hyejin knows she's been a trainee at studio delta for a bit now and is awaiting for something to happen. lime has their new boy group so she can only hope she'll get something down the line especially since she signed to be apart of the company again. she's happy that she's been improving more and more though at least. she wouldn't still be a trainee otherwise.
she does love seeing what other trainees are up to whether they are newer or if they've been around for a bit. she can see that others are better at things she isn't but she usually only focuses on what she's good at. she wants to be able to rap, sing, and dance which has her training a lot harder just to achieve that. plus she's been pushing herself to learn about choreography more so maybe one day she'd get to help create a dance for a group if possible.
"oh, just a lot of singing classes and different things to keep my voice stable." hyejin lets sua know, a soft smile on her lips. she knows it's a basic answer but that's all she's really done ever since she got interested in singing and rapping. "plus i practice singing songs that i enjoy all the time." at the end of the day, hyejin enjoyed singing and enjoyed being at studio delta to hone her skills more. "you think so? i appreciate hearing that." she beamed, her cheeks a little red.
feat. @behyejin everlasting melody.
sua would readily say she's been vastly improving. sure, it's nothing crazy or notable. it's steady-- a gentle rise as sua gains her footing in an industry she knew very little about. she's still nowhere near ready, but she will admit she's done a lot since her audition all those months ago.
it still doesn't mean she doesn't see the obvious disparities between her and other trainees sometimes. sua excels at some things and struggles at others-- as does most people do. it still grates on her nerves a little bit. knowing that all that awaits her is a constant stream of practice, improve, practice, improve.
"how do you get your voice to stay...in tune so well?" sua asks, listening to hyejin do vocal warm ups. sua doesn't know what goes on at studio delta, but hyejin's voice sounds clear and nice, even if she's not doing anything strenuous. "you sound really good."

"they should. it would help for us trainees who wanna post on our social media. just gonna keep using emojis i guess." sure she knew not to post about training or even showing off anything that studio delta didn't want shown. it was still hard though since she didn't know if her words would be taken out of context at all. not that she said anything bad but the internet was a strange place. she wants to be able to represent a brand one day if she gets an endorsement or gets to be an ambassador down the line. it's different than how she's posted before being a trainee and she knows she's still learning.
"it would! you really can and we don't have to restrict ourselves to one thing." sure she knows that if might be a bit for them to even take the chance to stream together but maybe something would open up in the future. hopefully nothing would get in the way at all. "it would. people would have fun seeing what you do on a skateboard." she beamed brightly.
"maybe i'd have to moderate your stream for you and get all the bad eggs out of there for you." she's sure stevie would have an audience though especially after winning season two of next gen. "i wouldn't let them do so." she assured him. "well if you want to start down the line, i'd gladly stream with you."
"they should have them for everything! how else am i going to learn things if i don't know what okay and what's not okay, y'know?" besides well, the more obvious stuff. they're even talking about potential brands and what's okay when brands are attached to your name. stevie understands it to some degree, sure. but for certain things, he feels like it's pushing it. or maybe stevie's just not used to the amount of restrictions.
"a stream collab would be fun! you can do a lot, honestly, right? the options are endless." stevie's seen a lot of streams and varying content, and it always looks fun. he's not sure if they'd have any chance to do it together anytime soon-- but they could pencil it in for the future. put a pin in it and come back to it. "skateboarding stream would be dope...or surfing? whoa. it'd look so cool." he's getting lost in the thought of it now.
"i'm like one hundred percent sure i'd get myself in trouble the first day i streamed. probably. rocks up here sometimes." stevie lifts his hand and knocks on the side of his head with his knuckles. "they'd eat me alive i just know it!" pausing as he considers the horrors that could lead him into, stevie nervous laughs. "okay maybe...i shouldn't try streaming. not by myself at least."

