Troy Saxon, a physique studio founded in Kansas City in 1961 by photographer Stu “Pinky” Rosenberg (and later in IA, WI and CA). Troy Saxon Studio was Kansas City’s first, public, male physique photography studio. Federal indecency laws then prohibited such material to be shipped or mailed over state lines making distribution dependent on a state by state basis. Even then it was fraught with difficulty.
