Reasons.

I love tickling you. No, seriously. It’s so much fun, I love it. Why? Well, there are a lot of reasons, so it’s hard to choose a place to start. Hmmm. Guess we’ll start at the most obvious one.

You like it! How fun is that? Like, you enjoy getting tickled. What do you mean, I can make your day better and put a smile on your face, just by squishing your sides once or twice (lets be honest, much more than that) and wiggling my fingers in the right places? Something about knowing how much fun you’re having each time I start to mutter those magic, seemingly flustering words, and my fingers get to moving, is just so great. Perhaps, the greatest. And I mean, who doesn't like making the people they care about-like, really care about, happy? If you think about it like that, it’s almost a no brainer really. I’m proud that I get to do that-like, Me? Me!!! The prospect, the concept of how excited you get thinking about me tickling you is, by itself, enough for me to do it again and again and again and again and-

I’m getting ahead of myself, sorry. Reason Number Two-Your Smile. Your Smile is…something, that’s for sure. It’s like, if you could take the chemicals that make the emotion of giddiness-the β-endorphins, The Dopamine, The Serotonins, Allllll of that, and could mix it into a super sunshine Smoothie-your smile looks like that smoothie would taste. Pure, Unadulterated Joy. Most people would compare your smile to the stars instead (Most people aren’t studying to be a doctor, hehe) and really, they aren’t wrong. It lights up your whole face, compliments it, shines even. If I could, I would make it so that you’re just always smiling-always feeling the joy I feel when you smile. It would be great, I think. It is great, when you grin. Not to mention that laugh It’s so…laughlike. I know that sounds stupid, but really, it’s so unfiltered, in the best way. I love listening to it. It’s one of those things that makes me more excited than I should be, ya know? Sometimes, it’s flustering, even, listening to your laugh. Mostly, It’s really, really, really, really cute.

I think there’s gotta be a natural human sociological reaction to want to make people laugh-that’s probably why comedians exist tbh. But making YOU laugh, it always hit different, because of how incredible your laugh is. Talk about motivation. Not only is your laugh the cutest, you’re just…so ticklish. It’s Adorable!!! 

One could never DREAM of matching your ticklishness, truly, impressive that anyone that weak to something like tickling even exists. The way you thrash around when touched, the snorting, the squeaking, the sounds you probably wish you could men in black mind erase from my brain (you can’t, I’m never forgetting those), it’s all so silly and wonderful. It’s like your kryptonite, but instead of a rock, it’s someone rocking out with your ribcage as the guitar. It’s so silly too, tickling. Like, it might be the single most unserious thing ever. “I’m gonna dig my fingers into your flesh…and you’re gonna fucking chortle” Be so fr.  Going Teehee over getting touched is so goofy man, Fuck are you giggling for? You’re ticklish? Yeah? I’m sure, bud. God had a sense of humor when he made some of nus (ahem-YOU) so ticklish that it doesn't even have to be an intentional tickle to wreck you. Never go into the armed forces btw “Attention Commander. The Target is armed and extremely dangerous. They’ve killed dozens of good men of ours. If you get caught by them, there are only three things you can do. One. Shoot to kill. Two. Pray to god. Three-Squish their tummy, and don’t you dare stop if you value their life. Give them the Gitsies like they’ve never been Given, Commander.” I’m actually cryin, you’re really that ticklish. Damn. Being tickled was literally what you were made to do. Biological intelligent design. Besides allat, there’s something so…sacred, about seeing you like that. A mess, certainly, but a beautiful little mess. An intimacy, in seeing that red, tear streaked, happy face and saying “Yep, I did that.” One of my favorite feelings on the planet, frankly. Yeah I love tickling you. What’s not to love?

your breath hitches, eyes wide and looking around for some place to hide. in your short time, you can only think of traditional spots. under the bed? behind the couch? in the closet? fuck fuck fuck! you can't think, there's not enough time!

you hear my chair drag as I get up, "three. two. one..." my eyes open, and you can feel them on you from your hiding spot.