hyejin tries her best to seem chipper and friendly whenever she's around someone new. plus she already enjoys claudine and knows they'll have a great time doing this together. "you're welcome. i mean i get that. i was a fan before wanting to try the idol life myself. it's so different being a trainee on the other side of it all."
she's been at studio delta this long so she's ready for whatever else they'll throw her way. "ah i see. i usually focused more on singing and rapping so i'm all for getting better at dancing." she likes that she can talk to someone else this way and not hide every single thing. It feels nice. "yes! i'm all for us doing so together."
training with someone else is always more enjoyable in hyejin's eyes. sure they are all just ready to debut first but push someone else down wouldn't help. she feels that anyway plus she enjoys being positive way more.
"that's true. i haven't been doing too much myself at all. been busy with other things related to training." she used to have more time for other activities outside of being a trainee but she's been focusing on making sure she's always training and keeping up. "oh! i wouldn't mind that at all. i'd love to take yoga classes with you."
thinking carefully, hyejin runs through all the boys groups she knows. "i really like vertex so i'm always up for learning their choreography."
hyejin’s chipper attitude is lifting claudine’s mood as well. she wouldn’t have been as interested in the workshop if she hadn’t run into hyejin, who’s a darling to talk to and kind. then again, it’s easy for claudine to be content when she’s surrounded by an energetic girl, which is what hyejin seems to be. “thank you! i kind of dived into this idol life on a whim, so i have no idea what to expect!”
it’s more than she bargained for, that’s for sure. but claudine is always up for a challenge, no matter who it is from or what it is about. “i’ve only ever done dance routines for stageplays, which is why i decided to join this workshop.” she feels comfortable enough to share that information with hyejin, who also seems like an open book herself. “i’m open to improvement though, and we can always do it together!”
the point of training together is to improve together, isn’t it? sure, there’s competition to be had and you’re basically chasing towards debuts while in a race with others—but clouding herself with thoughts like that will only bring negativity, she likes to focus on the positive aspects.
“i mean, yoga is always an option if you want to test your flexibility! i’ve definitely been slacking though, i used to be a lot better at managing my time when it comes to that, but now it’s just lots of training.” she sighs. she likes to keep busy, so it doesn’t bother her too much. “maybe we can go together to yoga classes some time! i’d be a lot more motivated with a partner!”
she is curious about hyejin’s next statement though. “what boy group choreographies do you want to learn?”

ᴛᴀᴋɪɴ' ᴀʟʟ ᴏꜰ ᴍʏ ᴀɪʀ
for @beleean
it was one of those days where hyejin had been at university to attend a class for something that needed to be in person. sure she didn't have much left to do to pass but it was still a lot alongside being a trainee. she made it work somehow even if she had been tired more days than she wanted to. it was all worth it in her eyes. so she finds herself heading to a class for a vocal exam when she can't help but notice something.
she had seen this person before. it seemed they always had run into one another whenever going to classes and if anything, it made her laugh a bit. she didn't hate it and it was nice seeing someone all the time. "seems we can't stop meeting up like this." she laughed a bit, flashing the other a bright smile. "i'm hyejin by the way. we see one another enough, i feel i should introduce myself."

"please, a rule book would be so helpful." she laughs a bit herself. sure she might have been posting on social media a ton before being a trainee but she never had this many rules she had to follow. everything had to be tailored in a certain way to not cause issues and she understood why. she didn't mind keeping her captions as emojis or even just something simple. "they are. same here! there are some good one that always make me laugh."
she's glad that stevie understands. she knows some people still don't get streaming even with how big it is. she gets it's hard to wrap their head around being in front of a camera for that long each day but she knows her limit with it and makes sure to keep her energy levels in check. "i'd be excited if you did. it's fun in it's own way and then we could collab together on a stream even."
"hmm, they might let you. i know other trainees who have still streamed." though not every trainee is that lucky and gets to only do that when an idol. "oh, they might to make sure you didn't mess up anything. do you? you'd probably give fuel to the fire of your chat." hyejin couldn't help but say with a playful smile.
"a rulebook or something." stevie laughs softly to himself, shaking his head. it's still kind of a weird, almost silly idea to him. the idea that your social media image is so specifically tailored and manufactured even down to your captions on instagram. crazy, just bonkers. "aren't they fun? some of them always get a laugh out of me." stevie snorts.
leaning back a bit, stevie gives an understanding nod. that doesn't surprise him-- streamers tend to get a lot of parasocial viewers often, and that's definitely something that drains you. also just having yourself on camera for that long, that consistently through the week would tire anyone out. even the most extroverted. "if i ever get the urge or the will to stream, i'll let you know!" stevie beams at the other, grinning.
"though, honestly..." stevie thinks about it, tilting his head up to the ceiling, his expression pinched in thought. "do you think they'd let me stream?" stevie laughs. "i think they'd make me take like...a million and one social media etiquette classes, or something. i say dumb stuff pretty often."

