The other woman seemed dazed- almost lost in the confusion of the bustling city. And though Asuka wasn’t much for new faces she felt she should probably say something- speak up in some way. Better than watching the woman wander off into a bad area and cops swarming on the aftermath. No. The ginger woman didn’t want that kind of trouble in her neck of the woods.
“Aye Lady!” She called, tapping the other on the shoulder. “You better watch where you’re going before stumble into traffic or something!”

“Wouldn’t have stopped if ya hadn’t bumped me.” She muttered under breath before sighing. It wasn’t true. She was lost and she knew it. Asuka had stopped to look around before being swarmed by the terminals other patrons.
The ginger woman had zoned out- coming back when the taller man began to move. Asuka blinked before registering his words. “Alight! Just wait up!” She called, following in line behind the unknown man. She wasn’t entirely sure why she bothered following him- or where he would even lead. But it was worth a shot right?
He was just about to say something when someone accidentally pushed into him, causing him to stumble a bit. He thought only the trams and trains around here were this bad. “I can see that. You shouldn’t have stopped, otherwise you could have just gone with the flow.”
He was thankful that crowds didn’t bother him, otherwise he would go insane. And lose his temper, which was something no one should have to endure. “Alright hang on–” He managed to slip past the girl. “Follow me if you want to be able to move again.” His method of moving through the crowd? Yup, pushing and shoving back. Seriously, since when were there so many people in this town? Was it some holiday he happened to forget about?

The ginger jumped a bit at the sudden comment, looking over her shoulder. The red head caught her off guard in the crowd. Most people we’re just trying to get through without a comment. But the man was providing some sort of cover for her in the rush of bodies. “Yeah sorry,” She huffed. “I’m a bit trapped.”
beserk-er
“Whoa, aren’t you a sight for sore eyes.” He chuckled in a joking manner. “Sorry for bothering you, but you’re blocking the walkway.” He stated as he was trying to move around the girl…which was pretty difficult considering how crowded the place was. It was partially his fault though; not only was he impatient, he also walked pretty fast

At the comment Asuka’s free hand found her coat pocket again, her fingers curling around the folded mass in her pocket. She took another drag off the cigarette, holding the smoke for a few seconds, partly to distract the pain that was starting to set in. The fights did have some sort of toll on her. But as her fingers tightened she focused on the positive.
Exhaling the smoke she couldn’t help but laugh- or maybe cough, not sure if the blood was coming from her cut mouth or maybe something else. Shaking her head she pulled the cash from her pocket, before replacing it back into the safety of her bag.
“Two hundred to throw it tonight. Maybe three to win it tomorrow.” The ginger woman crossed her arms across her chest. “Maybe you should consider the back alley politics before placing a bet, kid.”
Asuka shrugged again. “Or maybe you already did.”

Asuka wasn’t really sure what to do with the blue haired girl in front of her. She seemed scattered; confused by the interaction. The ginger woman nodded at the statement. She was one of the people taking hits. But tonight was on of the nights she’d come out on top.
Maybe that was putting her in a better mood. Making her more ...friendly?
She tossed her ginger hair over her shoulder and pointed over her shoulder- out of the disgusting alley they were hiding in. “Well maybe I can help ya’” Asuka offered. Her expression harded a bit, puffing out her chest attempting to look aloof. “I mean, not like I wanna say in this shit hole either.”
CIRCLES
If it weren’t for the concern or the hint of surprise in the girl’s question Rei might have had an episode. But now she felt somewhat braver to look up and stare at the girl. Rei ignored the blood and sweat that clung to the ginger’s face but focused on blue eyes. They were pretty and held a light that Rei imagined grew when she gets into fight. Or dim. She’s not sure.
And then there was red hair.
The red hair she spotted earlier. “You were one of the fighters. You won.”
It wasn’t a question and it didn’t come out as a question.
Rei’s eyes widen as she realized what she said. “I’m lost I mean.”
