The End
The day had come, and with all his bags packed, Ben was finally going back home. He enjoyed his time in Krovs, but the vampire never truly felt like it was the right fit for him. There were too many rules, all of which prevented him from enjoying himself. There was also the matter of his empire he had made. Things were changing back home, and they needed their leader more than ever now. This was why it was so easy for Ben to make his decision. Of course, he had to extend the invite to Finn.
The demon had become someone Ben really didn’t want to be without. While the vampire never said it out loud, he hoped Finn could figure that one out. He envisioned a better life for the demon, one at Ben’s side while they ruled his country. Krovs didn’t provide that for either of them, so they had to leave. When Finn asked to stay back for a few days, Ben was hesitant, but he agreed to it. Perhaps the demon wanted to say goodbye, and Ben figured he could grant him that.
A portal was made for him, ready to take him back to the states. The vampire took one last look at everything. There were good memories made in the castle, as well as relations. There were people who he enjoyed, and people he hated. There was also people who probably hated him back (those were Ben’s favorites). It was going to be weird to not be around other councilmen, and an array of species, but Ben would make it through.
The moment he stepped through the portal, he was hit with nostalgia. This was his home. Not some cold snowy mountain, but a beautiful plain that lead to a dark green forest shadowed by stone mountains. Home. He was finally home, and now he could continue his work. All that was missing, was his beautiful pup, who Ben awaited to arrive.

“You’re making this sound like you’ve already packed your things and you’re ready to leave tonight,” Finn chuckled. He bit his bottom lip against a grin, actually looking forward to something like that after a few years of nothing but slavery in this place. “It’d be really great to have a life again. Especially with you outside Krovs.” He cocked his head to the side, giving his master a hopeful glance. “Any chance I could meet you out there in a few weeks? I’ve got some…unfinished business here I’d like to settle before we up and leave this place for good. Gives me time to ship out some things from my new house in the village I wanna keep too.”
-
“I was planning that. I can just buy the things you don’t pack when we get back home too”. Ben was impulsive, in the worst and best of ways. When he wanted to leave, he left, and nothing could stop him from that. The vampire frowned at Finn’s request, then sighed. He supposed he could be nice, especially since he was taking Finn away from potential friends. “Alright, a few weeks...but don’t take too long. There’s a lot I need to show you and teach you, Cujo”.

“How soon is soon?” Finn asked, curious to know. He smiled wide at the thought of any place outside of Krovs, absently running his hands over Ben’s chest and curling his fingers into his shirt. “I’ve always wanted a big backyard to run around in. And I’ve missed summer. What else is there?”
-
“A lot sooner than you think”, Ben teased. If Finn said yes, he would pack them up and leave by the morning. There was no need to stick around longer than they needed to. “A whole empire that I’ve built, freedom, the chance to be more than whatever this place wanted you to be. A life if you will”.

Finn cocked his head to the side, waiting for Ben to say whatever he might next. His eyes widened ever so slightly and his stomach flipped in joy. He’d waited nearly four years to hear something like that and he couldn’t stop the smile from spreading over his features.
But then he remembered Faust was still trapped here, albeit claimed and out of the Undercroft now. His chest tightened with a pang and he bit his bottom lip, suddenly conflicted about the one thing he’d desired most since he’d wound up in a cell here. “I mean, I’d love to. I’m getting a little bored with these castle walls,” he admitted honestly. He paused briefly before asking, “When are you planning on leaving?”
-
Ben hummed, a soft smile on his face as Finn spoke. He didn’t voice it, but the vampire didn’t want to give Finn much of a choice. While the familiar was free to do as he pleased, Ben wanted him at his side still. He ruffled the demon’s hair playfully, “Soon. I think you’ll like it where we’re going. There are seasons, and it’s not in the middle of fucking nowhere. You’ll get to run around, and do whatever you want”.

“Only cause you’ve been so good to me,” Finn replied, grinning wide. It was thanks to Ben that he had his freedom again now, after all. He didn’t hesitate in pushing Ben back onto the nearest chair, immediately straddling the other man’s lap and hooking his arms around his master’s neck. “Yeah?” he asked, looking down at Ben through his lashes with a smirk. “And how would you like me to entertain you?”
-
“Hmm, entertain me with a thought, sweet boy”. He rubbed Finn’s back, making sure to keep a close eye on him to see his reaction. “What if you and I left this castle? I’m finding it difficult to stay, due to work and what not...I would rather like it if you came along with me. What do you say, Cujo?”.

