Nike Celebrates Hangul Day With Two Air Force 1 Low Colorways
To celebrate Hangul Day (October 9), Nike (NYSE:NKE +2.62%) is releasing two commemorative Air Force 1 Lows dressed in Korean text embroidery and traditional colors.
The first sneaker is dressed in black leather uppers with Korean alphabet imprints decorating the toe box and lateral panels. The five colors featured on the sneaker are dotted across the geometric text and displayed clearly on the heel counter stripe, denoting the traditional Korean color spectrum known as Obangsaek. Gradient contrast stitching is found outlining the Nike Swoosh and midsoles, and additional gradient hues adorn the tongue tab branding. Below, a black midsole and white rubber outsole complete the look.
The second “Hangul Day” sneaker is a women’s-exclusive featuring a similar design language. Differences include a base color switch from black to cream and Korean text embroidery in place of raised imprints.
The two Nike Air Force 1 Low “Hangul Day” sneakers will release exclusively at Nike Korea for ₩139,000 KRW (approximately $120 USD) October 9.
In other footwear news, the Nike Air Force 1 High Boot receives a “Military Green” colorway.

Nike Air Force 1 Low "Year of the Tiger" Comes Styled With Striped Swooshes
Chinese New Year is always a time that Nike (NYSE:NKE +2.62%) circles on its calendar to make sure it gives the festivities its deserved recognition. And this year, the Beaverton-based sportswear company is treating its consumers with a wide range of new footwear, one being this Nike Air Force 1 Low “Year of the Tiger” that has just been unveiled by way of official imagery.
For this new iteration, the Swoosh design teams implement a handful of striking details that are both vivid and relevant to Chinese culture. Much like Travis Scott’s first Nike Air Force 1 collaboration, the uppers of this rendition are crafted with a white canvas material, and these come overlaid with golden yellow and black tiger-striped Swooshes to echo its zodiac-inspired motif. Instead of the traditional Nike Air branding on the tongues you’ll find a unique “T” logo, and the lateral heels are embroidered with an intricate image of a tiger. The interior liners are drenched with a cherry red hue while bright orange finishes apply to the heels and the entire treading.
There’s no exact release date set in stone for these just yet, but you can likely anticipate Nike to drop these in the coming weeks ahead of Lunar New Year.
For other footwear news, on-foot photos of the Nike Dunk Low “White Barber Shop” have emerged.

Deon Point Reveals A Third Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 Colorway
Thanks to sneaker leakers, it was revealed this past week that Concepts was working on a collaborative Nike Air Max 1. And it wasn’t just one colorway that was revealed; a second very quickly surfaced following the first, each rife with their own share of patterns and colors. And to make things even more exciting, Deon Point himself recently shared a third and likely final pair.
The simplest of the bunch, this iteration forgoes the use of camo and lessens the bandana print. In their place, a ripstop outfits the mudguard, its surface finished in a light olive similar to that which is found in military surplus. Adjacent, a lightwash denim wraps the toe as well as the profile, while the vamp and lace unit add luxurious pops of faux cow fur and red velvet, respectively. Across the back heel, a subtle hit of paisley does take the stage, though its blends in with the graphic-heavy hits at the collar and Swoosh.
For a closer look, check out the full image below. When we hear of a release date, expect to find out here.

Nike SB Dunk Low “Chlorophyll” Set For A November Release
The Nike SB Dunk Low hasn’t been absent throughout the year, but it’s had a much quieter 2021 than 2020. As a new batch of 365 days approaches, however, the modified basketball sneaker is looking to retake the spotlight, with its latest proposition arriving in the form of a nod to the Nike Air Trainer 1 “Chlorophyll.”
The muse, which was designed and debuted by Tinker Hatfield in 1987, is set to celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2022. Nike SB‘s impending release (rumored for November), along with news that Travis Scott has reimagined the silhouette under his Cactus Jack banner, suggest the John McEnroe-endorsed sneaker will have a block-buster celebration. Perforated leather from the multi-sport silhouette appears on the skate shoe’s toe box and mid-foot underlays. High-quality suede takes over the forefoot paneling and profile swooshes, nodding to the Air Trainer 1’s lockdown strap, midsole and own side logos. Faint grey lands throughout the remainder of the shoe, as well as the outsole underfoot, with the titular “Chlorophyll” likely animating branding on the tongue label and spine.
Enjoy a first-look at the pair here below, and anticipate a Nike SNKRS launch come November. Delays have been common throughout the quarter, so a later release may occur.

A Detailed Look at the Quartersnacks x Nike SB Dunk Low
Even though summer is well and truly over, the Nike SB Dunk Summer 2021 line-up is only just getting started. Following the release of collaborations with FTC and Parra, we're now getting a detailed look at the upcoming Quartersnacks x Nike SB Dunk Low, and they're pretty wild to say the least!
Set to be the New York City-based skate magazine's second take on the SB Dunk Low since 2014's "Black", this shoe features an all-leather construction and is decorated with zebra striping throughout. While you might think this is a little random, it's actually a homage to Little Debbie's Zebra Cakes - a go-to snack that has been popularised by the NYC skateboarding scene.
Co-branded detailing is stitched finely onto the tongue while the heel is decorated with Nike Swoosh logo embroidery. Interestingly enough, while this is indeed a SB shoe it comes with a thin tongue rather than the fat one that we're used to for this particular silhouette.
Originally set to drop on September 1st, the Quartersnacks x Nike SB Dunk Low "Zebra" has been delayed until further notice. Make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more release info as it develops, and while you're here, you can still cop these must-have Nike Dunks for retail right here!

The Supreme x Nike SB Dunk High "By Any Means" in "Black/White" as Seen on Foot
Following the on-foot look of the “Brazil” edition, YankeeKicks gives us a 360 view of the Supreme x Nike (NYSE:NKE -0.98%) SB Dunk High “By Any Means” in black and white. Along with a Navy and Red installment, the trio of sneakers is reported to debut in the upcoming weeks.
Shaped up in the signature two-toned colorway, this offering resembles that of the “Panda” design which reverses the shades by opting for a black leather base with white overlays including the main lateral Swoosh. As a nod to the brand’s 2008 “By Any Means” collection, the text is found embroidered on the heel in a script-like font with an outline of the “NY” branding checked off by a mini Swoosh under a white embroidery reading “Supreme Team” by the pull tab. The tongue branding features the brand’s “SUP” text while a “No <3” hits the forefoot of the shoe on the lateral and is capped off with “World Famous” detailing the lace tips. Finishing off the design is a white midsole atop a black rubber outsole.
Look out for the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk High “By Any Means” Black/White to release at Supreme flagship locations and through the brand’s website.
In case you missed it, Noah and adidas Originals returned with a new running-inspired capsule.

Celebrating the 15th-anniversary of the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn series, the white-toned take is inspired by protagonist Banagher Links’ RX-0 Unicorn Gundam in Destroy Mode. The premium white leather upper of the shoe is accented by panels of black with bright red piping elements. Additional detailing elements on the shoe come in the form of interchangeable Swooshes inspired by the horn on the head of the Unicorn Gundam, tongue tags, and printed insoles. Rounding up the design of the shoe are white midsoles complete with red contrast stitching paired with black rubber outsoles and a sheet of decals that mimic the customizing elements included with Gunpla model kits.
