Women: Why do men spit in public?
Men: Where ELSE should we spit? On you??? Do you want us to spit on YOU!?! Alright, FINE.
Women: A teenage girls bra strap shouldn't be a reason to send her home.
Men: Okay. Okay, alright. Alright, okay, okay. Well why don't I just PULL MY DICK OUT IN CLASS THEN!?!?
Women: A person should have the right to an abortion.
Men: Ohhhhh women want abortions! Well men should be able to rape them, that seems like the logical equivalent of this situation.
Women: Women need to defend themselves from violent men.
Men: Oh, what, you can hit me but I can't hit you!? why CAN'T I hit you? WHEN can I hit you??? Tell me when I can hit you, please. I want to know. I need to know.
Women: Men overreact a lot.
Men: WHOA. Why would you go there? Why do you generalize all men like that? I feel so attacked. This is so hurtful.
Men: This is why no one likes feminists.

boys will go around judging girls if their asses and boobs aren’t exactly to their liking but the moment a girl isn’t impressed by their 4 inch dick they’re being “oppressed” and “have to conform to ridiculous standards”

Me: *waiting for drink in Starbucks*
Me: *putting on makeup*
Guy: You know nice guys don't like when girls wear so much makeup.
Me: *without looking up* Nice guys like you?
Guy: Well, yea.
Me: Have you ever considered that's why we wear it?
Girl behind me: *spits out coffee laughing*
Guy: Um.
Me: *deadpan look* Nice girls like me don't give a fuck what you like.

i wish men understood that when women are talking about feminism and rape culture and shit, it’s not just a political conversation. it’s not about being a “social justice warrior” or whatever. it’s about our actual lives being shaped by misogyny since childhood, and the daily reality of living in fear of violence. this isn’t a fucking game or philosophical debate. this is our fucking lives.

we’ve taught girls to romanticise nearly everything a boy does. when i was younger i thought it was cute that boys chased the girl even after she said no. i loved it when after a girl moved away from a kiss, the guy would pull her back and force it on. i thought a guy saying ‘i won’t take a no for an answer’ was passionate and romantic. we’re literally always teaching girls to romanticise abusive traits.

Girls get mocked for liking high heels and lipstick. Girls get mocked for liking sports. Girls get mocked for liking tea and books. Girls get mocked for liking comics books and video games. Girls get mocked for liking math and science. Girls get mocked for liking boys. Girls get mocked for liking girls. Girls get mocked for liking both. What the fuck are we supposed to like? Water? Air? Come on, tell me. I’m dying to know.

straight guys be like “I want a girl with bangin DD’s, a tiny waist, flat belly, a nicki minaj ass, no cellulite, wears makeup but not too much and has long silky perfect hair” but straight girls say “idk I prefer tall guys but I’m open to anyone I’m attracted to” and we’re the shallow ones

Some ticks carries a disease, so we’re supposed to avoid them all.
Some sharks bite people, so we’re supposed to always be cautious in the ocean.
Some snakes are venomous, so if you can’t decide whether it’s deadly or not, assume deadly.
But no, not all men.

I feel like whenever women complain about men, they speak about things that men have done to them.
However when men complain about women, they speak about things that women HAVEN’T done FOR them.
I think that’s an important distinction.