“You don’t know that,” Finn tsked, not at all complaining as Ben carried him off. “I might shrivel up one day if I don’t get the attention and belly rubs I need.” Sometimes he wondered if he was more dog than human in that regard. He cocked his head, regarding his master out of his peripherals. “You’re not that horrible. It’s why I stick around,” he said, grinning wide, “Is there anything I can help ya out with, master?”
-
“That would certainly be a sight to behold, Finn”. Ben could already imagine the familiar being very dramatic over not getting attention. “You might be the only person here that doesn’t think I’m horrible”, Ben laughed. “Why yes, you can entertain me”.

One thing Ben knew for certain, was that he was starving. It wasn’t something he experienced a lot, being that he was old and knew how to keep himself fed. But for the first time in centuries, he was actually starving. It almost made him go mad. He needed blood, he needed sex, and he was going to get both.
Tracking down some human whelp was easy. Just as easy as sinking his fangs into the poor dude’s neck and tearing it open. That was the blood sated, now Ben needed sex. He sniffed the air, catching a scent he was a little familiar with. Well, he specifically knew the scent’s sire, but that was a good enough familiarity for Ben to reach out and grab the dhampir and pull him in.
“Ah, little James. So glad you could join me”.

Finn thoroughly enjoyed being a purchased slave these days. It really wasn’t much different from being claimed, but this time he had more freedoms, a new home in the village to vacation in, a car, and more things to do than sit around and cause a little mischief. Oh, and he could leave whenever he wanted, not that he intended to do that anytime soon. He rather liked sticking by Ben’s side and with some new revelations on one of the new slaves in the Undercroft, he planned on sticking around Krovs for a bit.
He thought he smelled his wonderful master in the area, grunting as he was easily lifted off his feet. “There you are,” he laughed, “’Course I missed ya. Do you know how long it’s been since I’ve had any proper attention and praise?” Much like the dog he turned into, Finn always craved a bit of affection he swore he never got.
-
“Yes yes, I know. I’m a horrible master who doesn’t give you attention”, Ben laughed. He pat the familiar’s ass, then started to walk off with Finn still in his arms, “I’m sure you have no problem getting attention from others, Cujo. I’m also sure that you won’t die if you don’t get attention. You may get unhappy, but you’ll live”.

Buying FInn had to be one of Ben’s best decisions he had made. The familiar was a good boy (pun intended), and possibly one of the few slaves Ben actually liked. Of course the only logical thing that councilman could do was buy Finn so no one else could have him. Sure, Finn could now leave whenever he wanted, but Ben doubted it would come to that.
He gave the demon an allowance, but also required him to work too. He didn’t want the pup to be lazy, and needed him to be a little more responsible. He located his purchase, and snuck up behind him, wrapping his arms around Finn’s waist and hoisting him up.
“Did you miss me?”

andreiperez:
Ever since he’d been punished for attempting to escape, Andy had been doing his best to keep his head down, figuring the less attention on him at the moment, the better. His punishment from Leon had solidified two things in the omega’s mind; one, that, despite appearances, probably every master in this godforsaken castle was a dick and two, if he tried escaping again, it had better be a full proof plan.
With the free time they were being given at the moment, Andy was standing off to the side, just in the view of the guards. He had a small rock in one hand that he was throwing up in the air and catching, clearly lost in thought, but not enough so that he didn’t hear someone approaching. “What?” Andy asked shortly, not bothering to look at whoever it was.

Boredom had taken over Ben yet again. e was really starting to wonder if there would ever be anything he could consider exciting in the castle. Maybe if they let him do things the way he wanted, things could be fun. But no, there were annoying rules and guidelines that prevented him from doing that. All of that boredom put him on a short fuse. So Ben did what he always did when he was pissed; find a person, and take it out on them.
The slave he saw first seemed like a good enough candidate for him, although there wasn’t much qualifications for that. Ben approached, and smiled at the other man, “Well aren’t you rude”.

