waking up first while next to warren is a double edged sword. on one hand, nathan enjoys the tranquility of watching someone, who is usually very animated, be at peace in his presence. on the other hand, he hates how at peace he is. he hates how he wishes he could immortalize warren's soft features while he sleeps without feeling dirty—as if photographing warren would leave the same stain on him that nathan left on his other "muses."
