sorry taking the caffeine pill (surely no one thought I was going to wait for an answer about a potential bad idea- that's so silly) has made me remember the one time I offered one to DB (dad boss) because he was whining that he couldn't drink coffee because he had his teeth worked on and was told to take a break for a few days.

Note: While this doesn't seem like such a huge thing, it is quite a notable point. The use of someone's first name tends to denote closeness of a relationship. While Keishi is referred to his first name and without a pronoun by the entire department, it was something that was decided on because of convenience and everyone in the department does it. However, since Suzume is in a more senior position (and is older) in the department, he is referred to as "Tojo san" by all of his staff. Thus, the use of "Suzume san" was probably enough to get Mr. Busybody's attention.
