âThatâs part of your charm? Nah, I think your charm lies solely in that jawline of yours. The dimples donât hurt either,â she said with a chuckle, glancing at him for a moment. âYeah, well, being able to one up people in the fucked up baggage department really isnât something Iâm proud of, so feel free to prove me wrong.â Liv hadnât realized when he asked her out that he meant he wanted to go out now. It made panic raise in her significantly since she wouldnât have time to convince herself this wasnât a terrible idea. âFifteen minutes. Now you showing up here nearly at last calls is starting to make sense.â
âSo you think Iâm hot?â He asks with a slight hint of a smile on his face, confidence in his looks were generally higher ever since he was bitten but it never hurt to get told by a chick he liked. âYou wanna play who had it worse? I can think of better ways to spend time hanging out. Maybe instead of talking about the bad crap we should distract each other from it.â He suggests after all, dwelling was the worst thing to do. The less he thought about the crap, the better he felt. âWell I might not be the sharpest tool in the shed but I have pretty good timing.â

đïž Â - do you feel like you have to be involved in saving the town?
If I donât try to save, arenât I just as bad as whoever is trying to destroy it? I donât know I just canât seem to find it in me to sit back and do nothing.
â±ïž  - if you could travel back in time, where would you go? why?
Iâd travel back to before Erica and Boyd ever were even kidnapped, I would protect them from that. Because they deserved more than what they got.

(First off, rude but I will take it)
Isaac laughs through the pain, âYouâre gonna carry me?â He winches at the pain in his gut. âMy feet are gonna drag the whole time there. Whereâs Scott he can actually help. How are you supposed to get me up a while flight of stairs?â

âSome more than others, I feel like,â she said with a scoff, looking away momentarily so he wouldnât see just how much of a mess she actually was written all over her face. âWhatever the opposite of smooth is? Thatâs what you are.â Not that it made him any less appealing to her. His awkwardness was actually kind of endearing. âIs that so? How convenient.â She looked at him for a moment, clearly weighing her options. On one hand, there was no way she could live the rest of her life (how ever long that was) walking on eggshells. On the other, she really didnât want her brother to off this one. âYeah, okay. A friendly get together should be fine.â
-
He could agree there, the levels of mess ranged among the pack, he liked to think he was in the middle of that scale but honestly he had no idea where everyone else rested these days. He smiles, âYeah well, thatâs part of my charm.â Being smooth was never his thing, becoming a wolf certainly helped him compared to how he was but that only went so far. âYeah I mean i could tell you about it but you seem like you might be one of those one uppers and I donât think I can cut it.â He was half joking but at the same time there was a pain in the air, if he werenât a wolf he might not have noticed it as clearly. âCool. So when do you get out of here?â He asks looking around the bar, âBest view is at night believe it or not.â

