The amount of delusion & toxicity in the Bleach official IG page is just sad. On every Hime pic, IR say "Fuk her" & hate on her. On every pic with Rukia/Ichigo they whine & harass Kubo & attack IHs, 1 of them commented "U better rewrite the F ending w IR it's what I waited for" & ppl accusing him of "milking" on Ruki pics, & they demand he rewrites the ending & say Bleach became bad & IH made it worse. It's so sad that these ppl also claim that w/o them the fandom will fall :/

I agree, but I'm assuming that it all stems from this immaturity within the fandom. Each fandom has it's disgusting and ugly side, like Star Wars, and Bleach is no different.

Shipping tends to bring out the ugliest side from antis, and I've seen them attack and bully others over this ir obsession.

It's just so incredibly sad to watch adults fall into this toxic behavior of degrading others and sticking to this delusion that they were always right, in this weird sense of entitled pride.

When you hold on to something for so long people will tend to believe anything, an example of this would be like how vaccinations will cause Autism in children, when it has been debunked by professionals and studies. And all it took was one surgeon to suggest it, and a lot of parents actually still believe this article.

And you're probably wondering why I put that as an example? (Tbh I discussed this with someone so it was fresh in my mind)

When you add all these mistranslations and un-sourced material in a big fandom it's obvious how people will believe them.

Don't forget how one-- no scratch that alot of the quotes from Kubo always get manipulated to benefit ichirukis: like that color spread of ichigo and rukia at the beach being called "Honeymoon" or something, but it was only called that by fans because he mentioned a vacation.

...and that infamous "less than lovers more than friends" quote that was mistranslated smh lol.

So yeah all of that contributes to their supposed-justified toxic behavior.

I mean for years Kubo drew manga, and was left exhausted by his agency/co-workers/editors and most importantly fans. A lot of these fans as you've mentioned still cling to this toxic rant to make him change his end-game pairings for their satisfaction, just like they did with Byakuya.

Idk dude, fandoms are just messy it's like a bunch of whiny 14 year olds are on here screaming and trolling people because of their simple-minded beliefs.

In this case the ir fandom, are still holding on to a romantic bond that never existed and they all so crave. (ᴗ ͜ʖ ᴗ)

What's your take on ichiruki?

My take on ichiruki is like those two best friends that are so cool with each other, but everyone wants to ship them when it’s obvious they really don’t like each other romantically.

That’s why I tend to cringe when people say they ship them, because it reminds me that I can’t be best friends with someone of the opposite gender without someone trying to force me to go out with them.

And trust me if someone sees me talk to anyone (i can honestly just talk to a rock or a lifeless guy), and they automatically tell me how cute of a couple we are. It kind of disgusts me that they can see our friendships in such a way, it always feels like they are disrespecting us as individuals. 

I guess some people don’t understand how someone can come into your life and change it, without it being romantic. Don’t get me wrong sometimes it can be romantic, but in ichigo and rukia’s case it never was.

Especially when it was obvious that they each respectably had a love interest. cough renji cough orihime cough cough 

In the end I don’t have a problem if people ship it, it’s just claiming that there was actual love between them that makes me disappointed in how narrow-minded and delusional they are.

Their relationship is just a good bond, it will always be the sensei and student or team duo that fight and protect the ones they love.

It's so good to see you back! Your posts are always hilarious and I think you also noticed that ichiruki's delusions are at a all time high again due to the live action movie - that they didn't want to support but still claim it as a "ichiruki love story" movie 😂

I don’t know when alot of these messages were sent in, but I appreciate this so much!

And i’ve seen some of their delusions and denials, especially how they can’t bare the thought that even the live action actors see ichigo and rukia as a motherly bond.

Don’t forget they tend to twist words so in their opinion what rukia’s actress meant was that she actually wanted to be the mother of ichigo’s children- child lol. 

Smh, I would be surprised if they weren’t saying how we are delusional for supporting the romantic relationship between ichigo and orihime in the movie.

So good to see you online again!! I missed your content and rants. You really are a gem and fierce protector of the IH ship. People like you and @ichinoue, @ichihime and a few others have helped me feel more confident in shipping IH. Not that I ever had any doubt about IH becoming canon (lets be honest, if it would end with couples, IH and RR were practically guaranteed) but I have severe anxiety and you guys helped me not to let obnoxious and bullying antis bother me much anymore ❤

They forgot we never had problems with IR friendship, we're not the ones who were left to write anti essays about a ship's every scene and claim it as negative just because their ship had no content and they had nothing else to do for years LOL "15 years of development" my ass, 10 years out of those they were prawling a desert thirsty for a single drop

Yeah, I don’t get the “15 years of development” argument, either. IR’s development was condensed into the first two arcs of the series, rounding out with the beginning of the arrancar arc, and after that, their dynamic was literally defined by long stretches of time spent apart in between reunions where their bond was reinforced as the same old thing it always was, with no change in sight. It stagnated with the beginning of the arrancar arc, just as their screentime began to plateau. Because it simply had no where else to go. They were as close as they could be, and Kubo had no intention of taking it into romance, so there was nothing left to develop. And once the HM arc began, you can literally count their interactions: 1. Rukia showing up in HM with Renji before the group goes their separate ways. 2. Ichigo seeing Rukia and the others on his way to confront Ulquiorra. 3. Ichigo protecting Rukia after the lust arc during the brief battle with Yammy.4.The moment they all meet back up again after the Aizen battle. 5 The goodbye scene when Ichigo loses his powers. 6. Rukia showing up in the FB arc to restore his powers.7. Ichigo visiting Rukia and Renji in the hospital in the final arc. 8. The hot springs scene.9. Rukia and Renji showing up to where Ichigo and Orihime are before Renji and Ichigo leave to pursue Yhwach. 10. Rukia and Renji visiting the Kurosaki home.And that’s it. The HM arc began with chapter 239. The final chapter was 686. So, a total of 10 interactions in 239-686 chapters. That’s over half of the series—65%! Nearly 450 chapters went by, and Ichigo and Rukia were together a total of 10 times, sometimes for mere seconds, while she’s attached at Renji’s hip the entire time.So, you can just imagine how many years went by without any new content or IR interactions for them. That’s the reason they hyped up IR reunions so much, because Ichigo and Rukia rarely spent any time together in the last 65% of the series. If your ship is getting consistent screentime, you don’t need reunions, because they don’t spend enough time apart to require them.And as you said, they talked about IH more than they talked about their own ship because IH had a lot more new manga moments and content to discuss. IH’s screentime and development was consistent all the way through: the arrancar arc, the HM arc, the FB arc, the final arc. We gained in moments and screentime and momentum and development, while they never got back what they had in the very first arc of the series. And so, to cope with that, they had to pick apart virtually every single IH interaction, analyze it with a microscope and then write long-winded meta about how toxic and terrible it all was and how it clearly was spelling out the imminent downfall of IH. Meanwhile, with every IR interaction (however few there were), we were like “cool.” We didn’t have to break it down to diminish some perceived threat, because we didn’t see it as a threat. We didn’t have to prove that it was toxic or terrible, because it wasn’t. It was great! A great friendship, great bond. It just wasn’t romantic. See how simple that is? That right there told you everything you needed to know lmao
