According to the deputies, a man takes his own life after Kershaw County car chase. This happened early morning when the police chase ended in a man taking his own life in front of the deputies. At around 1:00 AM, driver came to a stop at the intersection of the Highway 1 and the Highway 5 in Lugoff then took his own life. According to the family of the man, he was struggling with a mental crisis before the chase. When I read this news from 10 Wis News, I was saddened by this unfortunate incident. I really hope that this incident can bring more awareness to mental health and encourage others to see professional help during crisis because mental health is important and not something you should neglect. Read more.
