I started playing frisbee freshman year at Knox College. After moving to Chicago I have played mixed ultimate for the past two years and now I play open. I most recently played for the Detroit Mechanix in the AUDL and Chicago Haymaker for Club, I am also a practice player for RAMP.

I'm Catherine, I'm 25, I grew up in Omaha, NE but currently live in the Kansas City area. I graduated from Missouri University of Science and Technology with degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering. I've been playing ultimate for 7 years now between college and club and outside of ultimate I enjoy soccer, books, video games, and playing music!

My name is Jesse Prichard (he/him). I'm a barista and teacher in Portland, OR. D-line cutter on a mid to low level Regionals club team. Played in high school, then stopped almost entirely for a decade. Slow learner, but I love the game. Big linguistics nerd and I co-founded a non-profit to provide job skills training to immigrants and refugees. Excited to discuss all sorts of things for the next week!

Matt Barr

Hi everyone!  My name's Matt Barr (he/him). and I'm a data scientist living just outside Washington DC.  I played in high school, college (Yale B), DC area leagues, and was a USAU observer for a few years.  At 35 now (and with two young kids) my days of playing more than the occasional game of pickup are behind me (or at least on hiatus), but ultimate is still a big part of my life (more on that this week!).  Looking forward to sharing some of my experiences and opinions and hearing your thoughts!

I helped co-captain my team to D3 nationals last year, while losing every game in the fall season, and now I'm coaching High School Ultimate! Max Schneider

Eddie Burr

Hey y’all! My name is Eddie Burr (he/him), and I’m a senior finishing up my biomedical engineering degree at Tufts University. I grew up on a small farm in Sharon, Massachusetts where I was lucky enough to start playing ultimate my freshman year at our public high school. I’ve been a captain of the Tufts BMEN (or eboys) for the past two years, and I’ve dabbled in BUDA summer open, RIPUL mixed, and any random pickup games I can get my hands on. I can’t wait to talk about the college dev frisbee scene as we have metro boston sectionals this weekend! Also, stay tuned for some non-frisbee content as I blab about 3D printing, biology/nature, photography, music, and all things in between :)

Lev Gerstle

Hi y'all! My name is Lev Gerstle. I'm 29 and I've been playing ultimate since my freshman year of college. I currently live in Hawai'i, but I've bounced around and also lived/played ultimate in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Australia. My ultimate highlights include being the B-team captain for Dickinson College, founding the first club team from Hawai'i to compete in the series in 11 years, and most recently serving as one of the mixed coordinators for Kaimana Klassik. Outside of ultimate I'm a marine biologist working on some projects for the City and County of Honolulu. Excited to spend this week talking about D3 ultimate supremacy, conspiracy theories, Jewish holidays, brain surgery, and anything else that happens to pop into my head. Denis Cha

Hi everyone! My name is Denis (he/him) and I'm a MMP that grew up playing in the Boston area, and now I'm a freshman at Wesleyan University. I started playing in middle and high school in Arlington MA, and I'm very grateful to have grown up in a community with so many youth frisbee opportunities. I think it's really important for frisbee teams at every level to have active participation in ensuring equity and promotion of the sport, as well as focusing on a positive and non toxic environment. I'm also a film and computer science double major, although I know very little about either one of those topics.

Hi everyone! My name is Cole Davis and I am a senior studying elementary education at the University of Iowa! I’ve been playing ultimate since my junior year of high school and am currently one of the captains for Iowa IHUC. I’m really looking forward to talking about what my life is like and being to interact with the frisbee community!

Rohin Balkundi

Im Rohin (He/him). I played for Texas - B (Big Cows) in college, dabbled around with messengers in club, and currently coach the Men's B team at George Washington University. Outside of frisbee I am a first year law student at GW (go <insert random team name here>). Outside of frisbee and law school I am a religious sports viewer (I will be live tweeting test cricket and soccer, sorry not sorry) and been trying to enjoy physical activity outside of ultimate. 

Hopefully we have a fun week mixed with serious discussions about our sport and some lighthearted banter about how arsenal is at the top of the league.
