—≪👑≫”Is that why you choose to destroy my children? To allow yourself to get off?”
She reached down, grasping her by the collar of her clothes.
“Who are you? Which side are you on? Speak fast or else I’ll end you swiftly.”
Angry Queen of Blades is angry ™ .
@beyondhyperspace
The Princess found herself in an unusual place. Everything in the city was unlike anything she’d ever seen before. Technology that didn’t seemed like it relied on magic but didn’t was everywhere. A quick check on the flow of magic gave unexpected results. The power was untouched, no one was tapping into it. With a smile the young woman let her own magic take the form of miasma and allowed it to meld. It’d take a bit of time before it was completely tainted, but for now she’d have some fun.
When she went to on the hunt for someone to seduce or torture, possibly even both, Viessa was met with an interesting problem. Conflict had erupted and alarms were going off. Based on the words of those who responded and the ones who fled for their lives beings called “Zerg” and the “Queen of Blades” had shown up. It wasn’t the canine’s place to interfere, but she was interested in the bloodshed. With a gleeful smile she watched the fight unfold, only subduing Zerg that would come after her. The rest needed to fend for themselves.
“This is wonderful. The fear, the hatred… It can really get a girl going.” She remarked with a giggle as her tail wagged.

“Formalities?” Monica asked with a confused tone. “I was just talking in ways I thought would be better. You said you were a Queen after all.” The young woman explained.
Lucu had been uneasy as the pair had followed the woman. Monica had assured him over and over that the pair were safe, but he couldn’t help but warn her that while their strength was above average they were still in the company of someone he could tell could end their lives at the snap of a finger.
We’re fine Lucu. Monica assured once more. She could feel the nervous trembling of the hooded sweatshirt, shorts, stockings and boots she wore. We can’t fight her if we’re in danger, but we can run. You’ve always kept me safe, and I’ll always be your confidence. So calm down okay?
 Yeah… Sorry.
“Where are we?” She inquired once Lucu seemed to relax a bit.
—≪👑≫”I may be a Queen, but I’m obvious not your queen. You’re not of the collective and you’ve no reason to serve me. At least not yet.”
She paused, ushering the few zerglings in her quarters to leave.
“We are aboard my Leviathan. It’s a sort of ship... Do you have no knowledge of how you came to be here, girl?”

“Your eyes. They look as fractured and distraught as mine.” Superbia remarked. “As if you don’t feel whole. As if your very own persona is as fragile as a castle of glass. That is how we are similar.”
Today was a day where the hybrid felt much more stable than ever. Though to be fair the half breed felt more stable in the other woman’s presence than she had any other. It even lead her to following her around like a lost child.
—≪7 o’ 9≫ “I... See your point. I do not know what my personality is... I was part of the Borg collective since my childhood... It has severely altered my humanity. Captain Janeway is trying to help me... Relocate it. Allow me to be human again.”
She eyed her very carefully. She wondered whatever made the Captain think it wise to put her with another unstable being. She supposed she had some sort of foolish notion or the other.

“Indeed. I… I should no longer exist.” Stella explained. “Magic no longer seems to exist anywhere, and even the magic of my borrowed soul extinguished long ago. To be honest, I’ve no clue how my body stayed in perfect condition in that museum nor do I understand how I returned to a conscious state.”
It was one big mystery. Everything was so different. Magic, the biggest source of Stella’s power was noticibly absent from the universe in this day and age. Yet she stood here, ‘alive’ and well, her functions unhampered. This return planted fear in her mind. As one who never sleeps, would she some day grow tired and nearly sleep forever again? The thought of saying goodbye to the countless experiences around her again was scary.
“I am a Magic Doll. Artificial life created by magic. I can only seem so human because my experiences allowed me to grow to resemble one. It is difficult to adapt in an age where you do not fit in.”
—≪7 o’ 9≫”Magic... A form of power many claim to have... Especially thousands of years ago. You’re telling me you exist of it?”
She grabbed a tricorder off the table, opening it to begin examining her... Everything came up with weird readings. The device had no idea what she was... Yet the logical part of Annika’s brain dictated it could not be magic. It had to be some other phenomenon.

