"Well, that’s really to bad, because I just don’t want to walk away."

Ben called out for two glasses, smiling at Naomi, handing her one and keeping the other for himself. "To whatever this is," he smiled, holding out his glass.

"Well then, cheers Ben. Time to get as drunk as humanly, or vampirely, possible."

"Liz, are you going to get defensive every time I talk to girls?" Ben asked, "Anyways, if you want to talk, you know I'm all ears. And at least Rick is trying to make an effort to be better for you. If that was his reasoning, I'm not sure I can argue with him. I only came because I needed a distraction."

She tried to smile,shrugging her shoulders back a bit. “He wants to become a better person, turn over a new leaf and coming to this ridiculous party isn’t going to do any good…" She mocked him.Her lips curved into a half smile. "So…he abandoned me… and so here I am- drinking and looking for someone I actually feel like talking to… I would say I found him but- it seems like you and that new girl are hitting it off rather nicely… by all means- if i’m intruding…" she motioned towards the other end of the room.

"It looks like we're just no good for each other."

"Well than. It looks like our so far short relationship is based on looks alone. I hear that’s the definition of unhealthy."

"What do you not understand about the word 'no'?"

"Because you’re too hot to be this boring. Come on, just try it."

"You are correct. Vampire. And yes I would definitely like to get those drinks," he said, gesturing her to lead the way.

"Vampire or demon? Probably the first, you don’t strike me as a demon. It’s cool, I can’t judge. Most of my family are kitsune, I’m the odd human out."

"Now, do you want to go get those drinks?"

"And it's a good thing you're cute or I would have ditched you already, too," he replied, jokingly.

"You little cocky ass liar. It’s a good thing you’re hot and I dropped my drink on you, or I’d ditch you in a second."

"Well, now that I've succeeded in my first plan, I need to have another, don't I?" he joked sarcastically. "Really, I need someone around to make sure I don't drink myself to death... If I can even do that anymore."

"Is your plan to get me drunk mister?" Naomi raises her eyebrows jokingly. "Because if it is, I’m completely okay with it."

"It's cute," Ben smirked. "Want to grab a drink?"

"I know so. One look at those abs of yours and a straight guy would turn gay…I’m being awkward, aren’t I..?"

Ben rolled his eyes. "I didn't want to be a vampire in the first place, what makes you think I'd enjoy feeding from people?"

"I wasn’t trying to help, stud. Really? Don’t you drink from people? Don’t tell me you’re a blood bag guy. I at least thought you’d be an interesting vampire."

"I mean... I'm sure I'm turning heads, but when I leave, there'll be just as many looking at you."

"Really? That’s so sweet. Thank you. But I’ probably only turning heads because I’m standing next to an incredibly attractive guy."

"You're not helping, Angel, and I'm not going to bite you, if that's what you're implying. I'm still not used to this whole thing and it's been months."

"Well damn. See this is what happens when I’m not around." She sighed shaking her head before another thought entered her mind that she just had to say. "You know, I’ve always though it’d be kind of kinky to be bitten by a vampire."

"You think so?"

"You probably have the votes of all the single girls here, and some of the taken ones."

"Well, I think you are. You're a different kind of pretty. You don't seem like the demanding attention craving type, but you turn heads, trust me."

"I’m actually not THAT pretty. I’ve seen hundreds of girls around Mystic falls that are 10x prettier than me. Really, it’s not that difficult to believe."

"Well, long story short, I came here, fell in love with a vampire girl, Liz Mikaelson, who had a boyfriend. Not exactly a good way to start off in this town. Either way, he wanted to kill me, so she gave me some of her blood, and ended up killing me. I was sired to her for a bit before I broke the bond. Turned off my humanity, turned it back on. She's now engaged to her first boyfriend. And I'm left with a craving for blood."

"I’ve got time."

"Don't know, but if there is, I know I've got one vote."

"Well, believe me when I say you definitely made my night. You should win the best costume award. Is there actually an award?"

"Yes."

"Well, it’s the truth. You are the first male that I’m not related to who thinks I’m attractive. Is it really that hard to believe?"
