Two lovers have reincarnated throughout history, destined to find each other and fall in love all over again. There’s also this third guy that reincarnates alongside them… we don’t really know what he does.

Murdoc coming to Mac because he needs his help is fucking great. Not-so-local Assassin asking the one guy he can't seem to kill to save his son. Imagine having to pull a gun on your crush to get him to listen to you beg after he kinda fried your brain by pushing you up against the wall.
It's so funny because Mac actually seems pretty oblivious to the homoerotic tension going on so Murdoc is just being this obsessed fanboy who keeps crawling back to this random dude who would honestly rather just arrest him and move on. Not only is Murdoc incredibly horny for an agent, that agent ALSO just doesn't care beyond being slightly annoyed. Murdoc is so damn pathetic, it's amazing.

idk, in my opinion it's Oliver's need for control that motivates his desire to lie to Felix. If he were to tell Felix the truth - that he's actually a social outcast loserboy from a middle class family who has always had a hard time making friends, it would give Felix the power to reject him in a deeper and more meaningful way. Maybe it would tee Felix off to the fact that there IS something undesirable about Oliver - that Felix might start looking at him a little closer and more critically. In a way, Oliver takes away Felix's ability to discern for himself. He weaves a story for Felix where he is the ultimate underdog hero while relying on hardships that would be completely outside of his control (it's clearly not his fault his parents are drug addicts) and in doing so it takes any blame off of Oliver and places it onto some (for Felix at least) abstract injustice that he's faced and has clearly been able to rise above to get into Oxford. I think this is why it hits Felix so hard when he finds out Oliver has been lying - he feels *violated* by Oliver in a way. Felix realizes he's essentially been letting a stranger into his home, around his family, in on all of his secrets. And it really does shake him - he's so humiliated by it he doesn't even want anyone else to know it happened! Ultimately it's Oliver's need for control that entirely ruins his own life and straight up ends Felix's. It's pretty devastating, actually.

another thing i go crazy for is that the lighting flashes between the colors of the bi flag and the colors of the gaylm flag!
Yall i think we as a community don’t talk about this oliver enough. (Mainly cuz this scene flashes by in like 2 secs but the way I immediately clocked him)
Like he got drunk, unbuttoned his shirt, he’s basically shirtless, moving around a stripper pole. LIKE GUYS. GUYSSSSSSSSS PLEASEEEE

Am I the only one that likes to think that, even if briefly, Felix probably mentally sexualised Oliver getting on his knees and drinking champagne from him in a very oral sex kind of way? I mean Oliver gatekeeps Felix and we never have access to Felix's internal world but idk man, it's so oral sex vibes that I just think: he was picturing his best friend taking his d--k in his mouth there wasn't he?
