Tried to get rid of some of the cc I've downloaded recently. Also made sure to check all the necessary texture memory fixes are in place. Crashing unfortunately still persists and now it got even worse as it crashes while I'm loading the house or when I simply try to use any object.

I will need more time with it, but at this point I'm starting to think the Uberhood might be slowly begging for retirement.

Just popping in to say my game crashed 4 times in a row by doing nothing taxing, so Uberhood may come to a halt or at least come later than it normally would.

It will never stop being uncomfortable for me how common it is on r/sims2 to have Alexander marry Dina as soon as he's an adult. Especially when ppl use the mods, that allow teen/adult relationships and make them develop feelings for each other when he's still in high school.

The "IT WAS ACR'S FAULT, NOT MINE! I JUST PLAYED ALONG FOR DRAMA!" excuse doesn't make it any better...

Then again r/sims2 can be a cesspool of premade "hot takes". Like the amount of times I've seen ppl hating on Mary-Sue and defending Daniel in the same breath, saying his infidelity was justified cause she worked??

Kent managed to finish his next novel by the end of the week and this time it sold significantly better than the first one. He was proud of his writing skills improving and definitely wanted to finish more books in the future.

Luna managed to keep her brother at home for the night. Betty could wait - he needed to spend more time with his little sister before he leaves.

To fully close off the round at the Curious house, Tycho applied for his scholarships and managed to snatch 4 whole prizes. This should give him a nice head start into the life at the dorm.

And with that, the Curious week is over and the next one moves to the Oldie-Capp household in Pleasantview.

Kent talked to Pascal about the fertility project Circe started. He expressed his desire to keep it going, so that innocent people don't suffer from their feud. Circe might've been a hag, but her miraculous medicine has helped a lot of couples out there already.

He mentioned talking about it to Goneril and asking her to take over, which Pascal absolutely approved. He believed Kent's older sister was a serious and trustworthy person, who could make the whole project more ethical. Plus, it would be a sweet revenge to reclaim Luna's legacy from the Beakers' hands.

They fully expected things to go easy and Loki could still go ballistic over them "stealing" his wife's research. But they were determined to see it through and stay strong together till the very end.

The family tried to have a peaceful dinner at least by the end of the week. There was too much drama lately and they just wanted to finally have their peace.

Tycho announced he'd like Luna to take over his room once he leaves for university. It was bigger than hers and she spent most of her time playing on his arcade machine anyway.

The matchmaker lady has been getting really confused these days. She showed up in the middle of the day and left a lamp for... someone (no one had the memory for it, so... invisible robot NPC perhaps?). To the treasure room it goes.

Sunday wasn't any more exciting for the family and despite great weather outside, the kids stayed at home for most of the day. Just doing their usual activities with skill building.

Luna talked to her brother about what she found out and mentioned hoping the Beakers would face justice for what they've done. Tycho knew the law wasn't exactly standing on their side, but reassured her the evil woman has been dealt with by someone he knows and looks up to.

The two reminisced about their trip to the Twikkii Island with some Hula while waiting for dinner. Luna wished she would be able to spend more time with her brother before he leaves for college.

Pascal had another one of his space trips to add for his research. He was slowly getting close to 20 abductions, but being constantly thrown around like a rag doll was starting to put a toll on him.

Kent left the others to chat and went upstairs to check on his daughter. He expected Luna to be upset and was right. He's never seen her this angry before and tried to explain they never told her about the tests, because they wanted to spare her this horrible knowledge.

Kent felt especially guilty, because he was the one who let Circe Beaker into their house. Even if he had no reason to know about how awful their neighbours are, he should've been more careful with his baby around.

They've had a heart-to-heart about the situation and once Luna seemingly calmed down, Kent couldn't help noticing the assignments she's been leaving untouched for days. Despite the groans, he offered to help her deal with all the homework.

Luna stormed off to her room and started throwing a tantrum, upset about someone experimenting on her and no one telling her about it.

Pascal returned home with his penultimate promotion into a Theorist. He knew the next step is reaching the likes of Loki Beaker and wasn't looking forward to it, but felt like resigning right now or putting his career to a halt would be a waste.

He found Kent and Goneril still discussing the medical project and finally had an opportunity to get to know Kent's oldest sister. Kent saw his daughter angrily storming off and knew they must've said too much out loud.

Kent invited his older sister over as a voice of reason in this difficult time. As a highly-positioned medical worker, she had a good insight on the whole situation with Circe and while she didn't fully believe in Kent's story about doing tests on Luna, she was standing on his side.

As much as Kent was happy about the Beaker woman being gone, he felt bad about all the people whose life could've been yet changed by her project. He thought the pregnancy cure was a great discovery and suggested to Goneril she should take over it just to preserve it.

The two didn't realize Luna heard everything they were talking about in the next room. She found out about the experiments done using her alien DNA without permission and understandably was very upset.

Tycho just couldn't wait for their time in the college together and when Pascal got more forgiving on the weekend, he invited Betty over to his place. It's not that Tycho's dads didn't like her, but the mess with the Beakers and Montys was too overwhelming these days and they just wanted to avoid unnecessary drama for 5 minutes.

Luna still wasn't thinking much about pursuing someone romantically. She enjoyed focusing on her hobbies for now.

Luna was starting to enjoy cooking things for her family. She always tried out some fun little recipes and happily making a mess in the kitchen.

Her dads or Tycho appreciated her effort and admired her enthusiasm, but honestly they knew the main reason why she wanted to cook for them was because she wanted to eat those things the most. Her plate was always finished first.

While Kent was working on his research for school, Pascal remembered he had a family and made a round calling his siblings to catch up with them.

Things were not going well with Lazlo, though. Ever since he married that suspicious girl in secrecy and started living openly with a bunch of other people, Pascal and Jenny were convinced he got dragged into a problematic company or even some kind of criminal sect-like setup. He laughed at them and claimed they're making stuff up, but they refused to listen.

Betty finally convinced Tycho to sneak out with her despite being grounded. They were almost young adults after all and Tycho couldn't stand being stuck at home every night without seeing his girlfriend.

Tycho never had problems with classes, but being so close to graduation meant twice as much work. He didn't want to leave any assignments unfinished.

Pascal could tell his son was stressed and believed there's nothing more relaxing than a few rounds in chess. Never too much exercise for your brain.

Kent skipped on cooking anything for dinner and finished the cold leftover pizza from earlier. It would be a shame to let it go to waste, though it was a rather disappointing final meal of the day.

Kent had no idea how to take care of his orchard and the trees kept dying on him, but he was stubbornly to make it work and feed his family authentic fruits.

He also started working on another novel and this time he was determined to make it sell better. He ditched child genres and tried to aim at teen and older audience.

Tycho had a friend from school coming over and while he wasn't allowed to go out, he could throw a mini-party at home with a takeout pizza.

The kid happened to be Justin Kim, who has been gaining popularity among Sim City highschoolers after moving in the area recently. Luna never watched the TV show he and his family was in years ago, so she had no idea about Justin being a former child actor and a celebrity.

Justin was getting along particularly well with Strangetown teens. Could be their familiar aesthetic to what he was used to growing up. His house was still filled up with futuristic space-themed furniture from the old show and Tycho's room just felt comforting.
