It's funny, despite having both a 3DS and a Wii U since there launch in 2011 and 2012, I NEVER used Miiverse! And no, it wasn't because of how Miiverse was, for lack of a better term, a wasteland of bad and questionable posts or anything. I didn't even know about that side of Miiverse until AFTER the servers shut down in 2017 but even then that sort of shit is sadly common on all kinds of Social Media sites. No, the real reason I never used Miiverse was because... I just didn't have any real reason or motivation two. That's it! No deep or personal reason at all for this one. Oh sure, I'm pretty sure I made like one or two posts while it was still active and one of my favourite Super Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS stages was even the Miiverse stage but outside of that, I never used it.

Now though, with me having hacked my Wii U and 3DS late last year and creating a Pretendo account to not only accommodate Nintendo officially shutting down the Nintendo Network for those systems but also re-activating many of those consoles long dead features I have actually been using Miiverses replacement Juxdaposition A LOT more than I thought I would. Like as in I actually WANT to post stuff on there and I have been a fair amount. It's kinda wired how this whole thing has turned out honestly.

I just remembered something recently. The movie Speed canonically exists in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie universe. And Sonic in this universe knows who Keanu Reeves is. And Shadow in the third movies going to be played by Keanu.

Sonic is DEFIENTLLY going to comment on that and make a joke if Shadow can stop bullets or if he's a dog person! SEGA, you owe me a new Sonic Storybook game if I'm right!

According to some friends on Discord there's apparently some places in Japan rumoured to starting to experiment with people getting jobs as living mannequin complete with hypnotising them into making them think they are actually mannequins. 👀

And also a hypnosis cafe in some district in Tokyo. Pair those with the Latex cafes I knew were also a thing a few years ago and I suddenly REALLY want to visit Japan now! More than I already wanted to already!

I'm usually pretty lucky when it comes to random friend requests on Nintendo system specifically since I've never actually gotten any random requests on either my Wii U, 3DS or Switch as far as I remember.

...On OFFICAL Nintendo servers at least. Because guess who loaded up there Wii U this afternoon, swapped to Pretendo servers and found a random friend request from someone I've never played or interacted with before? REALLY hope that's not a sign of things to come with my Pretendo account.

I just learnt of a new recent trend where people are using AI to put a "PS2 Filter" over photos. Yay...😒

Look, I have a lot of nostalgia towards the early 2000's as well, it was the decade I grew up in after all, but not so much to the point where I'd want to use AI to give some random photos PS2 graphics that, because it's AI, ends up having a lot of issue anyway and is likely being built of stolen works anyway.

If I want to turn myself into a PS2 character that badly, I'd rather just comm an actual artist to draw my sona as a PS2 model. Or better yet, actually load up my copies of Tony Hawk Underground 2 or SoulCalibur 3 and create myself!

In hindsight, I'm pretty sure Bionicle had a hand in me getting a love for hypnosis and mind control looking back. Mainly with the Krana, the Paraka's Zamor Launchers and Takadox canonically having hypnosis.
