Would Seonghwa and Hongjoong get jealous at all that their little dove’s attention is focused on San more than it is them?

as long as it doesn’t last too long, then no. they understand that he’s new and so obviously he’s going to take up a lot of darling’s time as she tries to befriend him. they actually find it quite sweet that she’s so desperate to get to know him and make him feel at home in the house.

but if it carries on, they can’t help but feel a little jealous. she’s theirs, isn’t she? why is the butler taking up the attention that she should be putting on them? seonghwa misses her trying to distract him as he gardens, and hongjoong misses her sitting at his feet at he writes out invoices and letters to his buyers. it just feels a little… empty when she’s busy following san around.

deep down, though, they know it’s a quick remedy. if she’s getting too close, they know how to make her behave again. a single look can have her submitting to them like a kitten, and they won’t hesitate to use that power if they think she needs a reminder that she’s theirs…

she’ll certainly try her hardest…

yeosang she knows she can get to cuddle with her so incredibly easily. he might think he he it pretty well hidden but darling isn’t a fool; she can see as clear as anyone that yeosang would do anything for her. if she begs and pouts enough, of course yeosang will go and cuddle with her by the fire!! he’ll claim it’s ‘only so you’ll shut up,’ but darling has a knowing smile on her face as she makes her bed on top of yeosang.

san might take a little more convincing. he’s just the help and whilst darling is nice enough to have around whilst he’s doing his chores, cuddling by the fire isn’t in his job description. he tries letting her down lightly with a ‘maybe soon,’ even though he knows that she knows that he really means no. but even then, darling will try every trick in the book with him; begging, pouting, even crying. the poor, confused man will still say no… unless, of course, yeosang has anything to say about it.

“come on, she’s been asking for weeks,” the werewolf hums to san as you step out of earshot. he wouldn’t want you to know that he’s doing this for you, after all; it would ruin his perfectly curated image of himself. you know, the tough, strong wolf that everyone sees right though. “the least you can do it spare 30 minutes…”

“if i had 30 minutes, i’d spare them,” san grumbles as he wipes the sides down, “i’m as tired of the annoyingly endless whining as you are…”

“fine then,” yeosang secedes, “give her 15 minutes or i’ll tell hongjoong you called her whining ‘annoyingly endless’…”
