Lion at Rest

HELLO long time no post!! We were recently given the OK signal to post so here it is -- my full piece for the FE4/5 zine Floreale di Jugdral organised by August Emblem!! I highly recommend checking out the link to see what everyone else has drawn too because I think it’s such a beautiful celebration of the games! I think you can still grab a digital copy (I’m not sure about the physical version for now if there will be another chance, but it might be a good idea to keep your eyes peeled on that twitter account 😬)

To no one’s surprise I nominated to draw Eldigan! Since the theme is art nouveau, I wanted to go for something more peaceful and elegant rather than the usual sad/wartime images of him. Here is a different side and what I imagine must be the sort of thing he does in his free time 🤔 Still, I wanted to be able to showcase the other aspects of his character too such as his knighthood and lineage from Hezul, the lion motif, his friendship and loyalty (ivy symbolism) and Nordion (my image of it)...

In any case I hope people enjoy this pic 😊 Big thanks to everyone who pre-ordered a copy of the zine!

some silly christmas alt ideas!! I think this miiiight be my last fe4 post for this year so I also want to thank everyone for all the support and nice comments – I’ve met a lot of lovely people even though I only started drawing fe4 fanart recently ^q^ I hope to draw better things next year!
