Hey wanna hear a story that will piss you off so hard?

When I lived in Maryland, I hiked a lot with friends. One day on my drive home from one of these hikes, something strange began to happen. My car began to shake, my steering wheel began to wobble uncontrollably, and a very weird sound was coming from at least one of my tires.

I had my car towed to a shop recommended by AAA. The shop charged me $150 "for diagnostics" and told me nothing was wrong with my car. I insisted that my car was not safe to drive. They insisted that it was fine.

My car began to do the same thing shortly after driving out of their lot. I reduced my speed, worried, resolving to go to a shop closer to home that I trusted more. Preferably that night, maybe the next day.

A loud BANG happened and my car pulled to the side. I regained some control and managed to pull off the road. And watched in horror as my driver's side front wheel continued rolling down the road, without me.

One very expensive tow later (it was over 30 miles, AAA covered 2 at the time) my car is at the shop I trusted more. I get out of the tow truck and the guy comes out to meet us, takes one look at my car STILL ON THE TRUCK, and goes "hey. Where are your lugnuts?"

There were less than 5 total left on my car. He demonstrated that he could remove them easily with a twist of his hand.

The problem with my car is that while on the hike with my friends, someone had obviously tried to steal my tires, got interrupted, and had loosened or removed the majority of my lugnuts in the process. Which made the wheels incredibly loose and likely to fly right off, like one did so.

And it was such an obvious problem that the mechanic could see it by simply looking at my car with his eyes.

Anyway that shop charged me 15 dollars as just to cover the cost of new lugs.

And I will never forget paying 150 for a mechanic to lie to my face that they ever even glanced at my car let alone did any sort of diagnostics.

Even if I didn’t have a solid plan, in the back of my head, I always assumed I’d kill myself.

Now I’m an adult and people my age have their lives in order and I’m stuck here, confused, because I never planned to be alive and I’m so far behind.

I feel like I’ll never catch up.

When you are alone and have a heart attack. What are you gonna do then?

Take a 2 minute break and read this:

Let's say it's 5:25 pm and you're driving home after an unusually hard day's work.

You are really tired and frustrated. All of a sudden your chest pains. They are starting to radiate in the arm and jaw. It feels like being stabbed in the chest and heart. You're only a few miles away from the nearest hospital or home.

Unfortunately you don't know if you can make it..

Maybe you've taken CPR training, but the person running the course hasn't told you how to help yourself.

How do you survive a heart attack when you're alone when it happens? A person who is feeling weak and whose heart is beating hard has only about 10 seconds before losing consciousness.

1. But you can help yourself by coughing repeatedly and very strongly! Deep breaths before every cough. Coughing should be repeated every second until you arrive at the hospital or until your heart starts to beat normally.

2. Deep breathing gives oxygen to your lungs and coughing movements boost the heart and blood circulation. Heart pressure also helps to restore a normal heartbeat. Here's how cardiac arrest victims can make it to the hospital for the right treatment

3. Cardiologists say if someone gets this message and passes it on to 10 people, we can expect to save at least one life.

4. FOR WOMEN: You should know that women have additional and different symptoms. Rarely have crushing chest pain or pain in the arms. Often have indigestion and tightness across the back at the bra line plus sudden fatigue.
