If all you do is ask God for things and don’t let Him act then you will never be able to see His glory.

In other words, if you lose your job and have bills to pay and you ask God to supply money, but all you do is worry about where the money is going to come from. And you get desperate and fall into whatever kind of job then you are not letting God work. You are trying to take matters into your owns hands and you’re not allowing God to do what He plans on doing.

Give it to God, forget it, and watch God show Himself faithful.
