Ivy had spent some time (timidly) asking Ria's opinions on the various flowers sold in the shop, finding out which were her favorite. When it came time for her to pay and be on her way, however, she went to hand the flowers to Ria. "These... are for you actually... I j-just wanted to say thank you."

There was a soft chuckle as she took the small bouquet from the other woman. “Well thank you then! I’ll make sure they’re well cared for when I take them home. You didn’t have to you know, Ivy. It’s part of my job.“

She hadn’t quite expected her to rattle off these questions so eagerly... but then again, what should she have expected, honestly? Nevertheless, the surprise of it all caused her to go stiff for a split second, her eyes visible for a longer moment this time before she regained her composure.

“Um... no. I don’t have any p-pets. And i-indoor, please... something that can survive in cooler temperatures as well, if you have anything like that...”

The girl waited until the late afternoon when the flow shop was beyond dead. Even then, she didn't like this. Gods, she hated how much she isolated herself, but what choice did she have? Just breathe, she thought, get what you need and get out. Ivy slowly opened the door and gently led it back to its resting place before carefully approaching the counter. Ria had been telling the truth. It was only her here. Good. That made things easier, at lest. "E-excuse me?"

“Good afternoon!“ She perked, recognizing the other from a previous encounter. “What can I help you with today?“

It had been a number of weeks now that the tall, hooded girl would come by the flower shop every few days or so. At first, she had kept her distance, admiring the place from the street corner. Eventually, she worked up the courage to go closer, walking by the flowers that were out front. She never stayed long, though. She had a sense of urgency about her - like she was trying to go unnoticed. Today, however, there wasn't much food traffic. So, she decided to take her time as she passed for once.

“Ma’am?“ Ria asked softly as she changed out the outdoor display. “Can I help you with anything?“

She had seen the stranger outside for weeks now almost. So finally being face to face with her like this? She couldn’t help but inquire.