He was not actually expecting to come across such incident this early, it had not even yet been a day since he stepped into the castle after all. But then again, this was also not something unsettling much for the Aswang. And from the smile that was plastered across the other councilman’s face, not one for him either. Erik let out a soft chuckle and shook his head as he proceed to approach the pair, in a way blocking the young vampire in between them next. “Youngins of late. Always too reckless.” He murmured as he met the other’s gaze. “Maybe you could show this one how it’s actually done?”
-
Ben flicked the handle of the knife, feeling it bounce slightly in his side. It was all a little funny in his opinion. And hey, now he could freely make an example out of another vampire, so that was a plus. “Ah, you read my fucking mind. Do me a favor, and hold the little cutie for me. I don’t want to mess up”.

sholto:
Yet another thing that Sholto was forced to do each day: go outside. He did his best to make nothing easy for the guards and had numerous bruises on him to attest to that fact. While they were heading out, he witnessed two men arguing and one stabbed the other. The one who had been stabbed didn’t seem bothered and even turned to speak to Sholto, as if the merman was an old friend. It made him see red.
“He missed.” Sholto grumbled, seriously considering lunging at the man to try and finish the job. The guard behind him cuffed the back of his head, knocking the idea out of it and he glared as the guard apologized for his poor behaviour.
“Sorry, Councilman, d’you need me t’call anyone for ya?” the guard asked as he grabbed Sholto by the collar, twisting his wrist a little and causing the merman to wince and move his attention away from the master.
-
“Did he now? I thought he aimed just right”, Ben mused. The slave had a mouth, as most did. It didn’t phase Ben though. He just grinned at the guards, then took the knife out of his side. The master was quick to place the knife under the slave’s chin, applying enough pressure to break some skin.
“Why don’t you tell me why you think he missed? I’d love to hear your thoughts”.

merekhopper:
It wasn’t exactly uncommon for something to break out within the castle, not when there were so many egotistical vampires and the like gathered in one building. What was uncommon, however, was witnessing a much younger vampire plunge a knife into the side of a councilman. Particularly one like Ben, who Merek had always thought you’d want to avoid getting on the bad side of. He offered back a smile of his own as he came to a stop, glancing down briefly at the knife and the psionic hummed.
“How very kind of him.” He replied with a slight incline of the head. “I’m fairly sure that little one must have some kind of a death wish.”
-
Ben just grinned, then yanked the knife out of his side, only to stab it into the cheek of the vampire who attacked him. The younger master screamed, but Ben grabbed him by the neck to keep him in place, “Oh, I’m sure he does. It’s a shame though, his creator wasted their time and effort on making them. All that immortality, about to go to fucking waste’. He winked at the younger vampire, then turned to the staff member, “Merek, correct?”

playfultribrid:
Being in the mercenary business after being a hunter for a bit, if there was one thing Theoden has learned? It’s how to spot the signs of a fight. The tribrid knew that it would probably be for his best interest to walk away…To just act like he didn’t see anything. But at the flash of metal? Theoden’s instincts kicked in. The vampire/human/faerie hybrid moved forward, but not quick enough apparently.
Theoden gulped as he heard the man’s words and looked at the other vampire, recognizing him. He had been someone who had helped show Theoden around on his first day here. He had noticed the man had been quick to anger, but Theoden didn’t know it was this bad. Still…the man had done him a solid. So Theoden figured he could at least try to help him out.
He approached and tried not to shiver at the fact that the other was smiling at him with a knife still in his side. “That’s…Thoughtful,” Theoden said carefully. “I don’t suppose you would let him off the hook with a warning? Is there a strike system in play here or something?” Theoden asked cautiously. Theoden tried to edge his way into the middle of the two, hoping to stop anything should it escalate.
-
Ben let out a full belly laugh. It was cute that a slave thought they could come between him and the idiot who stabbed him. Ben had half the mind to use the slave to beat the other master to death. “Why would I do that?”, Ben said after he finally stopped laughing. “What would I earn from letting him off the hook, hmm? It’s really a boring choice, and you should be ashamed of yourself for suggesting it”.

iah-yang:
Iah wasn’t really one for fighting and while he had been trained to use a sword, he would rather than avoided any fights if possible. Thankfully, there were guards in the castle to deal with the times when things got out of hand. Walking through the halls, he would sometimes hear about fights or other altercations that had broken out among slaves or masters. However, it was rare for him to come across something himself.
Looking between the stab wound and the two vampires, he was momentarily stunned. After a few seconds, he went over to the councilman. “Are you okay?” he asked quickly, ignoring the other person mostly because there was blood and someone was hurt and the other one could be dealt with later, most likely by the councilman himself. Iah knew he had no authority over others.
-
Ben glanced down to the knife in his side, then up to the other master, “I don’t know, do I look alright to you?”. He wasn’t in pain, and Ben was honestly a little entertained by what had happened. He yanked the knife out of his side, and some of his blood spurted out onto the floor. “I’ll be fine I think. Can’t say the same for the other guy. Someone might have to clean him up off the floor once I’m done with him. Would you like to watch?”
