is it just me or is your hector stuck smiling

He’s got a mask he puts on while being a ‘leader’ that involves constantly smiling so he does do it by default when trying to defuse a situation. He tries to avoid smiling with he’s teeth because he knows it looks a bit freaky but if he gets stressed enough he’ll do it without realizing.