wolfofthegray:
The detonation was the signal he’d waited for. The firing upon the large metal crate he hid behind stopped as everyone began to evacuate. Much like those Warwick was tasked with distracting he made haste for the outside. Once at the rendezvous point the wolf waited. Three minutes passed and there was no sign of Nova.
“Where is she..?” Warwick pondered before looking back to the crumbling building. “It’s not possible that you screwed up is it? November, I’m coming.” He promised
Once more the Chem-Core was overclocked, but now to the point that it was vibrating and humming ever so slightly. Getting back inside wasn’t easy. There was plenty of debris to dig through and move around. while running through the connecting corridors from the mostly destroyed back the wolf was reckless. Warwick went as far as violently tackling against some obstacles to force his way through. While running through the ceiling gave way a bit and a jagged pipe slipped from above and caught just above the wolf’s eyes. The large gash left began to bleed and obstruct his vision. He was literally seeing red.
Pushing on amidst the destruction the wolf continued to follow his partner’s scent. A new problem arose when he finally found her. With his sight becoming more and more unreliable Warwick was left to reply on his own scent to return back the way they came. He’d need to continue moving on all fours and putting her on his back in this state wasn’t a good idea. Being as gentle as possible Warwick picked up Nova’s middle in his maw and began to follow his own trail with haste. At the least he was relieved to find she was alive.
A substantial effort was made for the pair to make it out safely, though the tense and blind wolf didn’t allow himself to relax at all until they were hiding near the rendezvous point. Still unable to relax Warwick laid Nova down and stood directly over her body. His ears were perked and he sniffed often. His rushing may have temporarily robbed him of sight, but he would still be alert enough to keep her safe.
—≪🍂≫ “Warwick...”
She slowly came to... God there was such pain in her body. Her attention snapped to the wolf, despite her body screaming out. There was blood... So much blood on his face. She reached for the bottle clipped to her belt... Good. It still had water in it.
“Warwick, come here, let me wash out your eyes.”

“I know I can.” Amelie replied with a tone of confidence.
The French sniper looked around for a good vantage before settling on an interesting idea. Using her grappling hook she propelled herself into the air before doing a back flip. While coming out of it Widowmaker steadied her aim and fired her shot before landing with great finesse.
Tumblr media
“Does that bulls eye work for you cheri?” She inquired in a victorious tone while carrying a smug expression.
—≪🍂≫”Oh, yes, it does. In fact, I’m positive that kind of shooting could have the power to turn most straight women gay.”
A laugh from her. Ah... She wasn’t even going to bother to show that shot up. There wasn’t much she could do aside from attempt to match it. Let her win for now, there would come a time when Nova could win.

—≪7 o’ 9≫ “I can understand. I felt the same way when Captain Janeway brought me onto Voyager three years ago. It’s taken a lot of time for me to adapt to how the human way of doing things are. Tell me... What are you? You’re not human are you?”
She stopped her typing to look up at the woman, curiosity being peaked enough to try to take interest in the other.

—≪7 o’ 9≫ “What do you think you are doing? Those are my regeneration spaces… They do not require cleaning.”
“My apologies.” Stella replied before bowing. “I am still uncertain about all of these new things. They are unusual to me, out of place in my mind.” She continued to apologize. “Though many things feel foreign to me anymore.”

—≪🦋≫”Tell me your name... Who you are? That was extraordinary.”
Even she couldn’t take care of all of that, with her powers as strong as they were. This woman however... She had absorbed it, as though everything around them was made of digital data.

—≪🦋≫”Please… Please help me….”
She was trapped under rubble, swallowing hard. The pain was excruciating.
Cynthia gave a nod before raising her hands toward the rubble. Her fingers began to move as if she were typing on a keyboard. This behavior continued for a good three minutes before she stopped. The AI stepped over and placed her hand on each piece of debris. One by one they were all transferred into digital information within her being until the woman was freed.
 “Anything else I can do?”

—≪👑≫ “Leave us.”
She motioned to those around her, they quickly leaving their Queen alone with this one. Should Kerrigan need her, she only but need to call for them with her mind.
“I’m afraid I don’t know anything about your or your race either... I see a fair trade. As you know... I am the Queen of Blades. The heart of the swarm... The Zerg. I will not bother you so long as you don’t interfere with my plans. I only seek to bring an end to one man... A man who has brought so much pain and suffering to many races. I allow my swarm to adapt and grow stronger, so that we might bring the punishment he much deserves.”

—≪👑≫”What do you wish from me? You’ve got a lot of gall to show up here.”
Manea narrowed her eyes. There was irony found in the Gall comment. The woman before her, the Queen of Blades as she was called, was a unique being. Her biological make up roused hints of being human, but other things as well. Unidentifiable genetic code.
“Information. I wish to request information on what you and your kind are. Your species is new to my own and as Queen it falls to me to identify if a species may pose a threat to the safety of mine.” The organic robot explained. “I can offer my own information in return. A fair deal?”