hyejin nods her head instantly as she gives ria a smile. "i do think you are good enough. you'd do well." she believed in ria and could see the other having a successful youtube channel. plus if you could talk while doing your hobby, it made filming videos much easier. hyejin knew she'd easily watch ria's videos to show her all the support. "i don't share it as often as i should. i feel i talk about streaming on youtube much more." she laughs a bit. "you are already pretty ria. my make-up tutorial will probably just enhance parts of your features more." though even saying that, hyejin feels her cheeks burn. usually she's fine with compliments but ria caught her off guard here.
"i mean i get that. i only have my own place here due to my family being in another country. you'll love being independent honestly and having your own space even if it's with a roommate." she beamed, knowing that she couldn't go back to living with her parents again even if she tried. "you're welcome." she smiled back. "alright, let me know your decision whenever you are ready. it's a decent size and feels too big for me to be by myself. i don't know if you have at all. i don't remember the last time i invited anyone over."
behyejin
hyejin had her own doubts about her looks and modeling at a young age didn't help. plus her mother pushed those doubts more in her head which made her glad she had gotten away from her. she could try to love her looks outside of the tons of caked on makeup and not feel so insecure around others like she did when modeling. "yes! i have a ton of them and even try to upload them now with my busy schedule." she beams a bit as she looks at ria. "i'm sure you'd do good though! people would love seeing how you do your makeup especially for things like halloween." she knew that ria would have an audience, she could feel it. "i'll be sure to. i'd love seeing you attempting my makeup routine." she had an updated version of her current makeup so she was ready to see how others looked with it. "please, that would be so much fun." "ooo, that's exciting! i'm studying vocal music. you got this though and it's gonna be great once you are done." "i mean it would be nice and being independent is great." she got that it was hard though especially when having a bigger schedule. "i mean, you could work part time somewhere and be fine. i work part time at a cat cafe." she lets her know. "i'm sure your brother wouldn't mind but if he's busy, it makes it harder. i'd offer to be my roommate but you don't have to if you don't want to."
“you think so?” she tilts her head to the side “do you think i’m good enough?”. ria hadn’t really talked about it with anyone, but, she had considered giving being a youtuber a try. she enjoyed doing her make up and she enjoyed talking, she figured she’d still enjoy talking even though it was simply to a screen. hyejin’s comment makes her think about it further, perhaps it isn’t such a bad idea. “ah i’m excited, how come i didn’t know you uploaded videos before” she pouts “but i’m looking forward to it, will i finally be as pretty as you once i follow your make-up tutorial?”.
“so many of my friends have their own place”. “i wanted to stay with my parents until i finished school, so i didn’t have work alongside school, but i’m really starting to consider moving out… my parents are nice and all, but like you said, it’d be nice to be independent”. “thank you hyejin” she smiles at the other “i’ll think about it! how big is your apartment? have i ever been there before?”.

