Fundraiser and a poll!

I have good news: ibrahim's Father may be able to travel with The Red Cross for medical treatment outside of Gaza, for which Ibrahim's family needs for for. So the less-awesome news is that they need to fundraise for this.

Also, a reminder that this is Ibrahim's second fundraiser because gfm decided to halt the transfer of funds and then delete his last one even though he met 100% of his goal, and so now has to start all over again. Please consider donating and rbing

Complain about morality OCD and compassion burnout all you want. My friend’s family might die tomorrow. Might die right now. In any moment I am not speaking to Ghada, it is possible that she is dead.

So when I ask you to reblog this post, think about the lack of effort it would take to flick your thumb—and realize it could be saving the lives of 14 people, affected by the horrors of war more than you could possibly imagine on your own.

Think about the sound of artillery firing. Even simply guns nearby. There's no "getting used to" that as your constant reality.

Major Author Milestone

I got the first reviews back from the ARCs i sent out. If you don't know an ARC is an advanced reader copy which is sent out to readers prior to the release date to kind of build a hype team amongst the people who liked it!!

These are the very first reviews for my novel The Blood of The Covenant which follows the story of Mitch, a trans guy who was turned into a werewolf three years ago along with three other people in an attack that killed his little sister. Lately, a lot more people in his local town have gone missing, only to show up mauled by some wild animal. They know it's another werewolf, and they know its actively choosing to attack people, hiding behind an animalistic defence. It's up to Mitch and his pack to find out who's behind this and put them down. Dead dogs don't bite.

As you can probably tell from the reviews the book features a mostly trans main cast and is filled with t4t love stories and polyamory wrapped up deliciously in the Fated mates trope.

Introducing Wren Blackburn

Wren is one of the main characters in The Blood of The Covenant, which is an urban fantasy novel that uses lycanthropy to discuss themes of found family, queer idenity, consent, and toxic masculinity.

The novel centers around a group of queer friends who were turned by a rogue werewolf and uses the idea of these rogue werewolves to critque rape culture. Upon turning, these rogues use their new found monstrosity to maul and consume human beings despite remaining fully conscious on full moons. Basically they choose to act like animals.

Wren is an 18 year-old born werewolf who recently moved next to one of the other MCs Mitch. They have been training their whole life to hunt and kill these wolves as an aconite solider.

When she was sent of her first mission she was hurt badly by a human boy she trusted.

Interesting fact about Wren:

They were raised by polyamorous parents and they themself are transfemme nonbinary, bisexual, and polyamorous!