“If that could kill me perhaps it’d give me something to look forward to.” Cynthia answered. “I apologize for scaring you, I felt you could use some companionship.”
The same could be said for the AI. The poor girl was lonesome after having been so alone in this universe for hundreds of years.
—≪🍂≫”I see. What... Are you? I don’t feel as though you’re human.”
She couldn’t really get a lock on her with her mind... Which unnerved Nova. She sat back in her pilot seat, deciding not to launch the shuttle just yet.

—≪☕≫”You… Are truly extraordinary. Please.. Tell me more about yourself.”
Cynthia seated herself on nothing but air while offering a coy smile. She had only recently displayed her ability to connect to the Voyager, though she made it well known that nothing would be done outside of her light show. The ship had intercepted her travel and thus downloaded the AI into its mainframe.
“My name is Cynthia.” The AI began. “I was once a human, born in… I’m sorry for the pause. In my travels I’ve learned that there are many things I know that must be kept behind closed doors.” Cynthia apologized. “I was born a human girl with cybernetic implants. Eventually I became what you see now. Though I’ve at least one secret I will freely reveal.”
The blond lowered herself to the ground. For now it at least looked like she was standing, but a point was made by sticking her foot through the floor. Afterwards Cynthia returned to standing properly before her digital form swapped to solid matter. Once more her point was proven by a couple of light taps with her foot to produce sound.
“I’m as flesh and blood as I deem necessary.”
—≪☕≫”Fascinating. So you can change your form freely... I can’t even imagine the kind of power that gives you. You seem to be... Very knowledgeable about various things... Just how long have you been around?”
She folded her hands under her chin, leaning forward on the desk. There were numerous questions floating around in her head... Did she have any sort of knowledge of technology that would grant them a way home faster out of the Delta Quadrant? Or at least something they could do to alter their weapons to better survive out here?

—≪☕≫”Excuse me, do you mind explaining what you’re doing in my quarters at two am?”
“Studying.” Manea replied in a matter-of-fact tone. “You’re rare for a human. At least compared to the ones I’ve met.”
Granted most of Manea’s experience with humans was purely war and suffering based, but that didn’t change the fact that humans were still a moral gray area for her.
—≪☕≫”I see. Well, I suppose I can get more coffee brewing... Is there anything I can get you?”
A small sigh escaped the captain’s lips. She had hoped to get to read a little to relax from the stressful events,  but it seemed their new guest had other plans. She didn’t much feel like finding out what would happen if she turned her away either.
“What makes me so ‘rare’, might I ask?”

>>🌙>> “If so, I’m grateful. But, really, did you have to do it in public? Was there no other way to silence him?”
In fact, her story did match what her guard had found upon locating the man’s house. Similar, lethal technology, too advanced for any plain civilian to own.
“As for containment, no regular prison could hold you, I know. But you know who I am. I’ve met assassins and bounty hunters, and they take extra care to know the location they do their jobs in. So you know I could trap you in ways none of your technology could aid you in.”
She matched the confident aura Nova was putting out with her own, a smile curling around the edge of her lips.
“I’m willing to forgive and forget, though. If you’d help me with a problem of my own, of course.”
—≪🍂≫”Unfortunately, he decided the best defense was to keep out in the public’s eye. I had no other choice, I assure you. Like you I prefer to keep things... Quiet.”
The blonde looked her up at down, sizing her up. If a queen needed something done, it had to be dirty work for sure. Nova wasn’t against that, providing it was something she felt needed to be taken care of as well.
“I’m willing to listen to your offer.”

}{💎}{ “Oh, I’m not Zerg. But I’ve seen plenty of them. They’re fascinating, really. The way they can change so rapidly, it’s much like my own kind … I knew I had to find you! The Queen of Blades, ruler of the Zerg!”
She skittered forward, utterly unafraid of Kerrigan, peering into her eyes.
“We don’t look too unalike, really. I love your hair, it’s so much like my tail!”
—≪👑≫ “And what exactly are your kind?”
Normally, she supposed she would be irritated with the energy of the other... Yet it seemed to put her at ease, especially after how the day had gone. She folded her wings back, leg crossing over the other, while her chin wen to rest upon her hand.
In fact, she kind of found her cute... Someone unafraid of her, the Queen of Blades, despite all the madness going on around her. Maybe she would keep her as a pet.