hyejin smiles at ria before nodding instantly. "i am. been doing it as a hobby of sorts. i've even uploaded videos online doing makeup tutorials. i mean day to day makeup is easier than halloween makeup though." she knows many who go above and beyond for their makeup when it comes to dressing up. she dabbled in it from time to time but usually only for holidays where dressing up was a common place. "i mean i do the same thing. something about having new makeup is exciting." she beams. "oh really? yeah, doing others makeup would be a challenge then. it would be fun to try though." she never got to do anyone's makeup but her own though she never was against trying to do so. "what are you studying?" "i get that. anything else would be too expensive without a job." she had a job and a source for money but she preferred working hard instead of taking any kind of hand out. "ah, i get that. felt the same way after i decided to move away from home. it's nice being independent." though it also got her away from her mother which she was glad for. "i do live alone. no roommates at all but i wouldn't mind having one." it got lonely at times and she at times wished to have someone there when she had long days from training.
for a long time ria hadn’t felt pretty, it was only in recent years she had begun liking looking at herself in the mirror. and it was somehow also first when she felt pretty she begun doing her make up. ria wouldn’t say she was obsessed with her own looks, but perhaps she was a bit, she cared for it all, how she styled her hair, how she did her make up, what she wore, she just so desperately wanted to make sure she’d continue to feel pretty. “eh! you’ve uploaded videos of make up tutorials?” ria looks at the other, her eyes widening “i wanted to do so too… but i’m scared” she pouts. “send me a link though, then i can attempt doing your make up routine!” she smiles to the other. “maybe we should do each other’s make up some day!”.
“ah, i’m studying sociology! just a little over a year and then i’m finished!”.
she sighs “maybe i should get a job though? so i can move out and buy stuff for myself” she shrugs “i just don’t want to get distracted from my studies…” she pouts. “having my own place would be nice, i wouldn’t mind having a roommate though, as long as i get to move out of my parents’ place”. “maybe my brother wouldn’t mind some company? not sure, he seems so busy at the moment, i barely see him”.

hyejin nods as she listens to stevie before speaking. "there really should so we don't accidentally cross that boundary." she knows that even with a boundary, there can be a issues with how lenient it was as well. "the best way to do it. i've been doing that more when posting photos online."
thinking carefully, hyejin lets herself nod as she hears stevie's question. "i do at times. i've taken breaks from streaming a few time due to it." it's fun at the end of the day though and she always comes back to it. plus her mods are pretty great at keeping the weirdos out of her chat. "i mean you never know. i'd suggest some good mods to help you out if you ever decided to stream." she knows some people try to get under the skin of their streamer but she was lucky her chat was pretty chill.
stevie thinks about it, lips jutting out in a pout. "yeah. makes sense. there should be like...a line. or a boundary." he wants to say something about common sense-- but he thinks about how many times he's said things before he's really thought about them. "i'll keep it safe with the emojis i think. pictures are like a thousand words or whatever, emojis are kind of the same."
humming, stevie's brows furrow, before he looks at hyejin in curiosity, as if a thought just came to him. "do you get like, burnout from that? streaming? i feel like that's common with streamers." among other things-- streaming looks fun and easy, but stevie knows it probably has it's own share of horror stories. "i feel like my chat would bully me if i streamed." who knows what kind of stuff he would say, what kind of things he would read. some things you just can't not respond to.

hyejin looks toward the intercom, hoping to hear something that would let them know what was going on. she can't help the pout that appears on her lips as it cuts out. all she wants is to get out. being in the elevator for this long is making her wanna freak out even more. the amount of space is messing with her and all she wants to do it scream.
looking towards the other, she nods her head. "yeah, i did." she had been holding herself for a bit and doesn't plan to stop. "i can't handle this! i'd rather it be any other way and not in an elevator." she couldn't be rational at all in the moment.
looking over at him again, she cocks her head to the side. she was a bit confused about what the other was going on about. she was pretty sure he was joking but she didn't quite know what to say to it. "i never thought i'd die this way. i still have so much to do." she breathed out as she hugged herself harder.
with one last hard kick, the intercom crackles. a woman’s voice comes on, but the static eventually makes her cut out—though not before he catches the words fire and soon. great! whoo!
“did you hear that?” hansol throws his arm around the girl and shines his phone light at the intercom. “we’re gonna die in here—just you and me—burnt into extra crispy lil chicken wings.” but c’mon, fire? surely, there are better ways to get them out.
unless.
unless.
hansol lets out an exasperated sigh, his arm slipping off from her shoulders as he slumps against the elevator wall. “sorry, miss. seems like you’re caught up in my father’s latest attempt to dispose of me.” it’s his shot at a joke that doesn’t land, considering … well, everything. “ever thought you’d die like this?”

