I had a crazy hard time deciding which photos of this remarkably beautiful high structure storm to share with you guys. It’s rare a storm of this type holds its shelf cloud over 40-50k in such perfect shape. It never got tornado warned but watching it spin in the notch I think it should have been.

Its My Turn
I've been on the sidelines of everyone else’s, lives watching them go through their successes and its been amazing and so inspiring but I’ve always asked myself, when is that going to happen to me? I want to make this life as unique to my name as I can, I aspire to do everything that I have ever dreamed of. I want to build the life I love, that is something that has been preached to me time and time again but I still only imagine. I cannot wait to move onto a new career where I am challenged in different ways than I have ever thought of. I am so eager to move out of the town where I have never felt enough independence to leave but have always had the fascination to get out of. New people, things, and a new place is what my mind and heart need; its an amazing feeling when you can picture and see yourself changing into a completely new person while watching yourself grow. To see your desires and ambitions change based on your new outlook on life, I don’t think that depression had a huge role in how I used to feel but, I think that sitting around waiting for life to come get you is a treacherous path to walk on. Life waits for no one and when you don’t go out and get what you want, you will see opportunity after opportunity pass you by. So here is to the next few months... a new year, a new home, new surroundings, new people, a new mindset, and a new path. May the next endeavors be the best ones yet, Na Zdrowie!

What happens when your best friend moves 9,386 miles away...
To make a long list short, life happens -I’m not here to make the short list though. Something that I think a lot of people take for granted is the people around them in their everyday life. Sure, I had my best friend with me nearly everyday but, you never truly realize how much of a best friend someone is until you no longer have that role in your life. You take for granted all of the late night drives, drunken nights, mid-afternoon Biggby runs, and everything in between. You learn much more about yourself than you ever imagined was possible, because now you are alone, and you have to learn how to be okay with that. While learning to be okay with things by yourself you take more risks, because what do you have to lose? You try going on drives by yourself but you learn that they are boring with no one there to talk to. You think about going to a concert by yourself because you know well enough that a concert is what you need to cure your “middle of the winter sadness phase” but you’re not at that point yet, but hopefully, maybe, one day. Maybe you talk to that cute guy at work or the cute guy at the bar, maybe not in hopes for one short night or even a long term thing, but in hopes that this person who you think you have so much in common with will be just like the girl who lives 9,386 miles away -in the shortest distance. Let me tell you that you will keep searching, and searching ...and searching, until one day you find exactly what you need. That one thing that you have spent the last four months looking for was in you the whole time, you find your independence. With your independence you find that you can have other people in your life and that you need to stop pushing away everyone who isn’t that girl on the other side of the world. You realize that any guy you meet at the bar will never be the right one, and the cute guy at work will become the closest thing to a best friend you have but its still not enough. One day you wake up and realize that you haven't been doing any of the things you love. So you decide to try things out again, you chase the storm, you write the blog, you pick up the guitar again. Still, your best times are with your best friend, but moping around feeling sorry for yourself will only make you more depressed. Do the little things that make you happy even when you think you are at the end of your rope. It’s okay to be sad that you don’t have your best friend with you, just don’t add to that sadness by not doing what you want to do. Live your life to the fullest and bring yourself as much happiness as you can create.

I am so unbelievably proud of everything that you have accomplished this far in your life. You are one of the most spirited and goal oriented people I know. When you are away please don’t lose touch of who you are. When you come back I want you to keep moving forward in your life. Get out and chase your dreams; be smart, kind, happy, responsible, and independent, have fun, be strong, and be yourself. You are so deep and in touch with your emotions, I want you to share your life and goals and dreams with everyone around the world. You want so much for yourself, and you are just starting to realize that you can achieve anything that you want. I want you to come home and tell me that you actually had the time of your life.
