The Arts

We encourage creativity and self-expression, choice-art plays a very big role in our utopia. If the art is hateful, make it tasteful. Life imitates art, art imitates life, because life is art and art. is life We will encourage art and offer art to anyone that is interested.

 In elementary, children will be exposed to all kinds of creative outlets. By the time you get to middle, you can choose the kind of creative or opt out of creative altogether. We won't distinguish between serious and entertainment art. Part of the point is: art is entertainment.

 Amatuer vs pro is determined strictly off of skill, not off of experience or longevity. Classes may not be available to all, but that does not make them any less professional. Art as a profession cannot be determined by the utopian. Your exposure and support is dependent on your effort and your amount of self-exposure. There will be no censorship of art. The government cannot censor anything, if the parent or child does not want to view it, that is their decision.

The Physical

The architecture in the center modern, post-industrial, Dubai-ish, real baller lookin. More rural architecture is on the outskirts, so that they have room for their practices All sturdy, hefty, sustainable materials found in Atlanta are what our buildings are made of. We will also use recyclable materials is they withstand the weather patterns of the area Sustainability and eco-friendliness are what determines the materials for the infrastructure. We have a medium population density because we don't want the issues that go along with overpopulation, but don't want to limit diversity with too small of a cap off Urban, rural-ness is on the outskirts for max space.

 Public transportation, carpool systems, and cars are permitted We encourage any kind of transportation that is eco-friendly. Personal transportation must follow our natural resource conservation guidelines.

 We manage sewage through an intense recycle system. Fecal matter is piped to a storage area where it used as compost (the button on the toilets will determine the piping). Things that you own are considered private, where the owner places the timing restrictions on them. After those hours, they are technically deemed as public property We will have houses that are considered private property, they can (but do not have to) contain the facilities listed. However, it is preferred to ease the living and follow the living standards It will have a combo of the kinds of dining facilities Noise pollution should be handled by the consent of the person in questions neighbors.

Food

Food choices are made based on the person. There will be a large scale farm that people can work on in order to provide produce. People can have small garden for themselves but not to sell the produce, so that it does infringe on the purpose of the large scale farm. Pesticides only when absolutely necessary, other chemical growth substances will not be needed due to the compost system.

Animals

Animals used for meat consumption (pig, cow, chicken, lamb, goat, ) will be raised for slaughter free range; however, not all will be raised for slaughter, a percentage will have to roam free. The free range system will be used for meat, only animals where the entire/most of the animal can be used will determine the kind of use. 

Our utopia allows hunting of all free-roaming animals during hunting season with restrictions. If the animal is hunted, it must be eaten and/or used, it cannot be hunted strictly for sport. Animals will not be used as test subjects. All domesticated forms of animals can be pets only after a home inspection to ensure the home is sustainable to properly take care of the pet. All exotic and endangered animals cannot be pets because they must be preserved, and our utopia will not have the proper environment to take care of those kinds of animals under captivity.

Health & Medicine

We will use both alternative and western medicine forms. Some hospitals will specialize only in western medicine, and some will specialize only in alternative medicine. There will be an even distribution of both so that way the patient will have an equal opportunity to receive whichever kind of treatment they prefer. 

Preventative medicines will play a big role, however getting them is a choice, not a force. Everyone will have equal access to medicine because the right to medicine and health care is, to us, a basic human right. Mental illness and all of their ethical treatments will be covered in the insurance (therapy, specialized housing, etc). Psychiatric drugs will be distributed in the minimum dosage in order to minimize addiction. Euthanasia is consented based on their sound-mindedness. The minimum age for this practice is 18.

Media

All kinds of media are allowed without censorship. Viewing of the media is the person's and parent's choice. The government does not own or control the media. Media corporations are started and funded by choice. There will be no media censorship. Participation in the media is open to all based on their desire and choice to be a part of it.

Alcohol & Other Drugs

Alcohol is permitted, but with restricted. Bartenders can only give a certain amount of a drink based on its alcohol potency, and stores can only allow 3 cases of any kind of packaged alcohol. Alcohol can be legally drunk at 18. 

Tobacco is allowed in its raw, purest form. Cigarettes are banned. Marijuana is allowed. Legal smoking age is 18-ish. Only drugs (besides prescriptions) that can be grown are allowed. You cannot drive under any of these influences.

Anti-social Behavior & Conflict Resolution

Those who hurt others will have a speedy and fair trial. Detected mental disorders will result in psychiatric care. Other reasoning will result in placement of The Abyss. Self-destructive behaviors will be handled as stated above. 

Conflicts between individuals will be handled in peoples court. It they cannot be handled there: “We don't have time for this, go to The Abyss”.Our Private-mediation will be used. Guns will only be used for hunting and jobs that require it (i.e, police officers) Only basic guns will be allowed (i.e, pistols, shotguns, etc). Regular citizens can have one only after a deep, deep, extensive psychological test.

Military & War

Our utopia tries to limit and prevent war. We are neutral. Citizens cannot break out a war, we abolish war.

 Our utopia has a back-up self-defense force, but it is not a forefront priority and will not take up much of our funding. Our army will be organized traditionally and strictly on a volunteer basis. Hierarchy is determined based on both experience and the amount of leadership courses taken.

  Our weapons are stored in a vault and have a system defense group that will only enable access to the military grade weapons if absolutely necessary based on discussion and a common consensus amongst government. Nuclear weapons are banned because they cause an excess of unnecessary damage and harm civilians with their range of danger.

Goals & Values

In Bel Regno we value freedom and ensure acceptance to all. We value equity. One of our greatest values is peace and neutrality.