"i'm sure you will! crossing my fingers for you!" hyejin mused happily as she looked at the other girl. there's a lot for people to do as a trainee and she wonders if they would want all of them to be all-rounders. plus they had time before getting to debut at some point. they'd both get to refine what the company wanted of them in the meantime.
"that's good. i feel i lack in dancing a bit so i was ready to take this workshop." she's danced a bit since she joined studio delta but she still feels she could do more. she just likes singing and rapping much more though she knows she can't push dancing to the side. it's apart of being an idol like everything else.
hyejin flashes a smile back as she lets herself stretch a bit. she has to make sure she doesn't hurt herself when dancing. "i look forward to us working together." she beams, eager to work alongside claudine for this. she felt she'd already enjoy being beside the girl outside of this as well.
"i do too. i'm crossing my finger it's different. feel i've been learning girl group dances way too often with regular training." she didn't hate it but a change would be nice. "ooo, that would be different and fun." she laughed a bit. "it would and i'd love seeing how everyone fairs. my flexibility is average. feel i need to train myself on that more. though i'd love to do more dances from boy groups as well."
“hmmm, i hope i find what i’m good at soon!” claudine replies, wondering exactly what that would be. for now though, she’s determined to make up for whatever it is she’s lacking throughout her training period. it feels as if she has a long way to go honestly, but it’s not like she’ll be debuting the next day!
“in the mean time, i’ll try to work on where i know i lack… like here!” she’s familiar with dancing, at least the sort of routine one would see in a musical theatre. it’s clearly different compared to the sort that idols do, but at least she wouldn’t completely blind. besides, she has been training for a while, learning to dance is a part of that.
claudine stretches her legs with a hum, pressing one of them against the railing. “great! you’ll be my partner for the day,” claudine expresses with a smile towards the other girl, happy that hyejin accepted her invitation without much of a fight. now the workshop is a lot more colorful!
“i wonder what they’ll be teaching us in this workshop. surely it wouldn’t be the same thing as we learn during regular training, right?” she tilts her head, curious. “do you think we’ll learn ballet?” she questions with an eyebrow raised, followed by a laugh. “that would make things interesting. i should test my flexibility one of these days! what about you?”

well hyejin had been dancing more in her free time to make choreography but it wasn't her main focus it seemed. she was changing that now, wanting to make sure that she was as well rounded as possible. plus she'd get to see others dancing as well which she was all for getting to see.
maybe if she works harder, she'll be able to prove herself more. sure it's not singing or rapping at all though she's up for improving. she could probably meet someone new who she hasn't before outside of the other trainees that she's always interacting with.
this workshop already seems much better with getting to talk to the other girl. she can't help the smile that spreads across her lips. "i mean i get that. you'll figure out what you are good at later. i just have skills i like focusing on more."
"you can call dibs on me, i don't mind." she beams, keeping her voice low before laughing a bit. "i try to be a good dancer but i wanna improve more. i like rapping and singing much more."
it's about time that claudine actually... gets into the groove of this idol thing. what better way to do that than brush up on her more technical skills? she knows that’s where she’s lacking, which is why she decided to join the dancing workshop this time around.
sure, it’s interesting so far—but she’s starting off with the theories of everything before getting into the swing of applying what she’s learning into dancing itself. although she thinks what comes after won’t be too far from what she does on a weekly basis as a trainee.
her attention is easily captured when another trainee—a pretty girl, at that—speaks to her. instantly, the workshop is less boring. “tell me about it! i can’t really tell you what i’m good at right now though, since i think i’m… still considered a newbie?” she hums.
“if we have a duo choreography to practice, can i call dibs on you?” she asks, voice hushed to a whisper, followed by a light giggle afterwards. “either way, i’m sure you’re more of a dancer than i am.”

