Santiago X reader: the wilted flower

As soon as I brush my hair late at night I feel a cold breeze on my neck and I thought to myself that I might be dreaming. Later on, I head to bed and I go to sleep.

As soon as I go to sleep, I feel the cold air again as my bedroom window is open and I hear faint whispers calling out my name.

“You’re not real, you’re not real.” I muttered to myself. As I try to lock the door, I see a very tall man with menacing green eyes stare at me deeply.

“Oh my-,” I gasp until he covers my mouth.

“Your (H/C) is the most beautiful thing on earth, you remind me of a daffodil.” The mysterious man chuckled.

“Why are you here? state your business.” I asked as I put my robe on.

“Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Santiago.” The man announced as he bowed dramatically.

“Get out, get out at once!” I yelled until he used his powers to lock the door in my room.

“Where are you going my little dove?” Santiago asked theatrically as he gave her a toothy grin.

“Leave me alone at-, what are you doing!?” I gasp as I felt my knees buckle until I got to the nearest chair by my vanity.

“Don’t fight it, listen to the sound of my voice.” Santiago purred deeply. All I wanted to do right now was run fast but I couldn’t. I was trapped like a fly in a spider’s web and my mind all of a sudden went blank.

“Let go!” I yelled as I tried to resist his mind control.

“Don’t fight it, you’re safe with me.” He whispered once more until my arms went numb and I fell in his arms.

“Please, no.” I muttered until I fell deep into his arms. As I fell into his arms, I felt him carry me away from my room while my mind was completely blank.

*time skip*

“Drink beloved, drink right now.” He growled as he gave me his wrist to drink from.

As he gave me his wrist, I started to drink deeply as my eyes started to roll to the back of my head and my metamorphosis from human to vampire began. My human DNA was now being replaced with vampire DNA and I could feel my (E/C) turn into a deep menacing color that wasn’t human at all.

“Mirror, please give me a mirror.” I croaked out as Armand who was the leader of the Thèâtre des vampires handed me a hand held mirror for me to look at myself.

“Oh my goodness is this what I look like?” I gasped in wonder at my yellow eyes and sharp fangs.

“Yes (Y/N), think of your transformation as a rebirth now that the old you is gone.” Armand said as he saw how you put the mirror down.

“I feel so replenished and refreshed!” I growled as I stretched like a panther.

“I’m so glad!” Santiago smiled as he picked me up and twirled me around.

*time skip*

After I got back from a hunt with Santiago, Armand, and the rest of the Thèâtre des vampires, Santiago decided to carry me to a supply room and drag his lower lip down my neck.

“Oh!” I moaned as he proceeded to play with some of my hair strands.

“Thank god that Eglee has agreed to share me with you.” Santiago purred as he then proceeded to kiss me on the lips.

“Maître thank you for the hunt.” I whispered as Santiago proceeded to kiss me more.

“Oh anytime!” He sighed happily knowing that he has forever taken great pride in having me be turned by Armand and the entire Thèâtre des vampires.

Day 12: Ice Skating / Merry & Bright / Wrapped with a Bow

Final head cannon of this challenge: In France, Claudia, Louis, and Madeleine decide to go skating together during Christmas and they have a secret Santa with each other by exchanging some gifts and baking cookies.

Day 11: Carriage Ride / Mass / Santa's Little Helper

Head cannon: Claudia and Louis go to Christmas mass in church after they escaped Lestat and so they have a chance to reconnect with one another by going on a carriage ride through the French quarter as they look at the beautiful Christmas decorations.

Day 10: FREE DAY @vamptember

Christmas mayhem.

~Paris, France 1946~

As Louis and Claudia were in their small Paris apartment drinking hot chocolate and decorating their Ginger bread houses, Santiago and the rest of the Thèâtre des Vampires were spying on them in disgust.

“Look at them enjoying their boring holiday festivities instead of hunting for humans.” Santiago sneered while the other vampires were watching them from afar.

