% of the time he looks like this, an absolute cutie-patootie:
but if you put JYP in front of him, that last 1% is just contemplating murder:
#bringing this back for his bday#yes i know the math makes no sense#he has an extra % of rage just for jyp deal?!

I keep seeing people talk about Felix and his back injury/issue. As someone with something similar and as someone who works in orthopedics, I wanted to throw my hat into the ring.
NOTE: I am NOT a licensed professional. I have been studying orthopedics by osmosis due to the nature of my job and due to my life as someone with chronic pain myself. Everything I say is 100% opinion based on what I know from the basic information I was given.

Felix has been suffering from the effects of a herniated disk and sciatica since 2022. Since then, he has been undergoing treatment to care for this issue through possibly medication, physical therapy, and diet changes/adjustments. Sometimes these things can heal on their own in up to 3 months, but sometimes they need assistance like said medication and treatments.
Surgery for this is commonly considered a last resort. If he were to choose this option, Felix would not be able to do about 90% of his job as an idol as he would need up to 3 months recovery time or even more depending on how he is healing. Many believe that once the members begin military rotations, he may take this option. Even if he gets the surgery, there is no guarantee that he'll ever go back to 100% as he will need check ups to make sure he's healing well and almost annual checkups to make sure it didn't return depending on what type of surgery he may receive and if he experiences any side effects.

Look, back injuries are no joke. His injury is essentially pressing on his nervous system, and without the proper care and understanding, he can cause serious damage to his whole body without the proper maintenance. The best thing Felix can do and HAS BEEN doing is listening to his body and communicating with his team.
He has chronic pain. FULL STOP. Chronic pain has no cure, it only has dampeners. With the proper maintenance and support, he'll be fine and ready for what he does next.
We get it. He needs rest, the boys need rest, but we need to respect that they probably have the best staff out in the field right now. If not the staff, the boys have each other. They're always checking up on each other and making sure that the proper things are communicated. If there's one thing Felix isn't feeling right now, it's loneliness and lack of support. He has such a strong support system, and that is the best thing someone could have when having possibly debilitating issue. Plus...come on....you really think Chan would let him on stage if he wasn't 100% sure that Felix was okay to perform?
