Blog Move!

Hi lovelies, I've been thinking about doing this for a while as I'm miffed I've been neglecting my other muses/fandoms. With the new year and my bestie remaking his blog this felt like a good time. I have now made a new (limited) multimuse blog at:

There you'll find Loki and my other muses so I can keep them all under one roof. I'm a little sad to shift from Loki-only (and his very important rainbow checkmarks 😂) but these original blogs aren't going anywhere, I just won't be actively writing on them.

I'll gradually be moving other bits across and reblogging them and making extra info posts on my muses as time goes on but my fudged Carrd should be enough to get started.

All active threads and pending asks and drafts will be carried over to the new place. Apologies for any tracker inconveniences this may cause!

Loki tilts his head and purses his lips in thought. "That does explain how we're actually getting any screentime." A beat. "Prose-wise." 

His arms unfold and he sags, giving in. Meeting Deadpool is far more interesting than having to sit watching everything like the most extensive channel package ever devised, this being his first proper stint out from the job. The glittering robes swish with his movement.

"I've not been known as a purveyor of truths, but perhaps now I can make an exception. What do you want to know? And don't ask what's under my robes. I'm sure you're aware of Tom Hiddleston."

"I have been and I would apologize if I wasn't actually here to ask you about that because well Paradox is... I don't know where he is and I actually don't fucking care but he refused to tell me what happened and to tell you the truth it's not even that I'm more interested in your brother I'm more like.. obsessed with the truth!" He snorts a laugh. "You're much more my type. Mischievous. Right up my alley. And I can talk to you about the fact we're both fictive characters in a story made up by random people in Europe. That's something no one else can relate to me about."

Despite Loki's intent on play, it was clear that this situation was upsetting for her love. Her smile softened to a serious affection when Cordelia was distracted by thought and tremulous words were given. She held her hawk, letting her lead the kiss but returning it with passion. It ached to feel her hurting. Loki wanted to make this new Ronin fly for reigniting Cordelia's pain. Whatever happens? Did she expect her identity to be revealed? Was this all a trap to draw the real Ronin out? What if this was a burden Loki could take on? She was already hated. What was another list of crimes, if it would protect Cordelia?

"I'll keep close," she replied with a nod. "Unless I find them first."

For all the thoughts she’d had about Loki over the years, one of the things Cordelia rarely thought of was his magic. It surprised her, since that’s what everyone seemed to know him for, his ability to make the impossible happen, and her only concern was if he would look at her with love in his eyes.

Her eyes, in this moment, as they withstood the blast of cold wind that whistled through the New York street they now inhabited.

Cordelia pulled out her phone and swiped to a secret subfolder in an app disguised as a social media aggregator. In the folder were photos of her costume, close ups on the detail and other things that made the Ronin outfit unique. The stitching, the material, the way it shone under different lights. She then brought up a video of the sword she used. It was retractable, a steel blade laced with vibranium. The black marketer she bought the latter material from was amongst her first victims, one of the few that saw he was being killed by an Avenger. The smirk on his face as she stabbed him inspired her to add the hood and to conceal her gender in every possible way she could think of.

While she wanted to listen, all Hawkeye could think about were the stakes of this moment. What if this person intended on taking the Ronin mantle and blazing a trail just like she had? Or worse, exposing Cordelia as nothing more than a hypocrite? Seeing Loki now, excited for a challenge, she pulled her great love into her arms and slid her slender fingers through their soft raven locks.

“Whatever happens,” she heard her voice quiver but forced herself to push on. “Whatever happens, know that loving you has been the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me, Loki.” Cordelia kissed her lips, deepening it as many times as her lover would allow. Breathless by the end, the archer took both of their hands. “I love you. I will always love you. I will love you beyond the heat death of this universe.” She had no idea what that last phrase meant, but it was true. Despite whatever was in the future, one thing would be certain - how Hawkeye felt about her trickster.

“I’ll hit up the area next to where they were spotted. Who knows…maybe we’ll get lucky.”

you need to be held as though you're going to break. you need someone to trace your scars like cracks in a wall, crumbling. their touch is almost painful; you've been without it for too long, without someone to hold you. but, you cannot bring yourself to pull away.

Of all the people's doorsteps to darken, this upholder of truth and justice and spangled flags. Rogers was so many things Loki was not, and yet he was the first person he could think of to track down for help. He was probably the Avenger least likely to outright murder him while they had the chance.

"Hello, captain," he said through the door. "It was not my initial intention. There was trouble with the Dark Elves. You may have heard about what happened in London. I helped my brother stop Malekith, but I was injured on another world. Long story short, when I returned to Asgard my father exiled me here as he did to Thor a few years past. I'm asking for assistance. For your sanctuary. I know I don't deserve it, but I ask it all the same."

He was powerless, practically mortal, in a land that hated him. Being alone was not an ideal option.

Steve wasn’t quite sure how long he’d been asleep, but it’d been enough that waking up to the knock at the door was both startling and annoying. The exhale that escaped him was half a begrudging sigh as he stood and began towards the apartment’s foyer. He glanced at the clock and frowned: it was awfully late for any of his neighbours to be needing something. In fact, some would say it was so late it’s early.

So, just who was paying him a visit?

Not that Steve inherently thought that every unannounced visitor meant him harm – but the last time someone came over without invitation, his apartment had become a crime scene. That, and when his neighbour turned out to be a spy… Well, everything had made a lasting impression. Trust was hard to come by.

He grabbed the shield resting against the wall as a precaution, and peered through the peephole.

The hell?

Who he saw standing there, did nothing to ease his concerns about a firefight. He hesitated, eyes on the deadlock. It’s not as if the door would be able to stop the individual on the other side, though Steve appreciated that he’d been polite enough to knock.

Cautiously, he opened the door.

“Loki,” he greeted tersely, “didn’t think you were in the neighbourhood.”

 Shouldn’t he be in prison, on Asgard?
