Mother's Day was wonderful, and although I am technically an almost mom, I was spoiled anyways. The girls and I took a trip to the beach together. Despite being 37 weeks pregnant and incredibly uncomfortable, it was so much fun. I am so thankful to have all of them in my life. By time I got home James Bryan had cleaned my car, gotten me two cards, and bought me my not so diaper bag diaper bag. Later on we went to see JB's family. It was really sweet to receive a VB bangle that says mom on it, and matches all the moms in his family's bracelets. Getting more tired and more excited with each day... Dad and I are ready for you Max!

It's been a while
Since I last wrote. Things have been so hectic lately and by time I have been laying down for bed, I have no energy to keep my eyes open, let alone let my creative energy process. So here I am on a twenty minute break at work, I've worked two doubles in a row and am now onto my long Saturday. My feet and ankles are filled with fluid and I'm not sure I'm going to make it through today. My belly has really popped in the past two three weeks, and baby and I are finally starting to put on our weight! (Bittersweet) James Bryan is back at work, and I had my baby shower this past Sunday. It was really nice, although quite overwhelming for someone like me. I couldn't be more thankful for all of the gifts that are going to help us out so much! Since the shower I have started to dreft clean all of Max's sheets, bibs, blankets, and clothes. Who knew that such tiny articles of clothing could leave such a huge feeling in my chest! He is going to be perfect, as any mom would believe their child to be... But I can't even stand the thought of finally seeing him and holding him!! I have to admit I haven't been the easiest to deal with in the past month, and Jay and I have had a lot of stressful obstacles we had to get past. But we did it and we will continue to do it for not only Max but for each other. It is an incredibly secure feeling that our relationship is more than just being pregnant together... I still care genuinely about what goes on between us, which I know is easy to lose sight of when a little one comes into play. Both the happiness of the baby and of Jay are priority over my self, always. Things are going to be great.

Fetal growth scan this morning: 33 wks Healthy little baby a little more than 4 lbs! We got to see you moving your hands past your round little nose and tiny baby lips. I couldn't believe we were finally putting little parts of your face to your name. Speaking of, dad had been pondering your name late at night. He wakes me up with random thoughts and changes. Your middle name will be Ander, but instead of Maximus we may just leave it Max. Either way you'll be cute as anything. Max Ander.... I like it :)