“I’m Claudia, I hate being Baby Lulu so much, I’m just going to do typical activities that kids would usually do on Christmas and not go hunt like other vampires even though I want to be taken seriously by the coven!” Estelle mocked as she was imitating Claudia in a high pitched tone.

“Now my fledglings, I understand being angry at vampires that don’t want to hunt, but shouldn’t we spread some holiday cheer?” Santiago asked mischievously.

“Maître, what do you mean?” Romaine asked as he glared at Santiago in the dark winter streets of Paris.

“Remember our little mansion outting?” Santiago asked as he addressed the other vampires.

“Yeah why?” Gustave asked as he was warming himself up.

“There’s a little charity event going on around here so let’s spread some holiday cheer.” Santiago grinned evilly as he was gathering the other vampires in a circle on what their Christmas get together will be like.

~time skip~

“Mommy, Daddy, Santa’s being mean to me!” An eight year old boy yelled as he stomped over to his mother and father who were talking to each other.

“Ho, ho, ho! Your son is crazy! I’m not being mean to him!” Santiago laughed heavily as he was disguised as Santa after he and the rest of the vampires broke into the mansion.

“Mommy, Mrs. Claus is also being mean to me and she has weird eyes!” The boy yelled again as he pointed to a disguised Eglee who was also dressed as Mrs. Claus.

“Hugo, enough! You are being very mean to Santa and Mrs. Claus! Go apologize to them at once!” The boy’s mother yelled as she made her son apologize.

“Yes Hugo, listen to your Maman, because you’ve been a very naughty boy!” Santiago chuckled darkly as he slowly took off the Santa beard and costume.

“What’s going on?” Hugo’s father asked as Santiago and later Eglee took off their costumes and cornered him, his wife, and son.

“We’re just spreading some holiday cheer.” Eglee giggled evilly.

All of a sudden, Eglee and Santiago decided to drain the family one by one while Romaine, Sam, and Gustave shoved the giant Christmas tree, the rest of the coven drained the guests, and Celeste, Estelle, Merde’em, Planche, and Gustave broke the ice sculptures and windows while Basilic, Luchenbaum, Tuan, and Quang Pham broke the ice sculptures and drained more guests once again.

Later on, Santiago and Eglee meet up with the others and just like on their first hunt with Louis and Claudia, they light the mansion on fire and ride off into the night on their motorcycles.

“Merry Christmas Everyone!” Santiago cackled.

“Merry Christmas!” The other vampires cackled back.

“Joy to the world the savior reigns, Let men their

songs employ,

While fields and floods rocks hills and plains!

Repeat the sounding joy,

Repeat the sounding joy,

Repeat, repeat the sounding joy!!!” Santiago sang as the others were laughing evilly as they kept on riding their motorcycles throughout the night.

“We own the night and no one can stop us!” Santiago cackled as the others joined in on this eventful Christmas night.

Day 9: Ugly Christmas Sweater / Candy Canes / Winter Solstice

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you’re all spending some time with your family or some loved ones on your life! Even though I’m trying to make up some days that I missed I’m doing this all for a fandom that I have been part of since last year! Anyway I hope you all enjoy this one shot! @vamptember

~Dubai, 2024~

“Louis Mon Cher, why are you making me and Daniel wear these things?” Lestat asked in disgust as he was tugging on the ugly sweater that he was wearing.

“Louis can you tell him to lighten up a little? It’s the spirit of Christmas!” Daniel yelled from across the room as he wore a reindeer headband.

“Lestat just enjoy it for a bit, just trust me!” Louis smiled as he, Lestat, and Daniel were throwing themselves an ugly sweater Christmas party.

~time skip~

“Louis Mon amour these candy canes are magnifique!” Lestat squealed as he was sucking on one of the candy canes that Daniel brought in.

“You’re welcome blondie!” Daniel said as he was sucking on them.

“You can thank Daniel because while we don’t depend on human food to survive, we can enjoy some little sweets once in a while.” Louis chuckled lightly as he sucked on them too.

As the three vampires were enjoying their candy canes, they knew that their Christmas would be a great one and nothing could get in their way.