—≪🍂≫”Perfect.”
His distraction provided the perfect cover for the cloaked sniper to get to her destination. In the three minutes allotted, she had the shields down. Phase two was now in motion, she starting to get onto the catwalks. Her cloak would fail in this place. Which is exactly why– Ahh. Yes. There he was. Careening down the path… Those poor mercenaries would have no idea what was about to collide with them.
The first few people the wolf went crashing into had the unfortunately luck of being hit with the force of a small vehicle moving at top speed. What came after in their dazed state was the powerful mass of fur bringing his claws and fangs down upon them. Even worse was the fact that their poor corpses got used as rag dolls to be flung at some of the ones who were firing upon him.
As much as Warwick wanted to, he kept his gaze away from the catwalk. He didn’t want to linger or have his actions interpreted as a sort of concern as that might draw his enemies up to where the wolf’s partner was supposed to be. He tore into anything and everything he could from crates, to vehicles and people. Despite his efforts the wolf ended up being pinned down by suppressing fire that forced him behind a large steel box.
Everything is going according to plan. These poor people, being stuck with their worst nightmare. They think I’m stuck in here with them. I suppose I shouldn’t belittle the optimistic thought too much, everyone needs hope. Even if it’s false.
—≪🍂≫ “Just a bit longer...”
She took out a few guards up on the catwalks... Unfortunate for them, the people down below were too concerned with the ‘terror’ that was lurking with them. Once she was at the station, she started to work swiftly. She knew while doing this, her cloaking device would be receiving severe interference.
Bypassing the security, she was able to get in and cause the breach. Temporarily. A higher access had belayed it, causing the ghost to utter a curse under her breath. She would have to resort to other measures. Luckily, she had already planned for something like this, hence why they infiltrated this floor. The device was on it.
She walked over to the vent in the room, using the butt of her rifle to knock out the cover, before crawling up inside. She quickly made her way down the shaft, until she dropped in to where the power matrix was.
Surprisingly... There were no guards or workers in here. Perhaps there had been orders to evacuate the premises. Regardless, she armed the charge, tossing the sticky bomb right at the target. Turning to leave out the vent she had entered, it wasn’t long before things went to red alert. A voice came over the com system, telling everyone to leave the building.
Nova had the same plans in mind... Until she came out from the vent, someone having been waiting for her. She felt a sharp pain pierce her leg. She fell to one knee, raising her weapon to hit him in the chest, pulling a knife from her side sheath to finish the job. She hobbled to the door, but it was too late. The detonation charge went off, shaking the whole complex. The place started to crumble...
       And everything went black.

wolfofthegray:
Warwick did his best to give a smile, though in this form it was hard to tug his mouth in such a way. He was fine with her plans and even happier with the scratching. Nova was the first and only person he’d let give him any kind of dog treatment. It wasn’t meant as an insult and it didn’t feel as such surprisingly, so she was the only one given permission.
Once the wolf was alone a huff was let out as claws dug into the ground.
“I’m not one to die. They’ve tried before. Don’t you die on me.” The wolf whispered to himself.
His onslaught began. For five minutes he was to cause an uproar, and what a commotion it was. Shots rang out as the fur moved like a blur. One body, then two and three were gashed into and hurled about. For now injury and death were fine as long as their focus was on him. A mental timer was kept in his head and once time was up Warwick retreated to wait for the shields to stop functioning.
—≪🍂≫”Perfect.”

—≪🍂≫ “Whoa, there. Calm down, I’ll get you fresh meat soon. Just help me secure this objective, okay?”
A chuckle as she reached up, patting the wolf creature’s neck.
“I’ll be counting on you to make use of my distraction.” Warwick answered.
Several months ago Warwick had gotten himself into a one way trip through a Pulsefire Time Portal. When he’d arrived he’d found himself caught up in a battlefield. He’d chosen to assist the stunned woman who’d been near where he’d appeared. It was a rare instance where Warwick instantly clicked with someone, a feeling he hadn’t experienced since he was a child. In time that click had evolved into a more proper companionship.
“Just tell me how long I need to distract them for.” He added. “Don’t forget, if you need me, howl. As stupid as it was of an idea you came up with it and it works well with my senses.”
Warwick began to flare up his emotions, transforming the color of his core from green to red. Ever since travelling through the portal the increased amount of fluids didn’t wrack him with increased pain, though the normal pain felt in all waking hours never ceased.
—≪🍂≫”Five minutes. Then take cover for three minutes. When you go into hiding, I’ll lower the shields. Move into the main part of the bay and slaughter what you can. I’ll be moving on the catwalks above. I’ll snipe what I can for you while I make my way to the energy core. When I fire the flare, you are to get out. I’ll meet with you at the back.”
She reached up higher, scratching his ear. If this went well, this rebel base would fall to secure the duo another victory.
Fate would have other ideas in store, but Nova didn’t know yet just how wrong her plan would go.
“I’m heading in, be careful. Don’t get yourself killed.”
She removed the rifle from her shoulder, moving back. She gave him a salute, then touched her heart, before moving inside the building.
