Every Better Call Saul Frame on twitter is a gold mine bc 1) it's a fountain of meme materials and 2) it's a great way to capture face journeys.
Like the three frames of Nacho's reaction to Gustavo asking what Lalo's been planning almost made me cackle at work:

That's the face of a man who had to briefly relive weeks of Lalo Salamanca Talking. He's in so much pain. It's so funny.

Reopening "Burn" (lacho fanfic) just to scroll through it, wondering what the hell I was doing at the time because I somehow forgot so much I wrote (I did so much content at the time, I was in a creative high so I forgot a lot). And because I may want to have a lacho place to keep just writing stuff without pressure for the good and deeply thought narrative, and "Burn" was that place for me at the time.
And oooooh lord.
What in the hell.
This is SUCH a wild fanfic 💀 (to my level of personal "wild" that is) but rediscovering this shit is like, a very nice thing. I'm gonna say this without any big ego, but rather with the means to communicate a good feeling, something that I hope every creators who thinks too harshly of their work will experiment at least once at some point.
And the thing here is; I really enjoy how efficient I was while writing this, —even if I still see all the things I don't like in it— like, it's a genuine relief and so reassuring to realize that you can do something you'll still enjoy to that level later on. It's just so rare, really. And it isn't even the most energy demanding one, like I wrote those in such a "no second thoughts" energy, and somehow it brings some very interesting things out. A good reminder not to do everything at 100% all the time, that what matters is the intent. That's whats weight so much more in time, the thing that connect to people and surpass the style imo.
Realizing all of this while speaking about how two cartel dudes ends up fucking nasty is certainly something.
Anyway, still a big energy boost for creation here.

So yeah, new lacho comics in the making >_> (the lalo comes back in time and remembers everything thingy)
Approximately 4-5 pages if I can be reasonable. I just hope the fight scene won't block me (actions in comics is so hard to make). If it ends up blocking me I'll post what's done tho, it's going fine so far (3 pages)

Red Lie by Hannibaquila / @themadknightuniverse (this fic is only viewable to those with an ao3 account, you can ask @themadknightuniverse for a pdf though)
He wouldn't fall for the illusion of care these fingers tried to made him believe in. Unwillingly, he turned his face towards the man. The hand followed him, and once he stilled, it cupped his jaw more fully into a more pronounced caress. Ignacio looked into the dark orbs facing him. There was no escaping the wrath flashing deep in them. It was all a question of how much Nacho was willing to go through before giving Lalo an answer. Lalo who was simply waiting now, attention unflinching, his thumb stroking Nacho's cheek as his hand slipped under Nacho's ear to cup his neck, thumb coming to rest at the corner of his jaw.
