Stark, who is always ready to help
Now that you know my family, I would like you to get to know me a bit better as well. If I had to describe myself with one word, I would say that I am a helpful dog. Extremely helpful.
Let me give you a few examples:
Garden works
We have a huge garden, which is really nice, but trust me, it is a lot of work. As I spend a lot of time with Mr out there, I saw that he could do with an extra pair of hands, I mean paws, so I decided to help. Whilst he was pruning the fruit trees, I started to cut back the small trees, he planted last year by chewing their tops off. I didn’t miss a single one of them. Apparently, they are some special, fast growing trees, so I chewed them back quite a bit, to see if it is true or not. Whilst Mr waters the lawn, I do the conifer trees by weeing at them. And guess what, I made them turn dark! I brought some colour in our garden! Mr noticed and started to hose the conifers down, but he is unable to change the colour of them. Only Starky can do that! J Also, I don’t like to brag, but some of my holes are bigger than the ones he digs.
Music
Mr and Bump Lady like to listen to music and often turn the radio on. Well, lucky them, because I absolutely love “singing”. Some people might say that I am only making noises or whining and only those who are musically gifted can truly appreciate my tunes. Mr and Bump Lady are one of those people as they seem to be really impressed and said that they had never ever met such a vocal dog before. I took it as a compliment so I keep singing for them – day and night, practically non-stop: when I am playing, when I am bored, when I want something, even in my sleep. During the night, Mr often says: ‘Starky, that’s enough’ and then I stop…. Ok, I pause…. But the good news is that with my arrival, he doesn’t have to turn the radio on ever again.
Cleaning
I think it is the Bump Lady’s favourite hobby, she does it ALL the time. She says it is because there are four dogs in the house and it is never ending, but I am convinced that she secretly loves it. So I figured, if I come in from the garden with muddy paws, bring in a branch and chew it to bits in the middle of the rug, take the inside of my toys out, shred some paper to zillion pieces etc., she will have more cleaning to do. I also like to chew the lid of a water bottle and pour the water on the floor for her, so that she doesn’t have to carry the bucket around the house, when she is mopping the floor. It looks quite heavy and really there is no need for that if I can unscrew a bottle with my teeth.
And these are just a few examples, I also like to sneak up to the bedroom and keep Mr and Bump Lady’s bed warm form them, clean the plates when no one watches so they do not have to do the dishes, chase the little boys around in the garden so they do not run around the house like lunatics, and the list goes on and on and on.

I am sorry for not posting for so long, but I had a lot of growing and figuring out to do. I guess I still have loads to learn, but it is time to introduce my new family now I got to know them a bit better. I've already told you about Mr and the Bump Lady. Mr is my favourite, he is so much fun, we play a lot together. He spends a lot of time in the garden, I try and help him in whatever I can, which he isn't always impressed with. (I'll tell you more about this later.) We also go for walks together and I get treats for stopping and I get treats for stacking and I get treats for gaiting and even just for running up to him when he calls me. Best thing ever! Just between you and me: I would happily do all this without the treats, as I love being out and about with him, but the treats are definitely a bonus. As for the the Bump Lady, I love to cuddle up to her, but what I don't understand is why her bump is getting bigger and bigger - i hope she is all right. Everybody seems to be really excited about it, they often talk about something called a baby, but I don't know what that is, so I'll just have to wait and see. I have a big sister called Hemmie, well her full name is Lady Hemsworth after Chris Hemsworth = Thor (again, it has to do something with Mr's obsession with Marvel superheroes). She is originally from the UK. I know she is my big sister, but she is so pretty. No wonder her pedigree name is Khamioka Scottish Beauty. And I have two brothers, Pickle and Wellington, who look like carpet slippers. They are Maltipoos. First, I was like 'What???' but then I found out that Malti stands for Maltese and poo for (I know what you are thinking, but you are wrong), so poo stands for poodle. A strange combination, if you ask me. We get on well, but (and this is going to be embarrassing...) they sometimes tell me off.... I understand that they were here first and they are the bosses, but all I want is to play with them...ok, maybe I am a bit too much at times, but I am still just a puppy...

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the way to my new home i heard Mr talking to bump lady about my new brothers and sister. I had no idea what to expect. I had slept for a long time on bump lady and was ready to meet my new family. Pickle and Wellington had already started digging a hole for me in the garden when i arrived i was happy to join in. My big sister did not seem overly impressed

1st Day with Mr & Bump lady
Mr & bump lady picked me up from a place called Slovakia and drove for along time into a another country called Hungary. I found this funny as i am always hungry. The journey was tough and long i slept most of the way on the bump lady. The bump lady is nice she has a big bump which is very warm and has a beating noise coming from inside. I don't know her a real name yet. Mr seems nice on the journey he gave me food my mum and dad said to be polite to these people before i left, so i call him Mr.
