Dan Carter - IRB Player of the Year for 2012.
All Blacks Dan Carter has been named the IRB Player of the Year for 2012, for the second time. The accolade completes a hat-trick of awards for New Zealand, as the All Blacks were named IRB Team of the Year for the sixth time and Steve Hansen the IRB Coach of the Year at the Rugby World Cup 2015 Pool Allocation Draw in London today.
What do you think? You didn’t think Owen Farrel would win did you?

Allianz Park
Saracens have entered a long-term partnership agreement with Allianz this represents a landmark for club rugby in England. Allianz will become the main club sponsor and the innovative north London club’s new home ground in Hendon will be named Allianz Park. Allianz Park, hitherto known as the Copthall stadium, will become a unique venue for Premiership rugby, athletics and community sport. Incorporating an artificial turf pitch and an indoor training area, the new stadium will become a genuine community sports hub, used every day of the year and made available free of charge to local schools.
Sarries will become the first professional rugby union club in the world to play on an entirely artificial pitch when they move to the refurbished stadium next year.
This could be a massive risk, but if it works it will be a massive bonus as they will not have to refurbish the pitch for 10 years. On Saracens match days, Allianz Park will combine the very latest technology in giant screens, sound systems and wireless technology with a traditional warm rugby welcome to create one of the most comfortable and spectator-friendly stadiums in European rugby.

Engalnd Vs New Zealand
Match Report
As the All Blacks Haka started, the crowed all came together drowning them out with the cry of 'swing low sweet chariot' (England rugby song). I thought this was amazing!
England started brightly but it seemed only a matter of time before New Zealand found their gears.
By half-time, this opinion was being severely questioned.
England, with three Farrell penalties and a drop goal, led 12-0 at the break. Dan Carter missed two penalties, but England deserved it for their defensive display which caused a flustered New Zealand into a series of basic errors.
Farrell’s 42nd-minute penalty eased England into a 15-point lead. Six minutes later, Julian Savea did enough to convince Italian TMO, to award a try, converted by Carter. Four minutes after that, Kieran Read crossed after collecting from Conrad Smith. Carter converted again and in the space of four minutes New Zealand had reduced England’s lead to a point.
But the crowd were back on their feet moments later cheering an England try. Barritt burst through the All Black defence and then received a return pass from Tuilagi to touch down.
It swung the momentum back with England and, four minutes later, they scored again, with Tuilagi boshing through Dan Cater and Richie McCaw before releasing Ashton, who had not scored for 11 Tests, for a glorious, 30-metre run to the line. Then to the good old swallow dive! His trade mark. Tom wood was given man of the match, from his outstanding performance.
This is the biggest margin we have ever beat New Zealand by ever! What a Win, COME ON ENGLAND!!

New England Rugby Kit
The new England kit is sponsored by Canterbury and O2. They have stuck with the tradianal white kit for their home kit, there alternate kit is a taking its influence from the purple tracksuits worn by players in the 70s, 80s and early 90s. The purple colour of the shirt honours that tradition, while elegant gold detailing emphasises England’s position as a member of rugby royalty. These kits are personally my favourite kit we have ever had.

Super 15
The Super 15 is the south hemisphere rugby league. Many people say that is the most existing league in the world as it has many of the best players in it. I personally agree with this, the rugby in the Super 15 is much more creative and unpredictable. All of the teams are world class in the Super 15.

George North
George North is a Welsh rugby union player. He plays on the left wing. He is 109 kg (17 st 2 lb) and 1.94 m (6 ft 4 in).
He has broken many records for rugby for example: The youngest try scorer for wales, youngest try scorer in the Rugby World Cup and youngest ever player to get 20 caps for wales.
He is most known for his big hits and try scoring as he brakes the line the whole time. as you can imagine a 6 foot 4 monster running full pace at you, he would be very hard to stop.
He was a very existing player in the 6 nations in 2012 and I reckon he will be even better in the 2013 6 nations. More big hits and more trys!!
