#COVIDquilting - anyone else out there finishing up all kinds of quilts? These are just a couple of the many scrap quilts I’ve made while we’ve been at home. I’m still working, but I now have more time on my hands. I thought about making a new tag, #YASQ (yet another scrap quilt) because naming quilts is not my thing. I’ve been writing a story about a woodchuck/ground hog. Today, this lil critter popped up on the horizon. Not exactly a family portrait - one of these is predator, the rest are prey. But ... I made myself some new friends. Today, they are enjoying the sunshine and mild temp on my front porch. The Special Necklace

The next night, Frankencow had another strange dream:  this time, a chihuahua was trapped in a woman's purse.  The dog had sad, pleading eyes, but Frankencow couldn't figure out how to open the bag and let the dog out.

"Don't even try," the chihuahua said in a sad voice.  "This is my destiny.  I must warn you not to wear the necklace."

"The necklace?  What necklace?" Frankie asked, bewildered.  "The only necklace I have is my horseshoe for good luck."

"Good!" the chihuahua answered.  "Do not exchange it for any other necklace, no matter how attractive the offer."

Frankencow was confused by the chihuahua's message:  who would offer her a necklace in exchange for a horseshoe?  It seemed like a strange command, but she promised she wouldn't swap with anyone.

Witches or blue fairies?

After Frankencow’s efforts at preparing herself for a new mission, she fell into a deep sleep.

While she slept, she dreamed that she was visited by two strange female individuals, who were trying to dissuade Frankie from her task.

"But, if I don't complete this mission, the world as we know it might be destroyed," Frankie told these two in her dream.

Their shrill giggles put Frankie on alert.  She couldn't be for certain, but she did not think these two were too concerned for the fate of the world.  But did that mean they were evil witches?  Or perhaps, these two were just fairies who had been harassed by humans for too long - it really was hard to say.

But either way, Frankie knew that her dream was no coincidence.  There were creatures out there that would try to stop her from succeeding.

Frankencow got a couple of friends together to help me practice using the camera.  Unfortunately, it was a case of Frankie in the middle when Davey and Eve L. found out they both couldn't be in EVERY shot.

Here, Davey's left out in the cold, and Frankencow's not too happy with being forced to choose sides.