Erica nodded her head dismissively. She wouldnât be caught dead sitting across from Allison. This wasnât a petty squabble amongst teenage girls. Allison shot her with arrows meant to kill her. There were somethings that even with a supernatural aspect to it wasnât something you got over. Erica may learn to tolerate her if she ever joined McCallâs pack, but thatâs as far as it would go. Isaacâs confession had Erica steel her looks. âDid you know she tried to kill me and Boyd?â She asked. It wasnât demanding but she was peeved. Erica would let everyone burn before she would fraternize with someone who tried to hurt Boyd or Isaac. Erica did know that Allison was probably the first girl Isaac has ever dated. âIâm sorry that you lost her.â Erica sympathy only outstretched to Isaacâs pain.Â
âDoing nothing is just as bad,â She insisted. Erica didnât want to go tit-for-tat over Derek or Allison. She just wanted to relish in the fact that Isaacâs alive and he did well for himself. She needed to hold onto him like he was an anchor. Erica felt sick to her stomach knowing that Boyd was just used in a horrible game for the Alpha Pack. She shook her head sadly, staring at the floor. Erica was seething mad at the Alpha pack. She wanted to rip them limb from limb and scattered their remains over the entire state of California. âYou killed them right? At least tell me you fucking killed them.â She had to suck in her tears. Erica didnât want to cry because she felt weak. She needed to be stronger than ever before. Erica lifted her head slowly, chewing on her bottom lip. âI- uh⊠I donât think itâs that bad but I sold my soul to the devil?âÂ
-
He runs his tongue over his teeth trying to think of what to say, things werenât so black and white and he knew that she couldnât be happy about it. âAllison made a lot of mistakes, I canât make excuses for her. She cut me up with knives, tried to hurt you guys, went for Derek but weâve all made mistakes and weâve all had to come together.â It was as lame as anything went but honestly holding a grudge when they had to work together wasnât going to help anyone. âShe also tried to help the pack, she wanted to stop the alphas as much as any of us.â He nods, âThanks, her dad took me with him to France. Heâs a good guy.â She would need time to see it and maybe her stubbornness would mean sheâd never accept it.
âTrust me I know. I wasnât shy about telling him how much he was letting us down, it was one thing that he let you and Boyd die, then he was sleeping with some killer. I think giving up his alpha status might have been the best thing for him to do.â And not just for those around him but for Derek himself, he reached new levels without being an alpha. âThey are dead but I canât take credit, the twins lost their alpha status, joined Scott and then some time after one of them died. All the others were killed but one and I donât know where he ended up he was some creepy blind guy.â He shrugs at least the others got what was coming to them. âKali got stabbed all over with glass, too much to heal from it. She got off easy if you ask me but sheâs dead.â He wasnât sure how he would have felt if Scott was able to get his way in the âno killingâ ruling, so Isaac was thankful for Jennifer. His jaw fell slack. âErica! I donât know what you do with a soul but I am pretty damn sure that its not good to sell it to the devil. Its pretty frowned upon, why would you do that? But at the same time; THE DEVIL IS HERE?â He raised his voice now, something Isaac didnât do often but the shock of such news he figured it was warranted.Â

Hearing Isaacâs words, the hunter paused, sighing softly as his gaze scanned their surroundings. âYea⊠I was, too. But this town has a way about it, especially in moments like theseâŠâ He chuckled, looking over to the werewolf. âYou helped build that, Iâm sure everything will be fine.â Chris shrugged.Â
Maybe it was the age, maybe it was Allisonâs return. Either way, Chris was finding himself very emotional as of his return to town. Receiving credit from Isaac almost made him choke. âYouâre too humble, kid. You done plenty good all by yourself,â Chris promised him, smiling and nodding in approval. Having formed the relationship he had with the werewolf had been unexpected, but it had helped the both of them and it had kept Chrisâ hope alive.Â
Isaacâs further poking at his ego made the hunter chuckle. âYou talk a lot for someone who knows how well I am always armed,â he pointed out in jest. âWatch it, kid, or Iâll end up asking for a place to crash.â
-
He knew the hunter was going to try and sooth him about being back in town, though he felt him being late to come back would be noticed. Or at least it was his own guilt eating away at him. âYeah, its not like Scott or anyone would hold a grudge or anything.â He says with a weak smile to the other before sitting back in his seat.
Isaac offers a more genuine smile at the older males assurance that he did a lot of the work that got him where he was. Where his old man would have shamed him and found something wrong with what he did. That he didnât have a job that paid enough, that his place was crap. Isaac however wasnât interested in making his old man proud even if he were alive but making Chris proud, that was something that he strives for.
He laughs, âThatâs cause I know if you were gonna shoot me it would have been a long time ago.â He beams at the man knowing he was pushing buttons but he found out awhile ago it didnât seem what mistakes he made or how big his mouth got, Chris never raised a hand to him unless it was in some training. âHey as long as you like a good couch or well in this case a good enough couch, I figure I owe it.â He however doubted that Chris wanted to be staying on his couch when he could get the comfort of a rented house or hell even one of Derekâs lofts. âBut on the topic of my running my mouth, thereâs chance the town will get more than its used to. Guess my dad took more secrets to his grave than I thought, turns out I have some twin brother I never knew about.â

