I'm going to reluctantly drag myself into bed and regret staying up when I arrive at work tomorrow morning. .__.

But tomorrow's Friday so I have a whole weekend of freedom to derp around on here and catch up? ;v;]

Eraqus shook his head. Nothing had happened in his friend's absence... Instead, one too many long, lonely nights had passed by where he couldn't sleep, left alone to completely drown in his thoughts. Their last conversation had haunted him for weeks on end, leaving him to dwell upon the future for too long - a future that he was now much too frightened to face. "I-- I can't do this any more. This keyblade is nothing but a horrible curse - I hate it!"

He wasn’t quite sure… what had happened. Was he gone for awhile, again? Time travel made everything so distorted. Did he go comatose after his return? No—he’d… seen Eraqus, didn’t he? He gently rubs his head with his free arm, trying to get memories sorted out. Obviously something had happened, just…

"Eraqus," his tone’s calm, cold, cuts through the air with ease. "What’s the matter? This isn’t like you… did I do something to you? Is Master all right?"

"...E-Eh? I'm flattered that you've heard of me, but I'm not... Y'know--"

"M-Master Eraqus?!

"U--Unless you don't want to! I know I can be pretty pushy sometimes, but I don't mean it!"

"Aaah… Well, ok." It didn’t quite feel right, letting him skip out on training. But he was also her Master so… She shouldn’t question him???

"I've wormed myself out of worse situations! I'm sure the Master can deal with me staying up a little bit later than usual~"

Xeha laughed quietly at the squeal, and smiled at Eraqus as he quickly and somewhat clumsily made his way over. “Yes, she is."

"So she's a girl, huh?" His smile only grew at that. For some reason, he loved the thought of getting to see a little lady grow up. Perhaps it was the distinct lack of a female presence in his life... He would have been equally excited no matter what the child's gender was, but this could turn out to be a nice learning experience! Boys had a little too much predictability, and Eraqus loved nothing less than a good challenge! "What's her name?" He asked, lips curling in slight concentration as he wiggled a finger in front of the baby.
