🦢 — what’s a petty argument you’d have with your f/o?

for wildfire, hmmm… i’d say it would be in relation to how reckless artemis can be. they’re too willing to throw away their life, and although venti is always there to save them, he still gets worried yk 🤕 esp since they’re just a mortal. other than that, they have had a pretty huge fight before - mostly in regards to how emotionally repressed venti can be… artemis tries their best to be patient ofc but sometimes their temper gets to them 😔 and venti usually keeps his emotions in check and doesn’t get mad easily, but artemis can DEF push his buttons when it comes to his trauma and stuff lol. let’s just say u don’t wanna witness a usually even tempered and carefree god get upset at their lover

for fyreflower… SIGHS HEAVILY. they’ve gotten into many fights 😭 usually it’s about how dahlia doesn’t wanna be seen with a giant mecha LMAOO. in her words, she “has a reputation to uphold” and “can’t allow the paparazzi to see her like this” 😭 although dal doesn’t care for her reputation (sometimes), she cares about her privacy and if she’s out and about in penacony, she doesn’t want anyone seeing her with ppl she holds dear (for both hers and their privacy). aside from that, they fight over dal’s makeup bc firefly likes to use it - and dal is NAWT having it bc her makeup and dresses and everything r HERS alone. she’s very possessive when it comes to things she owns (due to some traumatic stuff that happened when she was a child)

🍡 — what nicknames do you have for each other?

for wildfire, we have a few cute ones!!! artemis calls venti “songbird,” “liebling” (‘darling’ in german), and “love.” venti calls them “schatz” (‘treasure’ in german) and “muse.” a nickname directly taken from artemis’ name would be “emi,” though it’s scarcely used

for fyreflower, they’re a bit old school and not that big on nicknames haha! firefly uses “dal” as a nickname a lot bc it sounds like “doll”! not only that, but it’s directly taken from dahlia’s name! dahlia isn’t big on nicknames or petnames, but when she does use them, she calls firefly “sweetheart” or “darling”

🪼 — what’s your favorite way to feel closer to your f/o?

DEF reading character studies or listening to music that reminds me of them! one of my fav venti fics is called “it’s just witness-less me” and it’s about the nameless bard coming back to life thru the leylines and him and venti reunite and i just ADORE how the writer wrote venti. it’s very special to me.

i don’t have a venti playlist, but i DO have one of him and catalina and usually that’s the one i listen to! i also go thru his voicelines sometimes or watch playthroughs of past mond events (mainly weinlesefest). OR i go thru every piece of lore he’s in - so weapon lore, his character stories, in-game books, etc.

a lone cd shop owner who was unable to attend university resents their high school sweetheart for dropping out. now, they’re both trying to pick up the pieces of their shattered relationship.

“you know you aren’t supposed to be bothering me mid-shift, right?” they raised a brow, sending him an accusatory glare.

he giggled and hopped onto the counter, gently pushing their bangs away from their eyes. “but i’m bored! and have nothing else to do!”

they sighed heavily, turning back to the book in their hands. “well maybe you should’ve thought of that before you dropped out of college and moved back home.”

it went silent for a moment. venti’s hand stilled as he pouted. “come now… you’re still mad?”

“what do you think?”

“i’ll make it up to you,” his words were quiet, sincere, “i promise.”

venti would buy me fidget toys. he notices i always have to be doing smth bc of my adhd and would buy me a bunch

artemis doesnt find out abt venti’s identity as the anemo archon until they get a serious injury on the battlefield and he comes to their rescue in his archon form. and in their hazy, drowsy state, they see his form and immediately connect the dots. and then ofc venti being venti, he tries to deflect, but artemis knows what they saw. and so he’s left with no choice but to admit he’s the anemo archon

thinking abt the lore universe of tr and how wildfire would be on opposing sides bc artemis would be a yellow faction member who has gone thru hell and back bc of red + green faction and ended up in the null a few times, and venti is a keeper who’s been trying to prevent artemis from ever going back to the null by making deals with them to keep them out of harm’s way. but it never works

venti + artemis

college dropout and local girlfailure pays a visit to a nightclub, totally unaware that the person she flirts with incessantly under blinding lights and blaring music will end up in her bed the next morning. amidst panic and self deprecation, they soon come to the conclusion that this isn’t the worst choice they’ve ever made. it’s quite the opposite, in fact, as it leads down a road of healing and picking up an old profession she once put to rest.

idk if i mentioned it before here or if i only kept it in dms with yuomi, but artemis would def be released as a playable character after the events of 5.6. they’d be the signature 5* of the dornman port expansion, or just the entirety of northeastern mondstadt in general. their story quest would be PACKED to the brim with lore, too.

i also think it would be funny if venti just shows up at one point while the traveler is talking with artemis, and the two of them have a silly little argument, and that’s how the traveler finds out venti has mad game LMAOOOO

wildfire will never get married and here’s why!

artemis finds the concept of marriage pointless. they think it’s useless to go through with the entire ceremony and everything fancy. they also think marriage isn’t needed, bc u don’t need to go through with something so ornate to prove ur love for someone.