Closed for @betaisaacâ
Even though he was the inspiration for her move, Salena had been putting off going to see Isaac. Whilst they had grown to be great friends in Europe, she didnât know how he would react to her being here. She really hoped that it didnât freak him out. God, she hoped she wasnât about to ruin the friendship theyâd built. She double checked the house number against the letter in her hand. This was the place. She stood for a few seconds, gathering the courage to knock on the door. She steadied herself, before lightly tapping the door. It was only a moment later when Isaac appeared..
âHiâ she said, unable to stop a large grin appearing on her face âfancy seeing you here.â Humour had always been Lenaâs first form of defence. She wasnât good with being vulnerable. It was much easier to hide behind the energetic, cheery persona she played.Â
Living above the auto shop he worked at wasnât awful, it was his own space, had a kitchen, bathroom and a bathroom, its all he really ever needed. He was just enjoying a day off at home, still hiding away from the town. He had hopes that most forgot about him, since he had been thought as the kid who might have murdered his own father at one point. It took time to get used to being back in town. Hearing the knock on the door he wondered if it was Scott or Allison trying to get him out and about.
Answering the door his jaw dropped at the sight of Salena at the door and his smile vanished. âLena, what the hell are you doing here?â It wasnât that he wasnât glad to see her, she had become one of his closest friends out of the states. Really was a godsend when it came to keeping his sanity. However now she like everyone else supernatural was stuck in town. âDamn I mean, come on in.â

đđđ¶đđđ đ»đ¶đ đđđđđđœ đđœđ¶đ đđđ đđđđ đđđđđđđđ»; He parked the car next to the mechanic shop, a beautiful, shiny, light blue 1969 Chevy Camaro Covertible, the car had been a part of his life for a long time, becoming a small part of his soul, his companion on long roads, his escape. The vampire was careful with his purchase, making constant repairs and overhauls to make sure the vehicle was in perfect condition, and the next one on the list was scheduled for that afternoon.
He got out of the car, not bothering to lock it, and walked towards the entrance to the establishment, throwing the key in the air only to grab it again a few times, a slight form of entertainment. The sun was shining as the rays gently burned his pale skin, which would turn slightly red, with a constant burning sensation a few hours later. He came across a young man who was sitting outside, leisurely tasting an apple and had made a comment on the California climate âUnfortunately not everyone can enjoy the sunshineâ said approaching, he could only walk in the daylight if he was wearing his sunlight ring, which had been stolen by his brother Stefan once, keeping Damon trapped in his own home, as a kind of house arrest âDo you know where I can find a good mechanic? My car needs an overhaul, I have been having some problems recentlyâ
-
Isaac looks over as the classic car drives up and parks, seeing the guy climb out he watched as he made his way over. He wasnât someone that Isaac knew and he wondered what his story was but didnât make a big deal of it. âI would say they shouldnât make the stupid choice of moving to California, should think more about a rainy kind of place.â He answers looking the other over, the smell of death clung to him like the creatures he ran across in France. Vampires, what a shock that was. He looks around the guy at the car and nods, âI work at the shop over there actually.â He bites into his apple and offers his hand to the other, âNameâs Isaac. What sort of problems?âÂ

