Bledsoe HR Consulting (BHRC®) was established to address the increasing need for a trusted and practical human capital center of expertise in all areas of Global Human Resources. Bledsoe’s interest in partnering with clients to meet their human resource needs has influenced the strategic direction of the firm. (BHRC®) is equipped to provide cutting edge, “outside-the-box” Human Capital solutions and support both virtually and onsite, as well as on a short term, long-term or intermittent project basis. Bledsoe began his stellar career in 1996 as a Human Resource Advisor for the Assurance Industry working with the company, Canada Life, in Atlanta, Georgia and later the HR Leader for a manufacturing population of Cheese and Dairy Associates at Kraft Foods. In 2006, he became Director of Human Resources for ITT Corporation – Energy Absorption Division.  In this role he directed Human Resources for Industrial & Aerospace employees in several global locations with a primary focus in the merger and acquisition and workforce integration of acquired companies. He held such post until its ITT business unit (Value Center) dissolved.  He later assumed the role as Head of Human Resources for ES3 and later founded Bledsoe HR Consulting (BHRC®). In addition to being a Director and Head of Human Resources, Bledsoe facilitated Human Resources Management and Organizational Development courses for The University of Phoenix for over 5 years.
Over the last 16 years, as a Senior Human Resource Executive, Bledsoe has demonstrated nothing less than consistent, impeccable, and sheer leadership skills throughout complex organizations. He is esteemed for his ability to structure and staff organizations that constantly deliver business results.  For instance, he has supported global manufacturing in Latin America (Canoas, Manaus, Mexico City & Reynosa), Europe (Villasanta, Miraco, Paris, Madrid, & UK), and Asia-Pacific (India, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, & Perth); successfully defended 3 OFCCP charges; thwarted union organized attempts; chaired an Accident Review Committee that instituted a light duty return to work program with over $100,000 in savings; reduced grievance/issue resolution activities 35% by conditioning supervision and union members to handle problems at the lowest level possible; and generated new training opportunities for employees to upgrade their employment skill levels with a certification program.  Bledsoe also led creative recruitment efforts for professional positions in an average success rate of thirty days or less and below the national average cost per hire/time to fill; reduced annual personnel costs by developing and implementing an absence control program, which increased productivity and reduced unscheduled absences by 47%.  He also coached front line supervisors in various interviewing and selection techniques including behavioral based interviewing and grievance/issue resolution. Additionally, he was instrumental as an HR Strategic Business Partner in the integration of acquired company associates into the new parent company and saved $300,000 by migrating employee benefits from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western, NY to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Ohio.
As a philanthropist, Bledsoe strongly believes in giving back to both family and community. He has been an active member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America for over 10 years. Having the personal conviction of going above and beyond, Bledsoe also has philanthropic connections with the March of Dimes, Head Start, and Boy Scouts of America. Bledsoe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from University of Tennessee and a Master of Public Administration in Human Resources Management from Troy State University.
