I'm more than glad to collaborate with Biz there! She does amazing lining and coloring, so when she said that she wanted to do the line art and coloring for this piece I'm like “SURE!!!(✪ω✪)”

My sister told me that I'll become a master of drawing Ikkyu because I love Mayu-chan too much and I want to make them look PERFECT with each other… AND SHE'S RIGHT( • ̀ω•́ )✧

Miitopia is definitely one of the most enjoyable game for me to help me holding up during the pandemic and the endless online classes( • ̀ω•́ )✧

Bershi, my ES21 OC, went on her journey as a chef. During her journey, she got the one she loves, her own sister, her “bro”, the elites from Shinryuuji Naga, even her sons traveling back from the future by her side.

And Mayu, the most adorable OC of my friend @tyrian-bizkits ! Thank you for letting Bershi to have her best friend with her dear(❀ฺ´∀`❀ฺ)ﾉ

To say a final farewell to my adventures in Miitopia, I decided to make this art piece to show my fondness for the good times I had. I wound up unable to add the other 6 members of my party in the end, but the first four are here at least. I had a lot of fun playing with an Eyeshield 21 version RPG game (with notable extras like Godzilla, Scooby Doo, Hell Boy, and many others), and my OC Mayu Hiruma and @bershiamano who I thank deeply for telling me about this great game.

Ikkyu and Hiruma were great to have on the team, as well as the other members of the Saikyoudai Wizards. It was a crazy, funny and wonderful experience and I hope maybe more games like Miitopia may come about someday with the insane customization it offers.

The background is an edit of the Nightmare Tower in-game, credit to the people who make the fantastic graphics for them at Nintendo.

H-Hello... Don’t mind me, make yourself at home..? I think... I’m a little awkward, sorry.

Hiruma Mayu ( 蛭魔 真優 ), younger sister of Hiruma Youichi A.K.A. The Commander of Hell. Attending Saikyoudai University as the American Football Team’s mascot, Zappy the Wizard, she aims to better herself and learn how to become more social among her new peers, seniors, and her distant sibling.

History

Born out of an arranged marriage, Mayu grew up under the care of her narcissistic mother Kumiko and Hiruma Yuuya, a father who pretended things were fine as they were. Being the second-born child, as her father had a lover before marrying Kumiko, there was conflict within the elders of their family as to who should be the heir to the Hiruma clan. Kumiko, being a vain and spiteful person, raised Mayu to be a “perfect child” and tool in order to restore her dignity of not having been the mother of the firstborn, and treats Youichi coldly by only calling him the “demon child” and praising her daughter. Growing up knowing her mother only gave her praise as a puppet than out of any genuine show of affection, Mayu never cared for the competition between her and her older brother. Stuck as she was, Mayu only wanted to have her mother see her as her child than a way to look good in society. And despite of what she truly desired, took on figure skating in an attempt to make her mother genuinely proud of her for once.

Youichi was never an active presence in her life, and only interacted the odd times he had no choice but to. Due to an incident when she was very very young, she learned early on he was not as evil as many claimed him to be. Whenever he spoke to her, it never escaped her notice how smart, bold and independent he was. At first she thought perhaps it was a form of delayed bafflement in how he had no shame in being himself, but realized it was admiration for how he didn’t rely on anyone for his own happiness and instead made his own choices and stuck with them in stubborn determination.

When he left the family for good, it left her wondering why she too couldn’t be braver in standing up for herself, to tell her mother she no longer wanted the life of a figure skater when all it did was tear her apart inside. As good as she was, she felt alone, isolated while perusing a dream she no longer desired to please a mother who never would be pleased. But leaving a situation like that was no easy feat, and one day during a competition a simple mistake turned into a fatal one leaving Mayu with a serious leg injury that prematurely ended her career.

Present

The constant verbal and emotional abuse from her mother combined with the trauma, left her emotionally shattered and at that point Yuuya had enough of pretending things were fine and divorced Kumiko to prevent any more harm to his daughter.

Spending what time she had after a long recovery to study hard during high school, Mayu not only had no time to make friends, but had a hard time really forgiving Yuuya for only stepping in when he did. However, as they watched the Deimon Devilbats’ games together, they finally started to connect as he began to do all he could to make up for how much he failed as a supportive father. On a random suggestion, he said maybe Mayu should try for her brother’s college and find a new dream to chase. Surprisingly, she received a second letter from Saikyoudai University stating the offer for a scholarship as long as she did some work for the American Football team.

Thus being personally invited to hell by the devil himself, Mayu now shares an apartment with Mamori and plays the role of Zappy the Wizard during each game.

Has a quiet and honest personality, but capable of being quite sassy with a witty sense of humor when prompted. Prefers to avoid lying if she can, and perhaps rather innocently naïve growing up in a sheltered environment. A fast learner however, and while not as gifted at analyzing data like her brother, has an almost photogenic memory for most of what she has learned. Quite intuitive and upon spending enough time with a person will learn their speaking quirks and unique body language.

Currently studying various artistic pursuits, being very fond of creative writing, literature-based classes, and mythology in particular. Has recently taken up practicing slight of hand tricks for her work as a “magical” mascot. Still does regular work out routines as even if she isn’t playing in a sport herself anymore, she likes to maintain a schedule of some kind out of a lax form of familiarity. As a result she is rather strong for her small size.

But today I… I didn’t feel like Hiruma’s sister or the girl who failed as a figure skater, or the team mascot. I felt like… just me.
