oh btw I have a 100 day challenge coming up for the girls who want to be in nun mode with me. which is when you focus solely on God, self improvement, and building healthy habits and ignoring everything else. it’s social media free, heavy on prayer, has an essentials-only no buy, asks for your celibacy, for you to deny yourself alcohol or other addictive substances, exercise daily, reading, and more. details soon.

still don't know where and how to start

Here is my "Get It Together Plan." I use this whenever I feel myself reverting to victim behaviors or my life feels it's falling apart.

i'm going to make a life i love even if it's not the one i expected or thought i wanted. and i am going to let myself be proud and grateful of what i do have. i am allowed to be proud of it without other people realizing the gravity of what i have accomplished in scale to my life and abilities. i do not need permission.

arabic poetry is so beautifully yet painfully romantic, i mean “they asked “do you love her to death?” i said “speak of her over my grave and watch how she brings me back to life" and “because my love for you is higher than words, i've decided to fall silent" and "it is not enough to say love in Arabic, you must say 'be the thing that buries me'" could have got jane austen crying and shaking

Getting out of your shell is good, but it doesn’t have to be fast or all at once. It’s okay to say no to something today because you said yes yesterday, to postpone events you don’t feel ready for, to make plans one at a time. You don’t have to be running to get to where you want to be, you can take it slow.

Sometimes all you can do is try. Even if you succeed or not, trying is already a very brave thing to do. Don't be afraid to be proud of yourself for trying.

well, you know what? i'm gonna be gentle to myself. whether or not i accomplish things. whether i'm at my one hundred or at my ten percent. whether i'm angry, happy, stressed, anxious or insecure. even when i don't have all the answers or all the hope. even when the world demands more and more of what i can no longer give. even when i disappoint people. even, even, even.
