This is the first collage I've finished in years. I'd always select images based on some restrictive theme and never get far with it. This time I said, just rip out random blobs of textures, and that seemed to work out well enough.

I'm planning a larger painting of this scene but figured I'd do this smaller study first as a trial run.

I haven't introduced myself on here yet, I'm new to Tumblr and still figuring it out. I fell off painting for a few years but for some reason The Rings of Power has inspired me to start again. Watercolour is my preferred medium but I also like drawing.

I can't wait to start the bigger version!
