Okay Codz community zine when guys!!!!?!??!?

Weird 4am thoughts?

Sometimes I wish zombies had a massive art community. It's amazing that: this is a game that sells millions of copies netting billions of dollars, but there are only 5 active artists at any given time. And forget about fanfic (though there's finally been some great ones lately!)

Thing is, it's a selfish wish. It's mostly because I've always wanted to go to cons and share my art at a table. Or, to be able to find fan-made zombie stuff at an artist alley in general. I just want to make things ok!! I want to make mousepads and keychains and pins with the boys!!... Alas, with the niche state of the community, it is financial suicide to commit to that.

Don't misunderstand though, wanting to table isn't financially motivated. If I wanted to sell at cons so bad, I could draw fanart for anything popular (nevermind my lack of technical skill and my sub-par talent). However, I genuinely don't have fun drawing anything else.

...I don’t know. I just wish zombies could be enjoyed the same way other communities are enjoyed. I want to be able to lay down for bed to a new fic every night. I want zines and collabs and etsy stores. I want to play touys with more people. I wish it didn't sound so selfish, but I just really really love zombies. I know small communities have their perks.

Amazing that this codz drought is eternal, but ghost/soap is literally in the top 100 for fics uploaded to ao3 EVERY YEAR. WHY DO THEY HAVE ALL THE FUN!! AND GOD DAMN THE FANART GAME. FUJOS COME SAVE CODZ PLEASE

I remember when I first got into Codz I SCOURED the internet for remnants of a fandom, and only found it here on Tumblr. I love the little bit of media I’ve seen and we do get. A small little community project like a zine would be SO cool and fun, maybe someday we can hope for more 😭

I really love variety in shipping and although my fave is RiDe I do enjoy variety! Shipping is all about fun. But with that being said I’m not well acquainted in their dynamic, but they’re cute.
