Something that keeps hitting me about the tarot scene in Agatha all Along is that both the cards and the people they represent are true for Lilia.

We all know she is the Queen of Cups.

Alice is the path behind, having been lost on the road. But the path behind Lilia is also the Knight of Wands in general. Lilia has been fighting her power most of her life, but as she’s reaching an acceptance that’s behind her. Jen survives the road. She is the path ahead. But so is the High Priestess for Lilia. Lilia also has immense power that she has been unwilling to use until this point.

Agatha Harkness is definitely an obstacle for the coven. But so is Lilia’s own grief and sorrow, as represented by the Three of Swords. We see it as she talks to her teacher about not being able to change anyone’s fate, how she lost everyone. Her teacher tells her it isn’t her job to change anything, just to see.

Billy is the windfall, giving the witches a road where they can find what is missing as he is looking. But Lilia’s own miraculous transformation is her own windfall. Her chance to be part of a coven again, to change and accept her power, brought her what she needed to overcome her obstacles.

Rio is Death. Death is Lilia’s destination after she sacrifices herself for the coven. The coven that was what missing for her.

Lilia has needed connection. And through that connection, she remembered herself. She could not have done it alone. She needed to see the others to see herself.

finally answering to this, sorry for the delay!!! I didn't have much time to open tumblr before 😭😭

last film: literally the last thing I stopped to watch was Passion (with Patti's Fosca), and that was a long time ago, but it's still the last.

last book: I started reading Brilliant Friend because of a recommendation, but I stopped right at the beginning. I plan to read all the books but I don't know if I'll have time

last tv show: SIX FEET UNDER! I honestly started watching because of the pretty cover when I saw it (the green car), but keep watching for Frances Conroy, my beloved Frances Conroy. And yes, this is the series where Dexter is gay and works in a funeral home.

last google research: how to use — in english? 🫣 For some reason I thought it would be different from Portuguese so I searched it like this. I always see some people using it and it makes everything so beautiful and organized, but I didn't want to fill the sentences with it without any criteria.

what I'm looking forward to: finally have time to watch all the versions of sweeney todd that patti acts in, as well as get to the season of law and order that she is in (lydia lebasi, but soon i will start the other law and order, so ruth miller too).

current obsession: Stella Coffa and Fosca, they have been living in my mind rent free for a long time, and I don't think they'll leave soon. But also a cute russian cartoon, Smeshariki, that someone introduced me to ( @magicsprat ). How can a children's cartoon be so dense and profound? Full of super important reflections after the cutest filler in the world? I still can't understand. But also a book of sapphic stories that I found by chance in the school library and still haven't finished reading. I started it a long time ago, but I abandoned it due to lack of time. I have lots of obsessions 🤭