for @beclaudine
hyejin had done a few workshops though she seemed to have avoided the dance related one until now. she couldn't avoid it forever and knew that she needed to make sure her dancing was up to par along with her other skills.
once she signed up for the workshop and went to attend it, she can't help but gravitate to one of the girls she sees there. hyejin was always a sucker for pretty girls so she knew that she was gonna cozy up to her if possible. it would make the workshop more fun as well in her eyes.
"ready to learn to dance better?" she asks, flashing a bright smile. "i feel i rely on singing and rapping more so this is needed." she can't help but laugh a little though keeps her focus on the other girl as she lets herself get ready for what the workshop entails.

"i mean you aren't wrong about that. it should come naturally but i've seen what some people put online that they should." she doesn't mind learning more since it's important with them being trainees. though she does wonder how much more they'll throw their way to make sure they learned more about the industry.
"honestly, the meeting point does feel blurred." it's like they could post online but not every little thing. it made it hard to figure out what to share with anyone. maybe that's why she hadn't been as active as she was before. she got the companies were strict but she didn't want to hide her authentic self. she was all about being a idol fan and enjoying makeup. those two things were just apart of her and she couldn't separate that from herself. "emojis are safer. might stick to them myself." she mused. "i do. i spend a lot of time on instagram but i love getting to stream whenever i have the chance."
"this feels like something that like...shouldn't be taught. y'know. like something that's supposed to come naturally over time. it's weird to think it's a workshop." he's learning something every damn day. he probably should stop being so surprised at this point and learn to take it in stride-- but damn. it catches him off guard each and everytime.
"like...where's the limit?" he asks. "they want us to be, y'know. ourselves but not. but where do we find that...meeting point i guess." companies are so strict. what if they tell him to stop talking about skateboarding because it promotes being unsafe or something? same about surfing-- and stevie can't take surfing out of him. he wouldn't be stevie park without surfing. "i dunno. seems weird. should i just keep it safe and stick to captioning everything with just emojis?" he scratches his head. "do you use social media a lot? i basically live on instagram, i think. oof."

"i love that you do that. i'm better at doing makeup compared to making costumes. i'd love to learn one day whenever i have the time." costume making always interested hyejin but it wasn't something she ever got the chance to try. between live streaming and being a trainee, she didn't have much time for anything else. it was something she wanted to chance to try out whenever she had the moment to do so. "any time we have free time, i'd love to see what you've made." she gives a smile back. "you are too kind. i'd appreciate that honestly. i can see that it's cheaper then spending tons of money on an outfit online." she'd be all for asking ria for help with costumes instead of using the money she earned to get an overpriced costume that might not even be of the best quality. "aww, you are too sweet."
“eh!” ria’s eyes light up with joy at the other’s words. “you’re interested in make up? me too! not exactly the best at halloween make up, but i care much for my day-to-day make up” she runs a hand through her hair. “i have a habit of keeping buying new make up though i don’t need it… i just love it so much” she nods. “at some point i considered becoming a make-up artist, but while i’m good at doing my own make-up, i’m not really good at doing other people’s make-up” she shrugs. “i’m happy with what i’m studying right now though, i wouldn’t switch career paths”.
“since i still somehow don’t have a job, it’s much cheaper to make stuff myself” she shrugs. “originally i didn’t want a job so i could put more focus into my studies, but, truthfully… i’m starting to want a job, and to move out of my parents place” she nods a bit. “ah i don’t think i know, do you live alone? or do you have roommates?”.