It wasnât just that Isaac was tall, it was that now he seemed to tower over Scott. How long had it even been? Had Scott not grown even an inch? His father was pretty tall⊠All he got was a crooked jawâŠÂ âI missed you. We missed you,â he quickly began speaking at the Beta, hanging from his neck like a baby monkey. He wouldâve cried a little had he not been fearful Isaac wouldâve yeeted him and ran straight into the barrier.Â
âWhat you mean?â he asked, almost hurt when Isaac hinted at his welcome to town being any different, touching ground once again. When Isaac apologized, Scottâs goofy demeanor soften. He stood a little straighter, bright smile on his lips. âYou have nothing to apologize for,â he assured Isaac. âCome on in,â he encouraged, holding the door open. âDeatonâs been MIA, so⊠this is pretty much the current hang out.â
-
Isaac had been a lanky kid, taller than many in his class he just hunched over a lot when he was younger. One last growth spurt had shot him up taller than most he knew, through it was almost laughable how much taller he was than the alpha. He smiles and nods, âIâm...yeah I missed you guys too. Some more than others but yeah.â He pats Scottâs back with a laugh, âHowâs your mom?â Melissa McCall was an angel as far as Isaac was concerned and he hoped things were good for her.
He could see he hit a nerve even if he didnât mean to, âOh, nothing. Seriously I know youâve always done good by me Scott. I just- not coming back when Chris had. I thought maybe you guys read it wrong or maybe thought...I donât know.â He wasnât sure if he was making an ass out of himself thinking the worst but it was all he could do. Stepping in he looked around, âHeâs okay though? I heard there were some murders in town before I got here.â He hadnât hear details, only about the mayor. âI actually have something I need to talk to you about.â

âYour friends are messes? Well, that doesnât exactly reflect well on you, does it?â Liv said, a single corner of her lips turning up into a smirk. It wasnât as if the people around her had much going on for them either. Her only living relative was an actual psychopath and the rest were dead. âFirst date? Youâre asking me on a date? I just told you about my moving truck full of emotional baggage and you want to take me out?â This guy was certifiably insane, this proved it. âNo, I donât have a boyfriend. That ship has sailed long ago. Dating me is like⊠well, not to be dramatic, but itâs pretty much a death sentence. A curse, if you will.â She sighed, shrugging nonchalantly. She didnât actually want to turn him down, but it felt like the right thing to do. âIâm fine with the woods. Or the view.â
âIsnât everyone kind of a mess? I mean finding a put together person, Iâm gonna say theyâre likely a crazy person or robot.â Isaac didnât think there was a person alive that didnât have some kind of trouble going on in their life. âWell....I didnât mean-I guess I was.â Dating wasnât his strongest suit since the first girl he really ever got involved with was murdered practically in front of him. Playing the field after that was more like moving through a mine field. âAhh thatâs kind of funny in a not so funny way, cause I might be just as cursed. Maybe the two will cancel themselves out, I donât know how that works but..â He shrugs figuring it was worth checking out. âAlright well how about we call it a friendly get together instead and get around the whole âdeadly cursedâ bit?â

âThey dated for a while, then broke up and got back together again. Not sure where Kira went⊠I didnât like to ask in case it was a sore subject.â She muttered, hoping that the other was doing okay, wherever she was. âI havenât hung out with Malia all that much, but Iâve only heard good things from Scott and Derek. Though I guess theyâre both biased.
âThatâs gonna be my new mission then. Harassing you more than you ever thought possible.â She joked, shaking her head. âBut seriously, Iâm not working at the moment, and Derekâs working over at the diner, so I canât hang out with him either, so I guess youâre stuck with me.âÂ
âAh⊠yeah. True.â She nodded, realising the last thing her dad had probably wanted to do was teach someone else archery. âI shouldâve thought about tutoring, but I might be a little rusty after all this time. Thereâs a guy in town that I met in France though, Dimitri, if you come by him. Heâs an Alpha werewolf, donât think heâs looking to build a pack though.
Isaac nods making note of that but honestly he couldnât help himself if they subject was ever brought up. His curious nature would overcome not that heâd push for that kind of information. âI donât know I think Derek would be pretty blunt about it if anyone wasnât stand up, its not like he said the best things about Peter.â Though that was when the death of his older sister was pretty fresh.
âYou spend a lot of time with Derek these days?â Isaac had noticed she mentioned him a few times in their conversations and he couldnât help but pick up on it. âI mean sure, nothing much I canât do here while talking or whatever. You might get bored as hell though.â He points out with a chuckle. Looking up at the mention of another alpha in town, not sure how he felt about it. âAlpha without a pack doesnât sound like much of an alpha.â
