spilt beer

“don’t cry over spilt milk” i never understood that phrase.. still don’t if i am being honest. but crying over spilt beer is something that made more sense in the sense of the phrase. not often are we crying when beer is spilt but rather laughing or enjoying the company of those who mean something to us. but when we are crying over spilt beer, it’s almost always when we’re alone and the only company we have is the bartender and demons. the similarities between crying over spilt beer and spilt beer is the fact that neither liquid can return to their origins, but rather we need to embrace the stains they leave behind, because once you cry over spilt beer, you can laugh at the next one.