“why not just skip a ceremony then?” u may ask… well! that’s bc artemis is fully against marriage as a whole! they were originally arranged to marry another mondstadt aristocrat, and that entire experience left a bad taste in their mouth. they never fully married the person, but the engagement took such an awful mental toll that they swore off marriage (there’s more details, but they’re pretty deep and i’d prefer to avoid such topics). trauma will make someone not want to do certain things, or be afraid of something they weren’t previously scared of. in this case, for artemis, they made a vow to themselves to never marry - and they have made it very clear they won’t be crossing over their own boundaries.

the discussion of marriage came up a few times between wildfire, and both r content with how their relationship currently is. they don’t need anything fancy, nor any deep thought-out vows. the both of them don’t care for fancy labels, either. just “partner” is enough. i’d like to think maybe venti would want a ceremony - not for marriage, per se, but just as a way to tell artemis he wishes to spend the rest of his life with them. to be able to profess his love in front of a crowd, esp bc of how theatrical he is. (also bc he always preaches abt how beautiful love is and the image of him watching weddings and swooning from the sidelines makes me smile.) but he wouldn’t pressure them, bc he knows there’s a clear boundary, and he wouldn’t dare to cross that.

even if they never get married “officially” in societal standards, they’d still have their own way of making it known they’re partners. not through rings, but through earrings ! the earrings would be elegantly handcrafted and expensive, and depict their favorite flowers. they’d exchange them, so artemis would wear an earring depicting a cecilia, and venti would wear one depicting either a daisy or a tiger lily.

ask game!

grass : you’re going on a picnic with your f/o! what are you packing for the trip and what does the scenery look like?

OMGG okay so wildfire already go on picnics pretty often when artemis has days off from work. they’re pretty busy bc they go back and forth from snezhnaya to mondstadt due to not only working under the recon co but also being part of varka’s expedition

for picnics though, a MUST pack is strawberries and apple slices !!!! artemis loves strawberries and venti loves apples ! also, artemis would make some homemade potato fritters. hmmm i think they’d add blueberries to the basket too .. and some sandwiches ! not sure which kind though .. AND OFC ALCOHOL >:3 maybe a bottle of wine for us to share, and a single beer for me cause i lvoe beer 😛

as for the scenery … hm well usually their picnics r in windrise ! and sometimes they have picnics near the beach in dornman port !!!

ice : it’s starting to snow! what do you and your f/o plan on doing? do you go sledding? build a snowman? or do you guys stay inside to keep warm?

PLAYING IN THE SNOW !!!! as a kid, i ALWAYS played in the snow regardless of whether i was alone or with a friend !! my sister and i even went sledding together when i was super young. so def playing in the snow and having snowball fights :3

i love love LVOE sledding so def that too !!! i get bored after like an hour though so after playing in the snow we’ll go back inside, change out of our snow gear, and cuddle for awhile hehe

poison : who’s the better caretaker in your relationship and how do you help each other when one of you is sick?

def venti ! he’s got those mother instincts LOL so he’d be fretting over them like a mother hen whenever artemis is sick. they’d be all dramatic when sick too, probably clinging onto him and being like “dont leave meee 🥺”

in general though, i do think venti is a better caretaker than artemis is. the latter’s upbringing was very harsh, and due to the lack of proper parenting they received, they dont exactly know how to be a caretaker themselves (which is one reason they will never have kids).

venti’s a god so i dont think sickness rlly affects him, but if it did, i def think artemis would try their best to take care of him. they’d try to mimic what he does for them, bc they’re kinda clueless when it comes to taking care of people LOLL

• def artemis ! they spent a lot of time as a child cooking with lilith and helping around the house. one way wildfire spend their time together is cooking ! it’s a great bonding experience hehe. hmm their fav thing to make together would be sweets ! so - cookies, pies, cakes, etc.

• for artemis, definitely sports ! they grew up playing many outdoor sports. as for venti hmmm i think he’d rlly enjoy hiking !!! i can see both of them going hiking together in stormbearer mountains. i think he also enjoys bird watching :3

ive mentioned a few times that instead of rings, wildfire would wear earrings to signify that they’re “married” (partners)

and the earrings would be a gift, so venti gives cecilia earrings to artemis, and artemis gives tigerlily or daffodil earrings to venti ! the earrings themselves would probably look like these:

with the first two being options artemis would wear, and the second two being options venti would wear :3