 Bel Regno also supports all types of creativity. Bel Regno’s overall goal is to be the most liberal and accepting society we can be. Our ideology is to do what you wish, so your ideology is our ideology. All that we ask is that no one harm or murder any other citizen in the name of what they believe in, for, in context, this should never have to be the case.

Power & Politics

Our government is based on Greek democracy, because we value representation. We will have a 2 party system: Democratic and Republican. Our government and leaders are comprised of a mix of members with a political background (Political Science), financial background (Economics and Business), and regular citizens.

 These leaders will be selected by the people by voting. Our government is based on giving laws and the people following them. (If you break one, you will be put under trial, which will then determine if an eviction is the proper judgement).

 The people will present a problem or recommendation to the government. The government will formulate a proposal and on voting day (which happens every month) the people will vote. Urgent cases come first! Our written agreement is in a form of the United States’ Bill of Right. We will explicitly state all rights of the citizens in order to protect them from the government. If a leader abuses their power, they will be tried and evicted out of Bel Regno.

Economics, Work, & Leisure

Bel Regno absolutely values and supports side or full-time creative pursuits. As an adult it’s up to the person to choose if they do or don’t want to set aside time for this.

Bel Regno only produces what we need. We will receive exports from other utopias and use a trade system with other countries. Citizens would work at factories and farms and we will have technology as well to produce. Factories, Farms, etc. will maintain safe and sanitary conditions to ensure worker conditions are a forefront priority.

Bel Regno uses money to buy. However, in the case you have no money, the system of trade may be used as a substitute. Workers will be paid money based on what you need and the amount of hours you work for. Workers who work in dangerous conditions will be guaranteed full covering health insurance.

Services and goods are only given for what you need to live comfortably. In the case of parasitism, the parasite will be evicted. People will choose their job based on their passion and their preference. They must meet all qualifications of the job (Education if needed).

People may buy and own private property. In the case they cannot afford private property, the government will help them to advance onto private property.

Bel Reinians will work based on the amount of time their job requires. However, a typical day is 8 hrs./day. Our members will be of equal class:upper-middle. No one will be extremely poor or extremely rich, and no one will live on or below the poverty line, for we feel that jobs can always be created.

Sex, Sex Roles, & Gender Difference

Men and Women will live in unison in Bel Regno. Men and Women will have equal roles in the community. We are not gender biased.

Nuclear families will be kept, but not enforced. Marriage will also be kept. The people may choose who conducts the ceremony (through government or religion). There will be no different rights or obligations between married people or single. Equality is kept no matter what. Gay marriages are allowed and accepted.

Abortion will be allowed on demand. It would be the woman’s choice. Men will not have a choice, because it is the woman’s body, so it is her choice.

With sex ed, students will be exposed to all STD’s and learn about them. Condoms will be free and we will encourage protected sex. Treatments and medicine will also be free to people with a STD. We do not restrict youthful sexual experimentation, however we do fully encourage and enforce safe and consenting sex.

Bel Rengo addresses problems of sexual jealousy and possessiveness privately. We will give the couple therapy and inform them on healthy relationships. If the couple is continuously having or giving problems to the community, an eviction will be a possible choice to make.

Religion

Sectoral religious separation would be implemented to encourage self-choice and promote public comfort for those who don't worship. Religion is a choice, it should not be forced down anyone's throats nor should the right not to worship be forced upon anyone. Our utopia allows as many religions as the citizens desire. Restrictions are placed upon religions that promotes the harm of self, others, or animals, and pain and suffering cannot be brought about in the name of your religion in public.

If religious persecution occurs, those who practice it will be put out of the utopia (THE ABYSS), if you cannot practice your religion and if you cannot accept others.

Cults and gurus are accepted as long it follows our religious acceptance guidelines. This includes The Illuminati and Satanism.

Our utopia will have rituals and celebrations.The utopia will come together three times a year: New Years, The Hump (a middle of the year celebration), and Founders day. All other ones can occur based on social beliefs and religious beliefs.

Religious ceremonies can occur in public as long as they follow our religious guidelines. Religion can be implemented into daily life as they citizens so please, it does not have to be practiced by all.

Sex and religion is deemed by the citizens as they please, the beliefs on sex should follow our utopia sexual guidelines of science.

Religious hierarchies are determined by the religion. The leaders should acquire the degrees needed as well as extensive leadership courses in order to become a leader; once the degrees are attained, then the selective community can vote on those who intend to be leaders.

Religion and science relationship is determined by the person’s age, the religious guidelines have to be taken into consideration as well as the need of the person at hand. If you cannot grow the drug, you cannot use it, unless it is needed for health benefits, and other drugs cannot be made from the prescription drugs. IF YOU CAN’T GROW IT YOU CAN’T SMOKE IT!!!

We support new reproductive technology in order to expand birthing possibilities, decrease birth defects/complications, and allow for the infertile to have children. It will only be used for good, not for the corrupt. (i.e: Those who have birth complications and family history of birth defects)

Technology cannot be used to dictate sex, it can only be used to target certain gender specific ailments. The process will be that the woman checks for the diseases once she knows the baby’s sex, and then if some are found, the parents have the right to choose whether or not to have it corrected before the baby comes out of the womb.

Dictating anything that is not related to targeting and fixing diseases is not permitted (i.e, eye color, sex, etc.)

Cloning is only permitted when needed, i.e. medicinal cloning (organs for transplant).

Certified and ethically checked scientists and doctors are allowed to practice cloning for the good of the utopia, not for selfish reasons.

DNR is not permitted until after 75 unless the reason of death is self-inflicted past the age of 18. Natural deaths have right to DNR past 75

No life extension techniques because of the need to regulate population in the most natural way possible.

Space exploration is encouraged for benefit of the utopia but not at the expense of space (i.e. no nuclear and toxic waste is needed).
