Definitely been said before, but Andrew didn't just stop because Neil was having a 'nervous breakdown'. He stopped because when he kisses someone he expects to be used, hurt, wanted in a needy way that curbs all respect; even with Roland this was partially the case (COUGH he ended up using handcuffs with the guy). A delicate hand on his sleeve, refusing to even graze his skin, was absolutely not what Andrew was anticipating and that's what really freaked him out.

Neil was the first person to treat Andrew in a way that implied feeling, not just lust or greed or abuse. Andrew couldn't get self-destructively lost in that; it pulled him out. It reinforced the pipe dream and made it real simultaneously.

Imagine Andrew stopped smoking and switched over to lollipops to help with his lingering oral fixation. Just Andrew Minyard, PSU’s #3 goalie carrying around a red lollipop all day, every day. He sits across from Neil and makes a show of rolling his tongue around it, maintaining eye contact with Neil who is very obviously into it as Andrew pulls the sucker out with an audible ‘pop!’ It’s an open invite & Neil is ready to accept it just as soon as practice ends. Once Wymack gives them the go-ahead to leave, Neil is trailing Andrew to the showers where he knows he’s about to get the best blow job of his entire life (again) and if Andrew lets him, Neil will be glad to reciprocate it (he does)

i love thinking about neil sleeping in the passenger seat while andrew is driving, and andrew just glancing at him from time to time and making sure that the ac is on and that the music is not too loud. he's also driving extra carefully, making sure that the drive is as comfortable as possible for him. and then when they arrive, he just stares and neil's face and reaches out to gently brush his fingers over it, but quickly changes his mind and just kind of nudges him. can't be caught having feelings like that. but it's not like neil doesn't know, of course he does. he loves andrew's caring side so much that sometimes he even pretends to be asleep just to see what he'll do

Jeremy Knox 10/10 character because the way he was portrayed to be this happy go lucky down to earth normal guy and then we get his pov and he’s like hi I am Gay I have Mommy Issues my brother killed himself while I was being arrested for doing Cocaine and having Gay Sex, I sleep with men who Hate Me to have some semblance of control, Sometimes I will have a panic attack Cigarette and I Don’t Sleep :)

Jean saying “I am sorry about your dog” was wild work. Jean thinking about the loss of Barkbark BEFORE Jeremy did was wild work. Jer trying to hide his sadness and saying “are you? I thought you hated him” only for Jean to come back immediately and say “you didn’t” like it was all that mattered was WILD WORK!
