I hate cultural pressure restricting clothing. Imagine living in a world where absolutely nobody can give you shit about what you do or don't feel like wearing today. Like you could just go out in nothing but flip-flops and a thong one day because you didn't feel like wearing clothes, and the next day you're going out in full niqab because you woke up this morning and thought "hmm. no thank you. nobody gets to see even a glimpse of me today."

The 5 Breakfasts That Keep Me Snatched and Sane

Breakfast can either set you up to be that girl or leave you bloated, crashing, and wondering why you’re emotionally spiraling by 11 a.m. I’ve done the trial and (digestive) error, and these are the five breakfasts that never play me. They keep my waistline tight, my blood sugar cute, and my vibe high.
Here’s what’s actually on my morning menu when I want to feel full, hot, and hormonally unbothered:
1. The Glow Bowl
This is my ride-or-die smoothie bowl. It’s creamy, filling, and tastes like dessert in a tropical spa.
What’s in it:
Frozen zucchini (trust me)
Wild blueberries
A scoop of plant protein
Almond milk
Chia seeds + flax for fiber
Topped with coconut flakes, cacao nibs, and bee pollen if I’m feeling extra
Why I love it: It’s high in antioxidants, low in sugar, and keeps me from attacking a croissant an hour later. My skin glows after this.
2. The Blood Sugar Babe Breakfast
Think protein + fat + fiber. She’s here to protect your hormones and keep your hunger drama-free.
Go-to combo:
Pasture-raised eggs (scrambled in olive oil)
A slice of grain-free toast or sautéed sweet potatoes
Avocado with chili flakes and lemon
Microgreens if I’m feeling like a wellness influencer
Why I love it: Zero crash, maximum glow, and I stay satisfied for hours. This is what I eat when I need to feel stable.
3. Hot Girl Porridge
This isn’t your grandma’s oatmeal. This is an adaptogen-packed, gut-loving moment.
What’s in it:
Gluten-free oats cooked with almond milk
Collagen powder stirred in while it’s warm
Cinnamon, maca, and ashwagandha
Topped with almond butter, hemp seeds, and sliced banana or pear
Why I love it: It balances me. Period. If I’m PMS-ing, bloated, or just over it, this brings me back.
4. Lazy Wellness Toast
For when I want to eat like a hot girl but I also have 6 minutes and zero patience.
What’s on it:
Sourdough or gluten-free toast
Cottage cheese or ricotta
Sliced peaches, figs, or strawberries
A drizzle of honey and sprinkle of cinnamon
Why I love it: It’s quick, it’s cute, and it’s secretly packed with protein. I eat this while doing my skincare in robe-core mode.
5. The Pilates Girl Juice & Protein Moment
Sometimes I’m not hungry-hungry, but I need something before reformer class.
What I do:
Celery + cucumber + lemon juice or watermelon + mint
A scoop of protein powder shaken with water or almond milk
Maybe a hard-boiled egg or two if I’m feeling extra
Why I love it: It’s light, energizing, and doesn’t weigh me down. Perfect pre-movement fuel that still keeps me feeling lean and focused.
