Ok ok ok so she’s had a hard solo mission and is exhausted to her core, hasn’t eaten or drank, just running on empty, and it’s time to report to her superior officer. She’s standing there and trying to talk but she’s so dizzy she can’t focus.

Grumpy superior is like “okay if you’re that tired you can sit to report.” So she does, but it barely helps. She’s still tripping over words and losing focus. Superior eventually offers to reschedule for a few hours later so she can eat something and she agrees, but by this point her ears are ringing. She stays sitting because if she stands, she’s going to faint.

“I do have other appointments, you know.”

“Right. Sorry.” She stands and immediately drops.

you know, western movie writers, it would be more realistic if your main character DID get grazed by one of the bullets and walked around with a bleeding wound for the next few scenes. and you could see them bleeding through the bandage. and off-handedly mentioning the pain. I’m not saying this because I’m a freak of some kind. no ulterior motives. I promise.

Characters getting wrestled into a car and kidnapped my beloved. Hands cuffed to their back and thrown onto the backseat. (or of course, thrown in the trunk) They snap back for a bit, harmless with their hands tied, and get the door (trunk) slammed shut in their face.

But also, characters willingly getting into a car with their kidnapper, under threat, at gunpoint, or already so bruised that they can't put up a fight anymore.

And/or! They (somewhat) trust that person only for them to find out during the ride that they're not going to where they are supposed to be going :)) Ohh, that sinking feeling.
