I really wanna start reading books again but whenever I start reading one, my brain tries to make it Dean/Cas/Benny or Cas/Benny or Dean/Cas... Then I go to read some Dean/Cas fics and if Benny's even just mentioned, my brain is gonna come up with ideas about how it could become Dean/Cas/Benny. There's no winning for me lol

*breaking my silence* one of the most underrated minor supernatural characters is benny lafitte. he was a vampire in purgatory who met this walking blood bag (dean) who slowly grows on him, to the point that he cares about dean and what dean thinks of him and is a little bit in love w him. when they make it out of purgatory no one trusts him (despite the fact that he’s genuinely changed). not sam, not desmond, not the audience. but benny doesn’t care bc dean believes in him. he tries his best. but he’s terrorized by desmond, hunted by sam, so when dean comes back asking for one more sacrifice, and he agrees – going to purgatory yet again bc he’d rather be there than slip into his old habits and lose the relationship/trust he worked so hard to build. he saves sam and bobby and stays trapped in purgatory, where he’s killed. he sacrificed his life twice for redemption, and bc of his loyalty to dean. pour one out for our sweet southern king

They ask Santa for a naughty present Benny’s happy to give them, but only when they’re not this high.

Snowflakes litter all over Benny’s red coat as he walks towards the entrance of his apartment complex from his car. Even in the stairwell, he is still cold. He thought the coat of his Santa costume was warmer so he didn’t bring anything to wear over it.

He takes the stairs two at a time as he rushes towards the warmth of the apartment he shares with his best friend, Dean, and Dean’s boyfriend, Castiel. His cold fingers make it hard to find the right key for the door, but once he opens it, warmth washes over him.

As he’s taking his boots off, he notices the smell of mulled wine in the air. He walks into the living room where he finds his roommates cuddling. Benny takes off his Santa hat and fake beard while he’s walking closer.

“You two had mulled wine again?” he asks as he tosses his hat and beard on the coffee table. Having his own beard didn’t save him from the itchy fake one, as Jody and Donna’s little girls would’ve recognised Uncle Benny in a minute without it. It was a close call even with the fake one.

“Look, Babe, Santa’s here!” Dean exclaims while he tries to mute the tv, but the way he changes channels three times before managing it makes Benny wonder about his sobriety.

Dean is sitting on the far end of the couch, holding Castiel close. Benny sits down next to Castiel and looks over the small table to see what else they’ve drunk. There’s nothing else besides two mugs, a small plate and Cas’s water bottle.

“Did you two get this tipsy from mulled wine?”

“‘Course not,” Dean slurs.

When Dean doesn’t explain further, Benny turns to Cas who says, “We made magic muffins.”

“Cas said we should leave you some, but I got so hungry,” Dean blurts out like a child who is caught stealing cookies.

Benny’s in for a fun night with the high couple. Alex and Claire exhausted him with the bubbly energy only excited little girls have, so he won’t be enjoying this night as long as he wants to. He hopes it’ll be an easy ride to tuck his roommates into bed.

“I wanna sit on his lap.” Castiel’s stage whisper to Dean breaks Benny out of his thoughts.

The couple is always way too flirty with him, even when they’re sober, let alone when they’re tipsy, so he goes along. “Wanna tell me what you want for Christmas?” he asks.

His answer is giggles from both men before Castiel nods.

“Go on then,” Benny taps his thighs.

Triad soulmate AU.

Person A and B are aware that they are soulmates, but C is more shy than them. After a while of searching, they finally find C and they feel complete. Person A won't stand for bullying, or people who would make fun of them or their partners for having more than one soulmate. 90% of the time their partners would have to hold them back from fighting the person who insulted them. Person C's family couldn't believe that C had 2 soulmates. So they were forced to hide it (the string, the names on the wrist, ect. You pick). But since they found A and B they were welcomed into two new families. Person B had a bit of a hard time adjusting to the fact that they had another soulmate aside from C, but in the end, they found that they love them both equally and is happy that they have more people to love. When A and B found out they had another partner they immediately went out to look for C. They looked for months until they found them. Person C was shy at first, thinking that they might be "interrupting" Person A and B's relationship. Their partners comforted them, making sure that they knew that they loved them and that they were so happy that they were in their life.
