My Daughter's First Birthday Party

Introduction

It's been a year since my daughter was born, and I can't believe how fast time has gone by. It seems like just yesterday that she was in my arms for the first time. To celebrate her first birthday, we threw her a party at our house with family and friends. It was a great day full of good food, fun games, and lots of love!

I have always wanted to throw a perfect party for my daughter. I had no idea what to expect or how to do it. It's really an exciting time in their lives, so I wanted to make sure that everything was just right. Luckily, I found a blog that provided tips on throwing the perfect first birthday party! I took some ideas from there and ran with it. We went with a Minnie Mouse theme, I made the cake and searched the internet for the perfect Minnie Mouse birthday outfit! I found a winner @Little Keiki Bou-Tiki, see it here. I can tell you that I will be shopping there for all my kid's birthday outfits!

Making my baby's first birthday cake

For my daughter's first birthday, I wanted to create a special cake that would be both beautiful and delicious. And so I began baking!

Make a cake. This was easy enough: I simply mixed some flour, sugar and eggs in a bowl, added some butter and vanilla extract, then baked it in an oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for35 minutes or so until golden brown on top.

Decorate the cake with frosting. Next came decorating: using an icing bag filled with white frosting (the same consistency as the kind you'd use on cupcakes), I piped little flowers around the edges of the cake by squeezing them out onto it from the tip of my piping bag—and voilà! The perfect decoration for any lovely lady's birthday party!

Eat your delicious creation! Finally for this step: eating all those delicious cupcakes you've just baked is important; after all there's nothing worse than having made something delicious only to leave it behind uneaten—it feels like wasted effort doesn't it? So go ahead; eat up all those tasty treats before anyone else does because why wouldn't you want more than one slice? You deserve it after all those hours spent preparing food for everyone else at their parties!"

Happy 1st Birthday to my Beautiful Little Princess!!

What a beautiful day for a birthday! You are the most gorgeous, sweetest and smartest baby in the whole world. You blew out your candles and made everyone wish for you to have a great life. I am so grateful that I can call you my daughter. You have grown so much since last year when we first met at birth and now you’re an adorable toddler who loves to play with dolls, draw pictures with mommy, dance around with daddy, eat cookies and cake (a lot) while making messes everywhere but also knows how to say please & thank you as well as other important manners like it’s okay if someone is having fun with their friends but they might need some quiet time too – I love everything about being your mommy!! Your friends were so cute during our party – some of them even helped clean up afterward! And all of their parents thanked me for inviting them here today because they love spending time together too which means not only do we get along really well but everyone has mutual respect between each other which makes me feel lucky that all these people get along together because otherwise this would probably be awkward if there were any tension between any two people here (like maybe between kids or parents). But luckily there wasn't any such thing so everything was great!!

My daughter's Minnie Mouse themed birthday party was so much fun and I can't wait to watch her grow up!

It was so much fun to see my daughter's friends and family, but also my daughter so happy. The first time she saw her in the Minnie Mouse birthday outfit with the cake we made it was the highlight of my day! She just stared at it for what felt like ages. I'm glad that I could share this special moment with her!
