The toxicity of Murphy was truly amazing to watch. I liked the progression of her manipulation throughout the seasons. Showing female narcissists on tv is more needed. The manipulation and how easily normal people can fall for it because they don’t have the tools to detect it, tells me how much we need to teach people psychology. Of course I’m not condoning this behavior, I’m just interested in seeing more of it on the screen.

I really loved his first interaction with Baltimore. He really asked the right questions, seeing right through his shallow persona.

The Difference Between Celaena and Aelin

Yes, they share the same body, but they are two completely different people. I’m sure I’m not the only one in the fandom who thinks this.

Celaena:

• A young girl who was found half frozen to death on a river side by the King of Assassins. • A girl who has been through a lot of emotional and physical abuse for the first ten years of her life. • An assassin who lost her first love due to betrayal, and was sent to a slave mine because of betrayal. • A girl who wanted death so badly, she rebelled in the mines in hope they would kill her. • A spirit that could not be broken. • An assassin fighting for her freedom. • A girl who had no friends and allies after Nehemia dies. • A girl who has gone through so much, and is finally breaking. • She was killed by the Valg princes.

Aelin:

• A princess who was terrified of her own powers. • An outcast, who’s only friend was her cousin. • A little girl who felt alone, and felt like everyone hated her and thought she was a freak. • A girl who woke up beside her dead parents and watched a woman sacrifice herself for her. • A girl who fell into an icy cold river and lived as a ghost behind Celaena Sardothien. • The princess who lived right under her worst enemy’s nose. • The reason Celaena never looked the King of Adarlan in the eyes. • The little girl who helped herself get up and realize that she doesn’t need anyone else to know that she is strong and independent. • The powerful ‘fire breathing bitch queen’ that we all love. • The Heir of Ash and Fire. • The Queen who made an immortal Fae queen fear her. • The Queen who is trying to reclaim her crown and reform her kingdom. Trying to earn her people’s trust again.

Celaena protected Aelin just as much as Aelin helped Celaena get up and reclaim herself.

For this. I will always love their characters.