hyejin lets herself listen to hansol speak though it there wasn't much else she could do at this time. anything was better than her mind focusing on the increasing fear hitting her. though it didn't stop the way her eyes would widen at hearing what happened. "that sounds awful." hyejin couldn't imagine something like that happening to her especially from family. it would make her not want to be near anyone in her family ever again.
her own trauma that caused her fear of this situation was from a total accident but it's something she still thinks about to this day. it makes her want to get out of here more. she may seem calm on the outside but it's tearing her up on the inside. anything was better than being stuck in this elevator. someone had to sense something was wrong soon, right?
hyejin can't help but flinch a bit as she hears the kicks. she gets why he's acting this way. they need to get out of here and she's ready to just let the sink to her knees and give up at this point.
“my brothers used to lock me in wardrobes.” ah, yes. nothing says hello, nice to meet you than casual trauma-dumping. “you know the wooden antique ones? the ones with a latch so it couldn’t be pushed open from the inside? yeah, sometimes when they didn’t wanna hear me, they’d shove me in one of those and i’d kick and scream at it for who knows how long ‘til the housekeeper came around and found me.”
the story changes a bit every time hansol tells it. sometimes, he’s playing hide-and-seek and got trapped in a wardrobe. sometimes, it’s actually his father that threw him in. he doesn’t remember the exact details. all he knows is that it happened once, twice, several times – enough to trigger a creeping, crawling sense of dread that he’s very much trying to ignore. it doesn’t work. ignoring, that is.
“so that’s why —” hansol kicks the elevator doors again, hard. “— I CAN’T —” KICK! “— FUCKING —” KICK! “— GET STUCK —” KICK! “— IN HERE!”

hyejin was used to practicing with others with being a trainee before but that didn't stop her from pushing herself to take on practicing alone. she wanted to improve in anyway she could especially if it meant she'd get a chance to debut down the line. though she made some amazing friends with other trainees and she didn't want to lose that. sure she had times she doubted herself but it made her feel good that others came to her for help when it came to practicing in anyway. it made her feel honored that she had been at studio delta long enough to get to help out others who haven't been here as long.
she watched seira carefully, giving a smile before nodding. "it did! much better." she answers. "they are. i love getting to push my facial expressions to express whatever song i'm performing. oh? i love that though and i'm glad you get to try something new with this song." she finds herself nodding in agreement. "yeah, let's do so." she watches seira again before giving another nod. "yes, that's the part we are starting from." she lets herself get into the starting position as well, already excited to practice this again with the other girl.

now hyejin knows being a trainee can be hard. she did it before at her old company before it went under. so she was making the most of this chance that she had now. at least there were more people for her to train beside. sure she could do so with male trainees but having other girls around was a plus and not just because she easily liked being around pretty girls. she just hoped everyone stayed and got to be here alongside with her for everything. just like she hoped to be here longer to get the chance to debut one day. besides, seira is someone hyejin can see herself spending plenty of time with. not just training but also doing something outside of this. it feels nice to get along with someone this easily so she'd find anyway to spend more time with her. she smiles before nodding herself. "of course!" she lets herself do the part of the dance seira did, showing how she'd do it. she's been making sure to practice her dancing more so she hopes she's conveying how to make it more fluid for seira. "i am as well. i love getting to show my facial expression to convey the song." it lures people in from what she's learned while being a trainee and from watching a ton of idol music videos. "hmm, we can attempt without and then do so with music."
seira was happy to practice amongst others again, training by herself in her apartment had been lonely and boring. seira still practiced by herself sometimes, staying in the practice room late here and there, but she mainly practiced her rap alone, when it came to dance she liked being around others. being on next gen made her question how she ever debuted, a former idol getting that much critique? had she ever been good enough to debut? seira wasn’t sure, but she was sure that she’d practice hard now, make sure that next time she debuted she wouldn’t question if her skills were good enough for her to debut.
seira watches as hyejin does the part seira requested her to do, attempts to take in all the details, and then she copies “did it look better this time?” she questions. “facial expressions are fun, i think i’m better at facial expressions for fun and cute songs since that’s what my old group’s concept was, but it’s really exciting getting to try something new”. she nods “let’s do one first without music and then attempt to do with music”. “we’re starting from this part right?” seira moves her body to be in the position of the starting point of the choreography for oh my god’ chorus.
